I know that Spring 3 supports JSR-286 (portlets version '2.0').
However I can't find a lot of documentation on that.
Can anyone share some links about this?

Hi,
I am a newbie for Spring MVC 3.0 and trying to write a sample webapp to get the feels of it. I am able to get url to invoke my associated controller, but not able to foward the request from which to my jsp resource as indicated by the output on the browser:

After putting hibernate-validator.jar and javax.validation-api.jar in my classpath the org.springframework.dao.DataIntegrityViolationException is replaced by org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException and this is causing a lot of issues.
I have to put this two jars to be able to upgrade…

AFAIK JSR-303 is the standard bean validation system.
I don't know whether it could do validations like this (I guess no):
if an object has a deleted flag set, you cannot modify the object
you cannot change the start date property, after the date is passed
you cannot decrease some integer properties…

Hi,
I'm using Spring 2.5 MVC and wan't to add another third-party Servlet. The Problem is, that Spring MVC catches all request, so the Servlet isn't getting any request. Here a web.xml Snippet:
