Specialized course in Web programming or Generalized course in Computer Science?

I am planning to do my masters in Computer Science in UK. I am interested in Web programming. What should I opt for. A general course in Computer Science or in some specialized course in Web Programming. If web programming, are there a lot of colleges offering these courses.

Are there a lot of job offers there in UK.

I am not sure whether I can ask this question here. If not point me where I can ask this question.
