It fails after insertion 2 and insertion 3 debug statements I have the contentValues in the Array list, I am iterating the arraylist and inserting the content values in to the database.     I have a View where I can upload an image and the image is also displayed in there like this: //ResourceStorage is a virtual directory that indicates to the pictures storage location <img src='<%=Url.Content("~/ResourceStorage/Profile/pic.jpg") %>' alt='pic' /> after I upload the picture, on the hard drive I get the new "pic.jpg" but in the browser I still have the old one (I tried clearing the cache, doesn't help)

  • VS2010 Code Analysis, any way to automatically fix certain warnings?

    I must say I really like the new code analysis with VS 2010, I have a lot of areas in my code where I am not using CultureInfo.InvariantCultureand code analysis is warming me about this. I am pretty sure I want to use CultureInfo.InvariantCulturewhere ever code analysis has detected it is missing on Convert.ToString operations. Is there anyway to get VS to automatically fix warnings of this type?

  • Flash AS2.0 and JavaScript/jQuery (ExternalInterface) Communication

    Hi there, Im trying to use JS to send data to my Flash AS2.0 music player with ExternalInterface, except there are no good tutorials or guides on ExternalInterface that I can find. I want to be able to change the current song in the player by clicking a JavaScript link, and on page / window load without clicking, play a default song. I dont need a super complicated answer on loading sounds in flash, etc., I am just having a lot of difficulties getting JS to send anything to Flash, and when I get that to work - would I need to put some if / else into the flash to determine if the link has been clicked or not?   • Symfony custom route works with frontend_dev.php but not with index.php

    Am I missing something or should my custom route work with the index.php (or nothing) instead of frontend_dev.php? I'm getting a 500 error when I go to the model, and a 404 for the show page. My route is: project_show: url: /project/:slug class: sfDoctrineRoute options: { model: Project, type: object } param: { module: project, action: show } Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!   • Computer sending data while turned of

    I have a some what strange problem (which could have and easy and obvious solution for all I know). My problem is that when I've booted ubuntu (now 10.4 but same problem with 9.10) and turns it off it starts sending a HUGE amount of data via the ethernet cable, so much in fact that my router can't handle it and stops responding. As far as I can tell the computer is completely turned off with no fans spinning. I can add that if I boot windows I do not have this problem, just when exiting ubuntu. There are two "fixes" for my problem: Pull the ethernet cable until the next boot Turn off power to the PSU and wait for the capacitors to unload Is there anyone who knows what could be going on? I'd be happy to post some logs or conf-files. Currently I'm using the ethernet port on my motherboard which is a Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with an updated version of the BIOS (maybe not the latest but since it only happens when I've been in ubuntu I don't wanna mess with the BIOS too much).     Hey all, I have this SimpleXMLElement object with a XML setup similar to the following... $xml <<< EOX <books> <book> <name>ABCD</name> </book> </books> EOX; $sx = new SimpleXMLElement( $xml ); Now I have a class named Book that contains info. about each book. The same class can also spit out the book info. in XML format akin the the above (the nested block).. example, $book = new Book( 'EFGH' ); $book->genXML(); ... will generate <book> <name>EFGH</name> </book> Now I'm trying to figure out a way by which I can use this generated XML block and append as a child of so that now it looks like... for example.. // Non-existent member method. For illustration purposes only. $sx->addXMLChild( $book->genXML() ); ...XML tree now looks like: <books> <book> <name>ABCD</name> </book> <book> <name>EFGH</name> </book> </books> From what documentation I have read on SimpleXMLElement, addChild() won't get this done for you as it doesn't support XML data as tag value.     Hello, I would like to know how to set a JComboBox that contain integers values that I could save.   • Box2D in Flash runs quicker when drawing debug data than not

    I've created a small game with Box2d for AS3 - I have sprites attached to the stage that take their position from the underlying Box2d world. These sprites are mostly PNGs. When the game runs with DrawDebugData() bening called every update, it runs nice and smoothly. However when I comment this out, it runs choppily. In both cases all my sprites are being rendered. So it seems that it's running faster when it's drawing the debug data additionaly (i.e. my sprites are on the screen in both cases!) What's going on? Does drawing the debug data flick some sort of 'render quick' switch? If so, what's the switch!? I can't see it in the Box2D code. function Update(e){ m_world.Step(m_timeStep, m_velocityIterations, m_positionIterations); // draw debug? m_world.DrawDebugData(); // with the above line in, I get 27fps, without it, I get 19fps. // that's the only change that's causing such a huge difference. doStuff(); } Interestingly, If i set the debug draw scale to something different to my world scale, it slows down to 19fps. So there's something happening when it draws the boxes under my sprites causing it to run quicker.. Cheers, Guy

  • email tracking image duplicate requests

    I am embedding tracking images within emails that are being sent from a custom-built opt-in CRM system. The image src is an encoded .gif, such as src="12_34_675.gif". The image is served by an ASP.NET httphandler that decodes the src encoding and serves a transparent image. Everything works fine, but some email clients request the image multiple times, creating duplicate entries. Some clients make three calls all within one second, and some seem to make tens of calls over a day or so. Mostly email clients make single calls, but these few duplicates are very perplexing. I know I can code around them, but I'd really like to understand what's going on. I've checked the IIS log files, which show that the duplicate requests are coming from the client machines. I can't think what might be causing these duplicate http requests. Help!

  • multi-shop orders table and sequential order numbers based on shop

    Hey, I am looking at building a shop solution that needs to be scalable. Currently it retrieves 1-2000 orders on average per day across multiple country based shops (e.g. uk, us, de, dk, es etc.) but this order could be 10x this amount in two years. I am looking at either using separate country-shop databases to store the orders tables, or looking to combine all into one order table. If all orders exist in one table with a global ID (auto num) and country ID (e.g uk,de,dk etc.), each countries orders would also need to have sequential ordering. So in essence, we'd have to have a global ID and a country order ID, with the country order ID being sequential for countries only, e.g. global ID = 1000, country = UK, country order ID = 1000 global ID = 1001, country = DE, country order ID = 1000 global ID = 1002, country = DE, country order ID = 1001 global ID = 1003, country = DE, country order ID = 1002 global ID = 1004, country = UK, country order ID = 1001 THe global ID would be DB generated and not something I would need to worry about. But I am thinking that I'd have to do a query to get the current country order based ID+1 to find the next sequential number. Two things concern me about this: 1) query times when the table has potentially millions of rows of data and I'm doing a read before a write, 2) the potential for ID number clashes due to simultaneous writes/reads. With a MyISAM table the entire table could be locked whilst the last country order + 1 is retrieved, to prevent ID number clashes. I am wondering if anyone knows of a more elegant solution? I want to create a new variable GDP1960, which gives the GDP in 1960 of each country for each year: USA $100m 1960 USA $100m 1960 $100m USA $200m 1965 --> USA $200m 1965 $100m Canada $60m 1960 Canada $60m 1960 $60m What's the right syntax to make this happen? (I assume egen is involved in some mysterious way)
