I have not tried yet, as I would rather not spend time setting up memcached if this is not going to work...
I am using Ruby. Is is possible to store a resource, such as an FTP connection, in memcache?

My application requires to keep large data objects in session. There are like 3-4 data objects each created by parsing a csv containing 150 X 20 cells having strings of 3-4 characters.

I have chat engine which is based on the Memcached variables, putting them into arrays and reading them in other end via jquery,
