  • Rails gives wrong headers after upgrade 2.3.5 -> 2.3.8

    I just upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 2.3.8, but now my redirects are not working properly. I get the following as the response HTTP Headers: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:40:39 GMT Content-Length: 93 Content-Type: text/html whereas I got previous: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Connection: close Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:41:18 GMT Set-Cookie: _session_id=<correct id>; path=/ Status: 302 Found Location: <correct url> Cache-Control: no-cache Server: Mongrel 1.1.5 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 93 Anyone knows how to fix this? Despite the fact that the redirect is not working, the login-cookie is not set too (but I think, this is both related somehow). I have already tried to override redirect_to in order to set response.headers['Location'] etc., but they did not appear in the response.

  • how to terminate cocoa app in applicationWillFinishLaunching delegate

    I have to show the custom license Agreement dialog to the user before they start using my application.So, i have added new window in my mainMenu.xib and showing that window modally using [NSApp runModalForWindow:licenseWindow]; in applicationWillFinishLaunching: delegate by making my main window hidden using visible at Launch to unchecked. License window has two buttons Agree and Disagree. I need to show the mainwindow if user clicks on Agree button and terminate the app if they choose Disagree. I try to call [NSApp terminate]; in applicationWillFinishLaunching: but it didn't do anything. Please let me know how i can terminate the app in applicationWillFinishLaunching: Thanks

  • CKeditor & MediaWiki 1.15 or 1.16 beta

    Has any body successfully integrated ckeditor 3.x with mediawiki I have followed the instructions for fckeditor, thinking it may be the same for ckeditor too, but that doesn't helps. it either doesn't loads the wiki at all or doesn't loads the ckeditor. any thoughts / suggestions or a step by step to do this would be very helpful.   • NHibernate unintential lazy property loading

    I introduced a mapping for a business object which has (among others) a property called "Name": public class Foo : BusinessObjectBase { ... public virtual string Name { get; set; } } For some reason, when I fetch "Foo" objects, NHibernate seems to apply lazy property loading (for simple properties, not associations): The following code piece generates n+1 SQL statements, whereof the first only fetches the ids, and the remaining n fetch the Name for each record: ISession session = ...IQuery query = session.CreateQuery(queryString); ITransaction tx = session.BeginTransaction(); List<Foo> result = new List<Foo>(); foreach (Foo foo in query.Enumerable()) { result.Add(foo); } tx.Commit(); session.Close(); produces: NHibernate: select foo0_.FOO_ID as col_0_0_ from V1_FOO foo0_ NHibernate: SELECT foo0_.FOO_ID as FOO1_2_0_, foo0_.NAME as NAME2_0_ FROM V1_FOO foo0_ WHERE foo0_.FOO_ID=:p0;:p0 = 81 NHibernate: SELECT foo0_.FOO_ID as FOO1_2_0_, foo0_.NAME as NAME2_0_ FROM V1_FOO foo0_ WHERE foo0_.FOO_ID=:p0;:p0 = 36470 NHibernate: SELECT foo0_.FOO_ID as FOO1_2_0_, foo0_.NAME as NAME2_0_ FROM V1_FOO foo0_ WHERE foo0_.FOO_ID=:p0;:p0 = 36473 Similarly, the following code leads to a LazyLoadingException after session is closed: ISession session = ... ITransaction tx = session.BeginTransaction(); Foo result = session.Load<Foo>(id); tx.Commit(); session.Close(); Console.WriteLine(result.Name); Following this post, "lazy properties ... is rarely an important feature to enable ... (and) in Hibernate 3, is disabled by default." So what am I doing wrong? I managed to work around the LazyLoadingException by doing a NHibernateUtil.Initialize(foo) but the even worse part are the n+1 sql statements which bring my application to its knees. This is how the mapping looks like: <class name="Foo" table="V1_FOO"> ... <property name="Name" column="NAME"/> </class> BTW: The abstract "BusinessObjectBase" base class encapsulates the ID property which serves as the internal identifier.

The URL of the site currently looks like this: http://gios.azamdevelopment.co.uk/magento/ We want our domain forwarded to the above URL and moreover, any links relative should work as well. e.g. http://gios.azamdevelopment.co.uk/magento/customer/account/login/ should ideally be www.giosconcept.com/customer/account/login and so forth.   • Problem opening files with Gvim and NERDTree on Windows 7

    Just installed gvim on windows 7 for the first time, and I'm having a problem opening some files. When I open files (I'm doing this through NERDTree,) vim seems to flash up a cmd window for a few second before closing it (too quickly to make out the contents,) and I end up with a C:/Program folder, and a /Files/vim/vimfiles/doc/ in the directory of the file I just opened. I can see it's trying to access C:/Program Files/vim/vimfiles/doc, which is where vim is installed, however it's choking on the space, and I'm not familiar enough with gvim to work out why. Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated.

  • Iterate attributes and IBOutlets of a UIViewController

    I've a generic UIViewController on my app. All the UIViewController on the app inherits from this generic one. I'm trying to automate the deallocation and releasing of attributes and IBOutlets as properties. I'm doing the first (attributes) on dealloc method and the second (IBOutlets as properties) on viewDidUnload. - (void) dealloc { [_att1 release]; _att1 = nil; [_att2 release]; _att2 = nil; // ... } - (void) viewDidUnload { self.att1 = nil; // att1 is an IBOutlet self.att2 = nil; // att2 is an IBOutlet // ... } Is there any way to iterate all my attributes and IBOutlets to simplify this operations? I want to avoid do it for each outlet and attribute and delegate it to the generic UIViewController. Thanks.

The reason why i ask this is the onload="if(loaded==1)inittextarea() code is working fine on Firefox and not IE8. Why is this happening? Is there something specific i need to do here?   • Can not find Driver when using generic database bundle

    I have a project that is build up from several OSGi bundles. One of them is a generic Database bundle that defines a DataSource that can be used throughout the project. The spring bean definition of this service is: <osgi:service interface="javax.sql.DataSource"> <bean class="org.postgresql.ds.PGPoolingDataSource"> <property name="databaseName" value="xxx" /> <property name="serverName" value="xxx" /> <property name="user" value="xxx" /> <property name="password" value="xxx" /> </bean> </osgi:service> Now, when using this DataSource is a different bundle, we get an error: No suitable driver found for jdbc:postgresql://localhost/xxx I have tried the following to add the org.postgresql.Driver to the DriverManager: Instantiated an empty bean for that Driver in the spring context, like this: <bean class="org.postgresql.Driver" /> Instantiated the Driver statically in one of the classes, like this: Class.forName("org.postgresql.Driver"); Added a file META-INF\services\java.sql.Driver with the content org.postgresql.Driver None of these solutions seems to help.
