    I am trying to calculate the bandwidth of my current internet connection. I am pulling the current input and output transfer rate via snmp.   • SBS 2003 Event ID 3005 (ActiveSync Related)

    I've recently noticed the following Error in my Server logs. Happens whenever Mobile device user attempts to syncrhonise using OMA. The error is logged on the server, but the user is able to sync, albeit slowly. Event Type: Error Event Source: Server ActiveSync Event Category: None Event ID: 3005 Date: 16/03/2010 Time: 01:22:20 PM User: xxxxxx Computer: xxxxxx Description: Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: xxxxxx User: xxxxxx HTTP status code: [409].   • RedirectMatch 301 for just html file

    Hey All. I need to do a mass 301 Redirect for all pages ending with .html for my site. I am looking to move all the old .html files to a sub-folder ir. RedirectMatch 301 (.*)\.html$ http://www.domain.com/folder/$1.html When I add this and refresh the browser I get a ton of folder/folder/folder now after the url ie domain.com/folder//folder/folder/folder..... Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks if you can help

  • IIS 6 with wildcard mapping and UNC virtual directory problem

    Hi. On our production servers (win 2003 with IIS6 and load balanced with an F5 BIGIP), we have a problem when introducing wildcardmapping on IIS6. We use .net Framework 3.5 SP1. The issue manifests itself as by the server only sometimes serving the images stored on a virtual directory pointing to a UNC path. Sometimes the images are displayed, and sometimes not. Removing the wildcard mapping solved this problem. I will need wildcard mapping on the server for future features, so any help/pointers to if this is a known problem will be very helpful. In advance, thanks for any help. Edit: The exception it fails with is the following: Message: Failed to start monitoring changes to '\ourFileServer\folder1\thumbnails' because the network BIOS command limit has been reached.   • Wildcard DNS with URI Request

    So here is my problem. I want to redirect name.domain.com/trips/1 to domain.com?username=name&trip=1 using modrewrite. Is this possible? I have the dns set up correctly however - I am unsure about the htaccess file. Can I link all this information to one PHP or do I need to create a directory for every user? Thanks for your help.

The whole scenrio is given below in detail. Sheet one: Copy the data from column B and Row 3 Sheet Two: Paste the Copied Data in Column B and Row 3 Sheet One: Copy the whole data from Column B to Column G and Row 5 to onward Sheet Two: Paste whole copied data in sheet two from last filled row to onward Data dont overwrite on any row or column.   • Using Durable Services for saving wcf instances

    I am currently creating a service which connects to a DAL and that can run a few stored procedures, one of the issues I am facing is that for certain times of the month, we can't update the database, (at the moment this is done manually. This is done via the user adding a note to their calendar) But I would like to automate this process, one of the possible solutions I can think of using is a durable service. When the date is lets say the 1st of the month, the Update/Insert/Delete instances can get saved to a database, and then ran after that date in a batch. Is this the intended use of durable services ? Is there a better route I could possibly take ?

    Hello, I am quite a jQuery novice and try to read out the result of a PageMethod into my jQuery script. In the script, I hand over the id from the url and want to evaluate the result: var id = $(document).getUrlParam("id"); var check = PageMethods.CheckSystemDefault(id); if (check == "IsSystemDefault") { ... } if (check == "IsNotSystemDefault") { ... } But as a result, the variable "check" is undefined. What do I have to change?

    In MATLAB I'm using a couple of java routines I've written to interface with a MyQSL database. One routine returns a boolean value result <1x1 java.lang.Boolean> >> result result = true When I then use it in a conditional statement I get an error message. >> if result, disp('result is true') end ??? Conversion to logical from java.lang.Boolean is not possible. Is there a way to use the java boolean class as a MATLAB logical type? Or do I have to resort to returning integer values from my java routines?

  • What's causing “Session state has created a session id, but cannot save it because the response was

    I'm getting this fault intermittently. I found this link which summarises fairly well what I was able to find on the Google: http://www.wacdesigns.com/2009/02/03/session-state-has-created-a-session-id-but-cannot-save-it-because-the-response-was-already-flushed-by-the-application/ Basically it says you can try setting the web config setting DisplayWhenNewSession, or try kicking the session state thing into life by getting the Session.SessionID in the Session_OnStart. But does anyone: a) have an explanation for this or even better, b) have a tried and tested fix I realise that I can't flush the response after doing anything that would affect the http response header. If I did this it would cause an error every time but this is intermittent. The SessionID should surely be created by ASP.NET at the beginning of the page response automatically, before anything in the ASPX page or the Page_Load (which is where all my flushes are called).

  • FileSystem.GetFiles() + UnauthorizedAccessException error?

    Hello, It seems like FileSystem.GetFiles() is unable to recover from the UnauthorizedAccessException exception that .Net triggers when trying to access an off-limit directory. In this case, does it mean this class/method isn't useful when scanning a whole drive and I should use some other solution (in which case: Which one?)?   • Is the situation with Java ME improving?

    It seems to be the consensus that developing for Java ME is not as cross platform as you might expect, particularly compared to say java SE, but it is difficult to assess how the situation is evolving. Is the situation improving significantly? Are problematic implementations being patched? Are problematic implementations dying out as a proportion of mobile devices? Is the tool chain improving? Are there ways to identify at least some cross platform 'errors' without necessarily deploying to each and every device?

  • Swap CSS class on the basis of Scroll Position with Javascript

    I have followed answer given by CMS in relation to getting a menu to stay in one place on the page whilst you scroll the page as per this original question and it works very well but I also have a number of images on the page where I'm using the jquery fancylink plugin to show an enlarged image on click. The problem is when you then close the fancylink popup and scroll to the top of the page the static DIV then decides to stick to the very top of the page. Any ideas or help would this would be greatly appreciated.

  • Steaming a non-PCM WAV file to a SilverLight application

    Hi, I would like to allow users to play recorded WAV files that stored on a server back to a Silverlight application as a client to play them. I saw that there is a way to play a WAV file on Silverlight (here), but when i tried to impliment it, i got an error playing the file because it is not in PCM format but encoded. The files that i'm trying to play are encoded with a special encoder, so i thought that the only way is to decode the WAV file on the server and stream it back to the client. The limitation is that the decode process should occur in real time because it is not reasonable to convert all the WAV files that exists. Is it possible to do it? Which streamer can i use? (Windows Media Service can help here?) Does somebody has any experience with such a scenario? Appreciate your help.
