The enterprise level Linux distribution can now run in Windows Azure Virtual Machines. If you're interested in using Microsoft's cloud computing platform and run the open source operating system, Azure now supports OpenSUSE 12.1, CentOS 6.2, Ubunto 12.04 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2. Windows Azure now provides what Microsoft characterizes as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) capabilities, not only for the Linux distributions named above, but for Windows Server 2008 R2 and the Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate.
