  • Retrieving values from a table in HTML using jQuery?

  • Should I sanitize EVERY form variable passed along?

    I have a form with many fields... The action is set to a php page which queries mysql... Should I sanitize with mysql_real_escape_string every single variable? Or can I ignore sanitizing drop-lists and radios for instance? Also, besides mysql_real_escape_string, what else should I do to prevent attacks? Thanks

  • Where does the creation of permissions live in Django?

    I need to do some debugging, because the permissions for one of my models are created wrongly. So I tried to find the piece of code where Django creates the permissions upon syncdb and writes them in the database, but I haven't been successful at all; maybe I just overlooked the right lines of code, but if somebody can point me out the right module / line of code where this happens I'd be very happy!

    Right now I am using this code Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance(); SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd"); cal.set(cal.get(Calendar.YEAR), cal.get(Calendar.MONTH), cal.get(Calendar.DATE) - 1, 12, 0, 0); //Sets Calendar to "yeserday, 12am" if(sdf.format(getDateFromLine(line)).equals(sdf.format(cal.getTime()))) //getDateFromLine() returns a Date Object that is always at 12pm {...CODE There's got to be a smoother way to check if the date returned by getdateFromLine() is yesterday's date. Only the date matters, not the time. That's why I used SimpleDateFormat. Thanks for your help in advance!

  • Shortcut to create automatic properties using Visual Studio 2008/2010 or Resharper 5

    I have a class that contains a load of properties that contain results of some calculations e.g: public class Results { public double Result1 { get; set; } public double Result2 { get; set; } } In a different class I am doing calculations to populate the above properties, e.g: public class Calc { private Results Calc() { Results res = new Results(); res.Result1 = ... some calculation res.Result2 = ... some other calculation res.Result3 = ... // not yet defined in 'Results' class return res; } } When I am writing the Calc class, 'Result3' will be highlighted in red as it is not yet defined in the 'Results' class. Currently I am using the Resharper ALT-Enter shortcut, selecting "Create Property 'Result3'" which will create the following code int the 'Results' class: public double Result3 { get { throw new NotImplementedException(); } set { throw new NotImplementedException(); } } Which I need to manually change to: public double Result3 { get; set; } Then I use the CTRL-Shift-Backspace shortcut to take me back to the 'Calc' class. How can I easily create automatic properties in the 'Results' class if they are not yet defined directly from the 'Calc' class?

And the pointers... should I use IntPtr or a managed structures? How to mashall the pointer in the last struct to the struct itself? Thanks in adanvaced

  • How can I manage a FIFO-queue in an database with SQL?

    I have two tables in my database, one for In and one for Out. They have two columns, Quantity and Price. How can I write a SQL-query that selects the correct price? In example: If I have 3 items in for 75 and then 3 items in for 80. Then I have two out for 75, and the third out should be for 75 (X) and the fourth out should be for 80 (Y). How can I write the price query for X and Y? They should use the price from the third and forth row. In example, is there any way to SELECT the third row in the In-table? I can not use auto_increment as identifier for i.e. "third" row, because the tables will contain post for other items too. The rows will not be deleted, they will be saved for accountability reasons. SELECT Price FROM In WHERE ...?   • BizTalk 2009 - The Community ODBC Adapter: Receive Location

    I have previously talked about the installation of the Community ODBC adapter and also using the ODBC adapter to generate schemas.  But what about creating a receive location? An ODBC receive location will periodically poll the configured database using the stored procedure or SQL string defined in your request schema. If you need to, begin by adding a new receive port to your BizTalk configuration. Create a new receive location and select to use the ODBC adapter and click Address. You will now be shown the ODBC Community Adapter Transport properties window.  Select connection string and you will be shown the Choose data Source window.  If you have already created the Test Database source when generating a schema from ODBC this will be shown (if not go and take a look in my previous post to see how this is done).   You will then need to choose the SQL command that will be run by the recieve port.  In this case I have deployed the Test Mapping schemas that I created previously and selected the Request schema. You should now have populated the appropriate properties for the ODBC Com Adapter. Finally set the standard receive location properties and your ODBC receive location is now ready.
