Hello, my name is Anthony and I'm new to Ubuntu and any other Linux OS for that matter.

My question concerns downloading a program, and then installing it. The program is called Remotedroid, it lets you use your phone as a wireless keyboard and mouse. I'm use to windows automatically starting setup upon download and cant figure out how to initiate the install in Ubuntu.

The programs website says its compatible with Linux OS and the readme file says to just click the extension remotedroidserver.jar to use, but it wont work and none of the files do anything. I've unzipped all the files and my Java is all up to date as far as i know, I think. I'm just not getting how to run a setup in Ubuntu.

I looked around this site for the answer but came up with nothing so if someone could maybe offer some insight I would be grateful. Thank you.
