  • How to marshall COM object on the server side in visual c++?

    I have a out-of-process COM server with an ATL Simple Object which creates another thread. The new thread will need to make calls to ATL Simple object. Since ATL Simple Object and new thread are created different apartments, ATL Simple Object needs to be marshalled in the new thread, otherwise error 0x8001010e will be generated. How do I marshall COM Object on the server side or Am I missing something? Many thanks.

    Hi all, I want to determine the position of the cursor where user have clicked. And display one div at bottom side of the page where user have clicked. For example on stack over flow home page if some one click on the logo. Then the div should be displayed at the bottom position of the logo. Same way if i click on the bottom link then that div should be displayed at the bottom portion of the page. I am using mootools as my JS framework. But any JavaScript code will be helpful for me.   • IntegrityError: foreign key violation upon delete

    I have Order and Shipment model. Shipment has a foreign key to Order. class Order(...): ... class Shipment() order = m.ForeignKey('Order') ... Now in one of my views I want do delete order object along with all related objects. So I invoke order.delete(). I have Django 1.0.4, PostgreSQL 8.4 and I use transaction middleware, so whole request is enclosed in single transaction. The problem is that upon order.delete() I get: ... File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/backends/__init__.py", line 28, in _commit return self.connection.commit() IntegrityError: update or delete on table "main_order" violates foreign key constraint "main_shipment_order_id_fkey" on table "main_shipment" DETAIL: Key (id)=(45) is still referenced from table "main_shipment". I checked in connection.queries that proper queries are executed in proper order. First shipment is deleted, after that django executes delete on order row: {'time': '0.000', 'sql': 'DELETE FROM "main_shipment" WHERE "id" IN (17)'}, {'time': '0.000', 'sql': 'DELETE FROM "main_order" WHERE "id" IN (45)'} Foreign key have ON DELETE NO ACTION (default) and is initially deferred. I don't know why I get foreign key constraint violation. I also tried to register pre_delete signal and manually delete shipment objects before delete on order is called, but it resulted in the same error. I can change ON DELETE behaviour for this key in Postgres but it would be just a hack, I wonder if anyone has a better idea what's going on here. There is also a small detail, my Order model inherits from Cart model, so it actually doesn't have id field but cart_ptr_id and after DELETE on order is executed there is also DELETE on cart, but it seems unrelated? to the shipment-order problem so I simplified it in the example.

  • Android -- Can't play any videos (mp4/mov/3gp/etc.)?

    Hello all, I'm having great difficulty getting my Android application to play videos from the SD card. It doesn't matter what size, bitrate, video format, or any other setting I can think of, neither the emulator nor my G1 will play anything I try to encode. I've also tried a number of videos from the web (various video formats, bitrates, with and without audio tracks, etc.), and none of those work either. All I keep getting is a dialog box that says: "Cannot play video" "Sorry, this video cannot be played." There are errors reported in LogCat, but I don't understand them and I've tried searching the Internet for further explanations without any luck.   • How to set probability for a targetSprite shooting accuracy in shooting game ?

    Hi, My code is ion cocos2D. I have written code for generating the bullets from the enemy gun for every 0.3seconds. The enemySprite is in right side of the screen in (land scape mode) at winSize.height/2. the bullet starts from the same point and reach the player's end. I used rand() to generate y-coordinate for the bullet to hit on player side. Now, if the bullet bounded rectangle meets the player bounded rectangle the enemy won. If it misses enemy shoots again after 0.3 seconds. Every thing is fine up to here for me. But I have 10 enemies and each have accuracy of hitting player of probabilities ranging from 0.80 to 1.0. First enemy probability is .80 and 10 enemy's is 1.0. How can I adjust the probability for enemy such that it runs according to its probability. Player also hits the enemy.

    Hello, I'm using Win XP and I'm trying to connect by SSH to remote host using RSA key. I've investigated that cygWin recognizes Documents and Settings dir as home directory Z:\app\cwRsync\bin>cygpath -H /cygdrive/c/Documents and Settings I've created .ssh directory in Documents and Settings/user/.ssh and moved known_hosts, id_rsa, id_rsa.pub there. Now, I'm trying to connect via ssh.exe to remote host Z:\app\cwRsync\bin>ssh -p 22 [email protected] Could not create directory '/home/user/.ssh'. The authenticity of host '[remotehost.com]:22 ([remotehost.com]:22)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is f7:f4:2c:e0:c6:7e:d2:a4:45:70:63:df:bf:f2:84:46. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? What I'm doing wrong? Why ssh.exe couldn't create directory /home/user/.ssh? Thank you.

    I have seen on many sites the silverlight video player. I noticed that all of them took a URL as the source of the video file. Can a silverlight player play a video file kept locally? I mean a simple HTML file kept in a folder with the xap (say VideoPlayer.xap) and the video (say ABC.avi) file. The html file would contain an object tag.
