In my C# windows application, I am exporting sql server data to excel on remote drive. But it is too slow.
However, if I export data to excel in the local drive, it is fast.
How can I increase the time if I want to export data to remote drive?

We have a SharePoint (MOSS 2007 on Win2003 R2) with SSRS reports (from SQL 2005) embedded in it.
When we connect to the SharePoint portal through our VPN (firewall is Juniper SA4000) and using Internet Explorer (6, 7, and 8) and try to export any SSRS report under Excel, we get an error message:

Hey,
I'm looking into SSRS with intention of exporting a lot of the reports to excel. The problem is that when you export it changes cell sizes and removes borders to try and keep the original report format.
Is there anyway to stop this happening? So that the report exports to excel with the "usual"…
