  • Can I execute SQL statements directly in a JDO environment?

    I am using Datanucleus JDO on top of HSqlDb. I would like to execute the following SQL statement to tell HsqlDb to set the write delay to 0: "SET WRITE_DELAY 0" Is there a way I can do this from a JDO PersistenceManager or a PersistenceManagerFactory? On a sidenote: I have tried to modify write_delay by using the following connection URL: jdbc:hsqldb:file:data/hsqldb/dbbench;write_delay=false It didn't work. I debugged the HsqlDb sources and I could still see the write delay being set to 10 seconds.

    Hello, I'm a big fan of MVVM Light and I use it in my WPF Application. It works Greeeeat. I have a new project in asp.net mvc. And I'm wondering : Is anyone already tried to use mvvm light and asp.net mvc ? I know that some components will obviously not work but maybe, someone has achieved to do a better job with it. Things happened that i want to redirect the page using setTimeout function after a specific time.   • Need to have an aspx page with a Feature in SharePoint 2010

    I have added a custom button to the server ribbon in SharePoint (I have used a feature with Farm scope, so that the button is visible throughout the various site collections). For the elements of the feature, I have added a CustomUIExtension through which I want to load an aspx page on the click of the button. <CommandUIHandler Command="Test_Button" CommandAction="javascript: function demoCallback(dialogResult, returnValue) { SP.UI.Notify.addNotification('Operation Successful!'); SP.UI.ModalDialog.RefreshPage(SP.UI.DialogResult.OK); } var options = { url: '/_layouts/CustomPage.aspx', tite: 'Custom Page', dialogReturnValueCallback: demoCallback }; SP.UI.ModalDialog.showModalDialog(options);" /> I have added the CustomPage.aspx and its corresponding code behind class to the 14 hive (inside 14/TEMPLATE/LAYOUTS). However when I install the feature and click the button, I get an error saying "Cannot load CustomPage". I understand that I haven't deployed the assembly, but shouldn't the aspx page be compiled Just In Time?

  • [JavaScript] Checking for multiple images loaded.

    Hi, I'm using the canvas feature of html5. I've got some images to draw on the canvas and I need to check that they have all loaded before I can use them. I have declared them inside an array, I need a way of checking if they have all loaded at the same time but I am not sure how to do this. Here is my code: var color = new Array(); color[0] = new Image(); color[0].src = "green.png"; color[1] = new Image(); color[1].src = "blue.png"; Currently to check if the images have loaded, I would have to do it one by one like so: color[0].onload = function(){ //code here } color[1].onload = function(){ //code here } If I had a lot more images, Which I will later in in development, This would be a really inefficient way of checking them all. How would I check them all at the same time?

  • How to access individual items in Android GridView?

    Hi, I'm trying to create a game with a 9x9 grid with GridView. Each item in the grid is a TextView. I am able to set the initial values of each item in the grid within the getView() method to "0", however I want to change the value of each grid individually after this but have been unable to do so. I tried adding an update() function in my extended GridAdapter class that takes a position and a number to update at that position but this doesnt seem to be working. public void update(int position, int number) { TextView cell; cell = (TextView) getItem(position); if (cell != null) { cell.setText(Integer.toString(number)); } } Doe anyone know how this can be achieved?   • Activator.CreateInstance(string) and Activator.CreateInstance<T>() difference

    No, this is not a question about generics. I have a Factory pattern with several classes with internal constructors (I don't want them being instantiated if not through the factory). My problem is that CreateInstance fails with a "No parameterless constructor defined for this object" error unless I pass "true" on the non-public parameter. Example // Fails Activator.CreateInstance(type); // Works Activator.CreateInstance(type, true); I wanted to make the factory generic to make it a little simpler, like this: public class GenericFactory<T> where T : MyAbstractType { public static T GetInstance() { return Activator.CreateInstance<T>(); } } However, I was unable to find how to pass that "true" parameter for it to accept non-public constructors (internal). Did I miss something or it isn't possible?

    I want to map a class that result in a left outer join and not in an innner join. My composite user entity is made by one table ("aspnet_users") and an some optional properties in a second table (like FullName in "users"). public class UserMap : ClassMap<User> { public UserMap() { Table("aspnet_Users"); Id(x => x.Id, "UserId").GeneratedBy.Guid(); Map(x => x.UserName, "UserName"); Map(x => x.LoweredUserName, "LoweredUserName"); Join("Users",mm=> { mm.Map(xx => xx.FullName); }); } } this mapping result in an inner join select so no result come out is second table as no data. I'd like to generate an left join. Is this possible only at query level?

Sorry guy I understand this question is not programming related. For a computer I mean a notebook which already has the wireless and Bluetooth, and these two combination shall be able for a notebook to perform this functionality.
