  • Valid content-type for XML, HTML and XHTML documents

    What are correctly content-types for this documents ? I need to write a simple crawler, that only fetches this kind of files. Nowadays http://somedomain.com/index.html can serve for example an JPEG file due to mod_rewrite, so I need to check the content-type from the response header and compare it with a list of allowed content-types. From where I can get such list ?

  • ListView setOnItemClickListener and setOnItemSelectedListener to store the Selected Item Index

    Hi all, I have read on this site that it is necessary to customize the setOnItemSelectedListener and setOnItemClickListener of a ListView if we want to know the Index of the SelectedItem (.getSelectedItemPosition()). So that is what I do but it does not stores the position of the SekectedItem, instead i have always -1... What I want to do is just to give the user a way to delete items from a list by selected and Item and Clicking a button.   • How to hash a password and store for later verification with another digest

    I am using gsoap's wsseapi plugin and would like to store hashed sha1 passwords rather than plain text. I have spent a rediculous amount of time experimenting with various methods of hashing the plain text password for storage. Can anyone suggest a way to hash a password so it can be later verified against a username token digest sent by the client. I can't seem to get the client password to authenticate against my stored hash

  • How should i be handling string Interning on deserialization?

    In the example below I am interning the string in the constructor which is fine. However when i deserialise the object from the binary formatter I don't think the string will be interned as the constructor should be called. How should I be ensuring the _name string is interned? ... or will it be interned ok?   • Selected number of records from database in DB2.

    Hi All, I have to fetch only 50 records at a time from database(DB2), for this I have been usig Row_Number but now the persons are telling that this Row_Number is not stable and has bugs in it so now I have to write a different querry for the same as I have to fetch only 50 records at a time. so please can any body help me out for the same.   • Are there any way to apply regexp in java ignoring letter case?

    Simple example: we have string "Some sample string Of Text". And I want to filter out all stop words (i.e. "some" and "of") but I don't want to change letter case of other words which should be retained. If letter case was unimportant I would do this: str.toLowerCase().replaceAll ("a|the|of|some|any", ""); Is there an "ignore case" solution with regular expressions in java?

  • Doubt in clustered and non Clustered index

    I have a doubt that if my table do n't have any constraint like Primary Key,Foreign key,Unique key etc. then can i create the clustered index on table and clustered index can have the douplicate records ? My 2nd question is where should we exectly use the non clustered index and when it is useful and benificial to create in table? My 3rd question is How can we create the 249 non clustered index in a table .Is it the meaning, Creating the non clustered index on 249 columns ? Can you anyone help me to remove my confusion in this.

    Hi, we are 5 developers working in an svn environment. every programmer can work on small bugs and commit whenever he wants. after the work has done, i want to give them the way to deploy to the production without considering the other programmers and their deployment. for example: while i am committing, other user is committing too but he did not finish to commit. his revisions 1,3 my revisions 2,4 if i will deploy the HEAD(4), ill also deploy his work. and i will deploy 2 and 4 i will include his files as well. how can i free every programmer to deploy his files only?     Hi, I am using simple date format to allow users to specify which time zone they are sending data in: DateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss,z"); This works fine: e.g. df.parse("2009-05-16 11:07:41,GMT"); However, if someone is always sending time in London time (i.e. taking into account daylight savings), what would be the approriate time zone String to add? e.g. this doesnt work: df.parse("2009-05-16 11:07:41,Europe/London"); Thanks.

    I have two text files. I'd like to copy a specific part in the first text file and replace it with a part of the second text file. This is how I read the files: List<string> PrevEp = File.ReadAllLines(string.Format(@"{0}naruto{1}.ass", url, PrevEpNum)).ToList(); List<string> Ep = File.ReadAllLines(string.Format(@"{0}naruto{1}.ass", url, EpNum)).ToList(); The part in PrevEp that I need: from the start until it meets a line that includes Creditw,,0000,0000,0000. The part I would like to overwrite in Ep: from the start to a line which is exactly Format: Layer, Start, End, Style, Name, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Effect, Text. I'm not so sure how may I do it.     Is it possible to get NHibernate to generate a query similar to the following with HQL or Criteria API? select * from ( select row_number() over ( partition by Column1 order by Column2 ) as RowNumber, T.* from MyTable T ) where RowNumber = 1 I can get it to execute the inner select using the formula attribute, but I can't figure out a way to write a HQL or Criteria query that lets me wrap the inner select in the outer one.

  • Changing Administrator password on a Windows 2008 web server

    I've just taken over the administration of a Windows 2008 web server from a previous employee on a temporary basis. I need to change the Admin password as soon as I can but I've noticed that quite a few of the services also run under this account. So: Is there a quick way to find out which services will be affected by me changing the password or is it a question of going down the list? It doesn't seem right to me that the Admin account is used in this manner; should I create a different account for these services, or is using the Admin a/c standard practice? I realize everyone's servers / networks are set up differently, but are there any other items I should be aware of when changing the Admin password? Thanks

    Google Calendar is a great way to share appointments, and synchronize your schedule with others. Here we show you how to view your Google Calendar in Outlook 2010 too. Google Calendar Log into the Google Calendar and under My Calendars click on Settings. Now click on the calendar you want to view in Outlook. Scroll down the page and click on the ICAL button from the Private Address section, or Calendar Address if it’s a public calendar…then copy the address to your clipboard. Outlook 2010 Open up your Outlook calendar, click the Home tab on the Ribbon, and under Manage Calendars click on Open Calendar \ From Internet… Now enter the link location into the New Internet Calendar field then click OK. Click Yes to the dialog box that comes up verifying you want to subscribe to it.   If you want more subscription options click on the Advanced button. Here you can name the folder, type in a description, and choose if you want to download attachments. That is all there is to it! Now you will be able to view your Google Calendar in Outlook 2010. You’ll also be able to view your local computer and the Google Calendar side by side… Keep in mind that this only gives you the ability to view the Google Calendar…it’s read-only. Any changes you make on the Google Calendar site will show up when you do a send/receive. If live out of Outlook during the day, you might want the ability to view what is going on with your Google Calendar(s) as well.     Hi guys, I'm using imagecache_create_path() and getimagesize() to get the path of a imagecache-generated image and its dimensions. However, if it's the first time we access the page that image doesn't exist yet and imagecache_create_path doesn't generate it either. Here's the code: // we get the image path from a preset (always return the path even if the file doesn't exist) $small_image_path = imagecache_create_path('gallery_image_small', $image["filepath"]); // I get the image dimensions (only if the file exists already) $data_small = list($width, $height, $type, $image_attributes) = @getimagesize($small_image_path); Is there any API method to get the path AND generate the file?   • How do you prevent brute force attacks on RESTful data services

    Hi, I'm about to implement an RESTful API to our website (based on WCF data services, but that probably does not matter). All data offered via this API belongs to certain users of my server, so I need to make sure only those users have access to my resources. For this reason, all requests have to be performed with a login/password combination as part of the request. What's the recommended approach for preventing brute force attacks in this scenario? I was thinking of logging failed requests denied due to wrong credentials and ignoring requests originating from the same IP after a certain threshold of failed requests has been exceeded. Is this the standard approach, or am I a missing something important? Thanks, Adrian
