I am asking because I am interested by a lot of questions that are getting closed recently. I understand that the moderators want Programmers.SE to be a place for answers, not discussion, however I enjoy the discussion and find I can learn a lot from it.

Edit #2 Removed examples from here and posted them on meta per suggestion. Would like to have my original question answered instead of this turning into a discussion about Programmers.SE
