Hi!
I'm new to ejb. Actually I've created one ejb and I added reference to a web application which will call the session bean simply. How to call the session bean from the jsp file?

Hi,
I am using maven-ejb-plugin to generate the ejb jar and the client jar. Also I am using archive to generate the manifest file.
But the problem is I need the classpath entries in the ejb jar but not in the client jar.

I have enterprise aplication with ejb and war module, and since I created local interface web module wont deploy. It builds fine. EJB project is referenced inside web project.
Also when I delete <ejb-local-ref> from web.xml it deploys, but then lookup method fails.

EJBs seem to be loaded lazily - whenever accessed.
However, I want to initialize them eagerly - i.e. whenever the container starts-up. How is this achieved (in JBoss in particular)

I have 2 ejbs. Ejb-A that calls Ejb-B. They are not in the same Ear.
For portability Ejb-B may or may not exist on the same server. (There is an external property file that has the provider URLs of Ejb-B. I have no control over this.)
