  • Change list link to foreign key change page

    When viewing the admin change list for a model, is it possible to make the columns that correspond to foreign keys links to their respective pages? A simple example is I have a Foo object which contains Bar as a foreign key. If I'm viewing the admin change list for Foo (and have it set to include Bar in the display_list columns), the main column would link to the Foo instance's edit page while the Bar column would link to the Boo instance's edit page. I understand I can override the template that's used, but I was curious if there was a solution that didn't require that.

  • WPF: Change the style of a ViewBox depending upon the amount of data

    Hi there, I have a WPF app that has a ViewBox to display the items in my collection, diplaying a 2-column grid for my results. What I'd like to do is, depending on the number of items in my collection, change the number of columns. E.g if there are < 10 items in the list, then show them in just 1 column; If there are 10 items in my list, then show them in 2 columns; If there are 20 items in my list, then show 3 columns. Here's what I have at present: <Viewbox> <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding myCollection}" Style="{DynamicResource myStyle}" /> </Viewbox> Here's what myStyle currently defines: <Style x:Key="myStyle" TargetType="{x:Type ItemsControl}"> <Setter Property=ItemsControl.ItemsPanel"> <Setter.Value> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <UniformGrid Columns="2" /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> How can I make this code work to the above requirement?     i'm using this code to highlight search keywords: function highlightWords($string, $word) { $string = str_replace($word, "<span class='highlight'>".$word."</span>", $string); /*** return the highlighted string ***/ return $string; } .... $cQuote = highlightWords(htmlspecialchars($row['cQuotes']), $search_result); however, this highlights only one keyword. if the user enters more than one keyword, it will narrow down the search but no word is highlighted. how can i highlight more than one word?

  • is it safe to refactor my django models?

    My model is similar to this. Is this ok or should I make the common base class abstract? What are the differcenes between this or makeing it abstract and not having an extra table?     I have 2 table and I wanna a query with 3 column result in on of them 2 column with view count and title name and in the other 1 column with type_ and i wanna to grouping type_ with max(view count) and show the them title but i didn't have any idea about grouping expression. i think we can solve in by using sub query but i don't know which column use in group by. 2 table join with this expression class pk=resource key i exam this query: SELECT t.title,j.type_ FROM tags asset t,journal article j where type_ in (select type_ from journal article,tags asset where class pk=resource key group by type_) but the answer was wrong

  • Can I run a site search like Lucene on a single 2 gig server that's also a web & mysql server

    My site's pages have exceeded the limit of pages for Google Custom Search so many of the results are not found in our site search. I've been reading about Lucene, Nutch, Solr, etc and I'm wondering if I'd have the requirements for running those on a single server that also runs the site (on nginx) and our mysql server. We hae 2 gigs of RAM. I'd appreciate any suggestions for migrating to a new site search.

    i have some old php files which i'd like to convert to use gettext. those files have a content like this : $LD = 'Some String'; $Another = 'some other ~n~ string'; i have to substitute all the $LD, $Another in the files where they are declared with something like : _('Some string'); hacking a bit a created some sort of regexp to find the declarations, my aim was to use sed and awk to do the replaces..but i don't have any clue on how to do those substitutions ... any help ...

This is my demo site, Just look this site, i implemented some ajax stuff here, my-url In this site please choose the postcode in the taxifrom tab, It ask you value please enter, just enter nw7 , See How long it will take for response,some time no response and system goes to hang or idle mode, Also please look the diversion , select No diversion, There you will list of textbox, enter the nw3 then hit the search icon , See after 80seconds only , you will get response from DB, See this too bad response ... This is DB , my Database type if myisam ,no idexing , no fulltext and nothing...no constraints, So please advise me , which database type i choose, Myisam or innodb, Thanks Bharanikumar

  • Timeout LinqToSql inserting millions of records

    I'm inserting approximently 3 million records in a database using this solution. Eventually when the application has been inserting records for a while (my last run lasted around 4 hours), it gives a timeout with the following SqlException: "SqlExcepetion: Timeout expired. The timeoutperiod elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding." What's the best way to handle this exception? Is there a way to prevent this from happening or should I catch the exception? Thanks in advance!

    I was writing a simple Grails app and I have a spot in a gsp where one of my java beans in modified. <g:each in="${myList}" status="i" var="myVar"> // if the user performs some view action, update one of the myVar elements </g:each> This works, but I don't think it's quite threadsafe. myList is an http request variable but in cases of pages that use ajax (or other client side manipulations), it is possible for two threads to be modifying the same request scope variable The Spring AbstractController class provides a setSynchronizeOnSession method. Does grails provide any equivalent functionality? If not, what's the best way to protect this non-threadsafe mutation? thanks, Jeff

  • Effects of enabling DVFS in a CPU

    I came up with this energy regulating software called Granola while reading at Ghacks.net I downloaded and installed the software but you need to enable the DVFS function in the CPU. I booted up and tried to enable DVFS in the CPU Configuration in my Asus motherboard(Desktop). But in the description it said that enabling the feature might raise some compatibility issues with the power supply. And I'm afraid that I might ruin the CPU if I do this. Any suggestions, any one here who has tried this before? I don't know who the manufacturer of my power supply is. Would you recommend some software that can determine every possible info about the power supply.
