  • How to get multiple copies of a UIView loaded from a nib?

    I want to use a UIView heirarchy multiple times (the nib object is a template). Unfortunately, UIView does not conform to <NSCopying so [cell.contentView addSubview: [[templEditCellView copy] autorelease]]; does not work. I wasn't surprised, since I want a deep copy of the view heirarchy. Currently the view is a top-level object in the nib it is loaded from. Is there a way to reload a single specified top-level object from the nib? Should I split out the view to a single NIB which can be reloaded on demand? Or is there another way to make a deep copy of a view? Thanks!

    Hi guys! I'm stuck in a problem, i cannot workaround! I have a Oracle client 11, with registry key set to AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1. I cannot edit this key, but my application must get data from Oracle in Italian culture format. So I want to edit culture info form my application only. I'm trying to using OracleGlobalization class in ODP.NET library before my Application.Run(), to set culture for my thread: OracleGlobalization og = OracleGlobalization.GetThreadInfo(); //OracleGlobalization.SetThreadInfo(OracleGlobalization.GetThreadInfo()); og.Calendar = "GREGORIAN"; og.Comparison = "BINARY"; og.Currency = "€"; og.DateFormat = "DD-MON-RR"; og.DateLanguage = "ITALIAN"; og.DualCurrency = "€"; og.ISOCurrency = "ITALY"; og.Language = "ITALIAN"; og.LengthSemantics = "BYTE"; og.NCharConversionException = false; og.NumericCharacters = ",."; og.Sort = "WEST_EUROPEAN"; og.Territory = "ITALY"; OracleGlobalization.SetThreadInfo(og); I get always the same error: ORA-12705: Cannot access NLS data files or invalid environment specified.     Hi, I have a table called Resource, and i am making a line chart (the chart is complicated, so just assume its a simple xy line chart). I want to execute the report with different resources. I have added a new parameter and bound it to a dataset to return a dropdownlist of resource names. Can i do a mulitiple selection of resource. for example if i want to make chart with ResourceA and ResourceB, only, can i select these two resources from the dropdownlist of parameters. cheers, Oz

    I have the following query: select * from ACADEMIC a left join RESIDENCY r on a.PEOPLE_CODE_ID = r.PEOPLE_CODE_ID where a.ACADEMIC_TERM='Fall' and r.ACADEMIC_TERM='Fall' and a.ACADEMIC_SESSION='' and a.ACADEMIC_YEAR = (Select Year(GetDate())) and r.ACADEMIC_YEAR = (Select Year(GetDate())) and (CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'FR%' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'SO' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'JR' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'SR%') and r.RESIDENT_COMMUTER='R' For each person in the database it returns two rows with identical information. Yet, when I do the same query without the left join: select * from ACADEMIC a where a.ACADEMIC_TERM='Fall' and a.ACADEMIC_SESSION='' and a.ACADEMIC_YEAR = (Select Year(GetDate())) and (CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'FR%' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'SO' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'JR' OR a.CLASS_LEVEL LIKE 'SR%') ORDER BY PEOPLE_ID It returns only one row for each person. I'm doing a left join - why is it adding an extra row? Shouldn't it only do that if I add a right join?

  • How do I implement IEnumerable?

    I have a class that contains a static number of objects. This class needs to be frequently 'compared' to other classes that will be simple List objects. public partial class Sheet { public Item X{ get; set; } public Item Y{ get; set; } public Item Z{ get; set; } } the items are obviously not going to be "X" "Y" "Z", those are just generic names for example. The problem is that due to the nature of what needs to be done, a List won't work; even though everything in here is going to be of type Item. It is like a checklist of very specific things that has to be tested against in both code and runtime. This works all fine and well; it isn't my issue. My issue is iterating it. For instance I want to do the following... List<Item> UncheckedItems = // Repository Logic Here. UncheckedItems contains all available items; and the CheckedItems is the Sheet class instance. CheckedItems will contain items that were moved from Unchecked to Checked; however due to the nature of the storage system, items moved to Checked CANNOT be REMOVED from Unchecked. I simply want to iterate through "Checked" and remove anything from the list in Unchecked that is already in "Checked". So naturally, that would go like this with a normal list. foreach(Item item in Unchecked) { if( Checked.Contains(item) ) Unchecked.Remove( item ); } But since "Sheet" is not a 'List', I cannot do that. So I wanted to implement IEnumerable so that I could. Any suggestions? I've never implemented IEnumerable directly before and I'm pretty confused as to where to begin.

  • Script to restart BlackBerry services

    Can somebody give me a script advice/example of how to restart services? I have to restart 17 services, but the first 4 services have to be in the right order and after the restart command is given to one of the services, the next one should be started when the previous one is finished. I know I can restart a service by net command, and I can build a delay by for example a ping command that repeats for an x amount of times, but I never know in advance how long it is going to take for a service to restart.     The players: my home computer, running Linux with an X server running. (Call it HOME.) a remote site, to which I can connect over the internet using a VPN. (SITE) a Linux computer at the remote site, to which I can connect with ssh -X and nicely have X clients displaying on my local server. (MIDDLE) a very old Irix machine (an Onyx) at the remote site, which has no SSH server (therefore I can't ssh -X to it), only an ssh client. (ONYX) Purpose I need to run an X11 application on the ONYX machine, and see the GUI on HOME. I think I stumble upon xauth issues. So far The current situation is: ? HOME connects to SITE ? A vncserver starts on MIDDLE:7 ? vncviewer on HOME connects to vncserver on MIDDLE ? ONYX starts a forwarding ssh session to MIDDLE: ssh -TfN -L 6007:127.0.0.1:6007 MIDDLE ? DISPLAY=localhost:7 xclient on ONYX fails with Xlib: connection to "127.0.0.1:7.0" refused by server I do know that the forwarding (6007:127.0.0.1:6007) succeeds. A previous attempt was: ? HOME connects to SITE ? HOME connects to MIDDLE: ssh -X MIDDLE (xclock displays on HOME, DISPLAY is 127.0.0.1:10) ? ONYX starts an SSH tunnel to MIDDLE: ssh -TfN -L 6010:127.0.0.1:6010 MIDDLE ? DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:10 xclient fails with X connection to 127.0.0.1:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown). while an error pops up in the MIDDLE session: X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.   • With Maven, how would I prevent Maven from filtering certain properties but allowing others?

    The problem is that I'm trying to build a project that has in its resources a build.xml file. Basically, I package my project as a jar with Maven2, and then use ant installer to install my project. There is a property in the build.xml file that I need to filter called build.date, but there are other properties that I don't want to filter, like ${basedir}, because it's used by the ant installer but gets replaced by Maven's basedir variable. So, I need to somehow tell Maven to filter ${build.date}, but not ${basedir}. I tried creating a properties file as a filter with "basedir=${basedir}" as one of the properties, but I get the following error: Resolving expression: '${basedir}': Detected the following recursive expression cycle: [basedir] Any suggestions would be much appreciated.   • inject a mockups to a bean that has @autowired annotations

    I have a bean that has a couple of beans injected with the autowire annotation (no qualifier). Now, for testing reasons I want to inject some mocks to the bean instead of the ones being autowired (some DAOs). Is there any way I can change which bean is being injected without modifying my bean? I don't like the idea of adding annotations my code just to test it and then remove then for production. I am using spring 2.5.   • Find package name for Android apps to use Intent to launch Market app

    I'm creating a mobile website that will include a page from which people can download relevant apps that we recommend. I've found good instructions for creating the links to launch the Market but this assumes that you are the developer of the app in question and know the exact package name. Is there any way to get the package name, other than just contacting the developers and asking? For the iPhone, I found easy instructions for getting the URL I need from the iTunes store, so I'm looking for info like that.
