Is there a way to find which ESXi server a particular VM on? For instance, I am on rhel5.4 vm, with vmware-guestd daemon running. But I want to find the hostname of ESXi server on which this Vm exists?

While running Ubuntu 13.04 whenever the Linux kernel had been updated, this used to make vmware player happy:
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

I get a timeout on iSCSI on different ESX hosts (3.5) at different times. It is puzzling, as both the ESX hosts as windows and other guests are experiencing timeouts.
The iSCSI network is segregated on a private network.
