I'm a computer science grad student at UCLA specializing in security and/or mobile devices. I'm looking for ideas for my M.S. Project. Something with research and experimenting or testing. I have a few in mind, just wondering if the community has some good thoughts.

I'm currently working on a project that deals with offload security related operations to a grid-powered/cloud server to improve battery life on phones or tablets, aka Security-Aware software on mobile devices. I might be able to expand on this for my project... but I'm open to any new types of ideas.

I have another idea about secure communications with a peer-2-peer ad-hoc network, but its seems a little dull.

Hope this questions is not off topic for this StackExchange. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas.
