Oracle E-Business Suite uses Java, notably for running Forms-based content via the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) browser plug-in. The default security settings for the JRE plug-in are expected to become more stringent over time. To prepare for upcoming changes to Java security, all EBS 11i, 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 system administrators must follow the procedures documented here:
