  • How to run SpecFlow tests in Visual Studio 2010?

    Trying to get SpecFlow running with a fresh VS2010 Professional install. Created a new console application and added references to NUnit and SpecFlow. Created a SpecFlow feature. The .feature with the default template code is created. Now I try to run this test, but I don't understand how. When I right-click the project (at the top-level), there is no "Run test(s)" option in the mouse drop down menu. Didn't the SpecFlow install correctly, am I missing some references or some other tool I need to install?

    Hi all - I have the following static function: static inline HandVal StdDeck_StdRules_EVAL_N( StdDeck_CardMask cards, int n_cards ) Can I export this function in a DLL? If so, how? Thanks, Mike Background information: I'm doing this because the original source code came with a VS project designed to compile as a static (.lib) library. In order to use ctypes/Python, I'm converting the project to a DLL. I started a VS project as a DLL and imported the original source code. The project builds into a DLL, but none of the functions (including functions such as the one listed above) are exported (as confirmed by both the absence of dllexport in the source code and tools such as DLL Export Viewer). I tried to follow the general advice here (create an exportable wrapper function within the header) to no avail...functions still don't appear to be exported.

Where a user is connected to one or more roles, and a role is connected to one or more objects. In my free text search, the user can reach only data that he is allowed to watch by object table. Can Hibernate search help me with it?

  • Type-conditional controls in Haskell

    I'm going through the 99 Haskell problems to build my proficiency with the language. On problem 7 ("Flatten a nested list structure"), I found myself wanting to define a conditional behavior based on the type of argument passed to a function. That is, since *Main> :t 1 1 :: (Num t) => t *Main> :t [1,2] [1,2] :: (Num t) => [t] *Main> :t [[1],[2]] [[1],[2]] :: (Num t) => [[t]] (i.e. lists nested at different levels have different data types) it seems like I should be able to write a function that can read the type of the argument, and then behave accordingly. My first attempt was along these lines: listflatten l = do if (:t l) /= ((Num t) => [t]) then listflatten (foldl (++) [] l) else id l But when I try to do that, Haskell returns a parse error. Is Haskell flexible enough to allow this sort of type manipulation, do I need to find another way?

  • How to embed revision information using mercurial and maven (and svn)

    Our project had a nice hack (although I'm guessing there are better ways to do it) to embed revision information into the artifacts (jar etc.) when we used svn. Now we have migrated to mercurial, and we want to have a similar thing, but before I start working on a similar hack with mercurial, I wanted to know if there are better ways to do this.   • how to pass an xml file to lxml to parse?

    I'm trying to parse an xml file using lxml. xml.etree allowed me to simply pass the file name as a parameter to the parse function, so I attempted to do the same with lxml.   • Finding optimal ddrescue command line options where Accuracy > Speed

    I'm read up a bit about this tool and obviously looked at the man pages. The trouble is that ddrescue takes so long I need to get the command right first time. I wasn't sure how to improve on the vanilla; $ sudo ./ddrescue -v /dev/disk0s5 MyVolImage.dmg MyVolRescue.log $ sudo ./ddrescue -v MyVolImage.dmg /dev/disk1s3 MyVolRestore.log From HSF+ to HSF+ drives Source (Broken) HDD is connected via USB 2.0 Dest HDD is inside MacBook I would choose accuracy over speed There seem to be a lot of options but I'm not sure how they impact quality and speed of recovery.   • Migrate data from one server to another using rsync

    I'm moving from one VPS to another, and I figured that the simplest way to transfer data would be rsync. However, the data is owned by a user, www-data, which doesn't have ssh privileges, and I'd like it to be owned by the same (named) user on the target machine. Obviously I need all file permissions preserved. I have SSH access via another user with sudo privileges on both machines. Is this possible to do this with rsync?

  • PHP Beginner: How to pass PHP variable from one PHP code segment to another ?

    I have index.php which uploads a file to server and sets several PHP variables (like $target_folder_and_file_name). index.php also has the following line (it was originally index.html): <script language="JavaScript" src="main.js.php"></script> After index.php returned to the browser, the browsers asks for main.js.php from the server (right?). Can I access somehow $target_folder_and_file_name from the PHP code in main.js.php ?

    Hello all! I am working on some project which requires some HTML visualizing control (WinForms). Currently I am aware only of two such a controls: AxWebBrowser (as far as I understand this is IE-based ActiveX control for winforms) Nabu HTMLView (open source library with visualizing capabilities). Are there any other choices? What are their cons and pros? How configurable they are? For example I want to disable navigation and scripts, hook onto loading methods to override resources loading and so on.

    JAVA I am working on a desktop application which uses JavaDB. But in that case the service of the database comes from NetBeans. If I move my application to another PC I won't be able to access my database. How can I integrate my JavaDB into my application?

    Hello, I'm thinking about using hadoop to process large text files on my existing windows 2003 servers (about 10 quad core machines with 16gb of RAM) The questions are: Is there any good tutorial on how to configure an hadoop cluster on windows? What are the requirements? java + cygwin + sshd ? Anything else? HDFS, does it play nice on windows? I'd like to use hadoop in streaming mode. Any advice, tool or trick to develop my own mapper / reducers in c#? What do you use for submitting and monitoring the jobs? Thanks

    I'm writing a SQL Server stored procedure in which I want to lock a table for update before executing the body of the stored procedure. I don't want to prevent other processes from reading the table, but I do want to prevent other processes updating the table. Here is my first attempt: CREATE PROCEDURE someProcedure BEGIN SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ COMITTED BEGIN TRANSANCTION SELECT COUNT(*) FROM TheTable WITH (UPDLOCK, TABLOCK) -- Pause procedure so that we can view the locks with sp_lock WAITFOR DELAY '00:15' -- Do stuff COMMIT END When I execute the stored procedure, and invoke sp_lock, I see that the table is indeed locked. However, it's locked with an Exclusive lock instead of an update lock: spid | dbid | ObjId | IndId | Type | Resource | Mode | Status ------------------------------------------------------------------ 63 | 10 | 233208031 | 0 | TAB | | X | GRANT How can I get an update (U) lock instead?
