What is needed? For starters, an understanding on the how to properly configure a certificate in IIS.
Many people have found challenges in working with certificates in IIS 7
First thing is to get your certificate created, and then proceed to add it to IIS 7
By clicking on Server Certificates, we will get to this
And we will be able to see the certificate or certificates installed.
What options do we have to get certificates?
They can be generated “in-house” or purchase them from certification authorities. If it is “in-house”, you will those options in the Server Certificates area of IIS Manager.
