  • Automate SQL Server 2008 backup script failing to run

    I have created a maintenance plan but when I try to execute I get the error: Message [298] SQLServer Error: 15404, Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'XX\Administrator', error code 0x534. [SQLSTATE 42000] (ConnIsLoginSysAdmin) I have given administrator db owner access but still get the error, what am I doing wrong?

    I added a user account to my Windows XP box. Now this user is only accessing the pc remotely. My question is how can I remove that user from the login welcome screen? In fact how can I eliminate the welcome screen alltogeather and just log into the box automatically from the main user account? Thanks

  • Circumvent proxy filter that disables the download of EXE files

    Do you know of a way to download exe files although the web proxy has a filter in place not to allow this? I have searched for a feature web site that does automatic file renaming. That should certainly make it possible. The solution would take a URL and then change the extension so that it would look to my proxy as I was downloading a .dat file (or similar). There are perhaps other solutions to this problem.

  • How can I permanently fix my date synchronize problem in linux?

    Ubuntu 7.10 server i386 clock/date/time won't stay in sync. Are their log files I can view to tell when the clock changes? For a temporary fix, I created a file in /etc/cron.hourly: #!/bin/sh ntpdate time.nist.gov However, this still leaves a potential hour of unchecked time. Is there a cron.minutely? That would still leave a potential minute of unchecked time. I have read about CMOS battery problems, but what if this does not fix it? I'd like to be able to troubleshoot this as a completely software problem. My squid logs are showing dates back in 2005 when the clock changes, and my time-sensitive access controls are skewed and end up allowing users to surf prohibited websites during business hours.

  • usleep() php5 uses 40% of idle CPU

    Hi guys I have a weird question, I have a cli php script which uses usleep (somtimes 1sec, sometimes 2sec, somtimes 100ms it depends) if there is some wait required, but what I have noticed its that once on usleep() it seems to use about 40% of idle CPU: Cpu(s): 5.3%us, 21.3%sy, 0.0%ni, 57.2%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 16.1%st any ideas ? cheers

  • Free POP3 .NET library?

    Looking for a POP3 Client for .NET that basically just lets me log into a server and grab all the emails out, and maybe send some. I grabbed Indy.Sockets off of CodePlex and got it running but its throwing errors trying to decode the mail headers. Really anything is fine if it works.

  • JQuery treeview - add node(s) in middle of tree

    Hi all, I'm just getting started with JQuery and the treeview plugin so this should be a relatively easy question: The example code for adding branches to the tree: var newnodes = $("<li><span class='folder'>New Sublist</span><ul>" + "<li><span class='file'>Item1</span></li>" + "<li><span class='file'>Item2</span></li></ul></li>").appendTo("#browser"); $("#browser").treeview({ add: branches }); Works fine for me, but adds the new branch at the end of the tree - instead what I want is to be able to select a specific node and add to that branch. I've managed to get the node being added by using the id of the particular node instead of the whole treeview in - appendTo("nodeID") However I can't get the tree to render correctly, either with: $("nodeID").treeview({ add: branches }); or $("browser").treeview({ add: branches }); or calling it on both without arguments.   • USB enumeration failure in ColdFire MCF52259

    Anybody with programming experience on the ColdFire line, please help! I'm using the CMX USB-Lite stack with the ColdFire MCF52259. For some reason, USB enumeration fails at the very first step, as soon as I enable the DP pull-up resistor. This is what I'm doing :- INT_ENB, OTG_INT_EN, ERR_ENB are set to 0x0 INT_STAT, OTG_INT_STAT and ERR_STAT are set to 0xff (This should clear all interrupts) In the Interrupt Status Register, bits 0 (Mask All) and 53 are made 0, all others are 1. TOK_DNE, USB_RST and STALL interrupts are enabled in INT_ENB. BDT base address is set. MCF_USB_CTL holds 0x1 PROBLEM: After the host issues the first reset (at which point I enable Control endpoint 0), instead of the expected Get Descriptor request I'm getting an endless series of resets. At least, that's what it looks like, because the TOK_DNE interrupt never triggers. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

  • receive emails in a .NET service (C#)

    Hi, this is my first posting on stackoverflow, so don't flame me too much ;) I'm building a service that's monitoring devices and should be able to receive emails from users, parse them and take action accordingly. It should also be able to send emails about the status of the devices, etc. I'll be using Windows.Live email, and as I said, a .NET service that should be able to send/recieve emails. I am wondering what kind of system would I need to cater for receiving the emails, as I already know how to send them via the System.net.Mail API. Thanks.   • Unable to get the DspStatus Field in the Task document properties.

    Hi, I am using Interop.Domino.dll API to read the NSF file and able to read the properties of the Task Document. When i view the Task Document properties in the Lotus Notes, i am able to view the Status Field, Importance Field and few others, but when i programatically dump all the Field Names and their values i am unable to get few of them as mentioned above. So, how to get all the Field Names and their values as i iterate through all the document properties. Is this the problem of IBM Lotus Notes Application or the Domino API ? Here is my sample code to iterate the TODO document properties : object[] TaskItems = docTodoDoc.Items as object[]; foreach (NotesItem objItem in TaskItems) { m_objLogFile.Debug(objItem.Name + " - "); m_objLogFile.Debug("Values :: " + ((object[])docTodoDoc.GetItemValue(objItem.Name))[0] as String); } Please help me out to over come this issue as i need to access the status value of the TODO Item from the NSF file.     I have a scenario where I need to search from many binary files (using keys) and combine the results (strings). Until now, I have been doing it in a for loop one file after the other. foreach (string file in FileSources.Keys) { aggregatedDefinitions.Append(DefinitionLookup(txtSearchWord.Text, file)); } Since this operation is very slow, I was thinking of using threads, so that I could do IO operations in parallel. Is threading the right way to go. If I use threading, how can I ensure that I get the results in the order I want. I haven't used Threading until now. It would be very helpful if you could suggest some materials/books that would help me solve my problem.

    Hello all, I open a 10MB+ XML file several times in my script in different functions: $dom = DOMDocument::load( $file ) or die('couldnt open'); 1) Is the above the old style of loading a document? I am using PHP 5. Oppening it statically? 2) Do I need to close the loading of the XML file, if possible? I suspect its causing memory problems because I loop through the nodes of the XML file several thousand times and sometimes my script just ends abruptly. Thanks all for any help

  • AJAX POST problems with CKFinder

    We're using CKFinder for one of our sites, which has been working fine for us until we moved to a new dedicated server (which is similar but not exactly the same as the old server). Now we cant upload, the AJAX request simply never finishes. From monitoring it in Firebug it attempts to POST to here: http://www.site.com/temp/ckfinder/core/connector/php/connector.php?command=FileUpload&type=Files&currentFolder=%2F&hash=4f9cdbbb1e295966&langCode=en&= but never gets a response. This is the same CKFinder install on both WIMP servers, one works fine one doesnt. any idea where we should be looking to fix this problem? php.ini maybe? any help would be great as we havent a clue at this stage.
