What Programming languages/technologies stack to use when building Facebook like website ?

I'm developing a website idea that

will perform the same as Facebook functionality without the applications extensibility.
the site will have a client application to perform a task similar to dropbox.com
the site will be a social network of some sort of professionalism,
it will highlight code of almost all languages
has a high speed backend database

Now what languages/techniques do I need to use to achieve that?
