  • XSLT: Whole table columns count.

    - by kalininew
Good afternoon, gentlemen. Please help us solve the problem, I do not have enough brains to solve it by myself. There is a table, you must define "simple" it or "complicated". Table "simple" if each row contain only two column, otherwise it is "complicated" table. How to do this means xslt.

  • LINQ query code for complex merging of data.

    - by Stacey
    I've posted this before, but I worded it poorly. I'm trying again with a more well thought out structure. Re-writing this a bit to make it more clear. I have the following code and I am trying to figure out the shorter linq expression to do it 'inline'. Please examine the "Run()" method near the bottom. I am attempting to understand how to join two dictionaries together based on a matching identifier in one of the objects - so that I can use the query in this sort of syntax. var selected = from a in items.List() // etc. etc. select a; This is my class structure. The Run() method is what I am trying to simplify. I basically need to do this conversion inline in a couple of places, and I wanted to simplify it a great deal so that I can define it more 'cleanly'. class TModel { public Guid Id { get; set; } } class TModels : List<TModel> { } class TValue { } class TStorage { public Dictionary<Guid, TValue> Items { get; set; } } class TArranged { public Dictionary<TModel, TValue> Items { get; set; } } static class Repository { static public TItem Single<TItem, TCollection>(Predicate<TItem> expression) { return default(TItem); // access logic. } } class Sample { public void Run() { TStorage tStorage = new TStorage(); // access tStorage logic here. Dictionary<TModel, TValue> d = new Dictionary<TModel, TValue>(); foreach (KeyValuePair<Guid, TValue> kv in tStorage.Items) { d.Add(Repository.Single<TModel, TModels>(m => m.Id == kv.Key),kv.Value); } } }

  • I can I separate multiple logical pages in a text file I create in Perl?

    - by Micah
    So far, I've been successful with generating output to individual files by opening a file for output as part of outer loop and closing it after all output is written. I had used a counting variable ($x) and appended .txt onto it to create a filename, and had written it to the same directory as my perl script. I want to step the code up a bit, prompt for a file name from the user, open that file once and only once, and write my output one "printed letter" per page. Is this possible in plain text? From what I understand, chr(12) is an ascii line feed character and will get me close to what I want, but is there a better way? Thanks in advance, guys. :) sub PersonalizeLetters{ print "\n\n Beginning finalization of letters..."; print "\n\n I need a filename to save these letters to."; print "\n Filename > "; $OutFileName = <stdin>; chomp ($OutFileName); open(OutFile, ">$OutFileName"); for ($x=0; $x<$NumRecords; $x++){ $xIndex = (6 * $x); $clTitle = @ClientAoA[$xIndex]; $clName = @ClientAoA[$xIndex+1]; #I use this 6x multiplier because my records have 6 elements. #For this routine I'm only interested in name and title. #Reset OutLetter array #Midletter has other merged fields that aren't specific to who's receiving the letter. @OutLetter = @MiddleLetter; for ($y=0; $y<=$ifLength; $y++){ #Step through line by line and insert the name. $WorkLine = @OutLetter[$y]; $WorkLine =~ s/\[ClientTitle\]/$clTitle/; $WorkLine =~ s/\[ClientName\]/$clName/; @OutLetter[$y] = $WorkLine; } print OutFile "@OutLetter"; #Will chr(12) work here, or is there something better? print OutFile chr(12); $StatusX = $x+1; print "Writing output $StatusX of $NumRecords... \n\n"; } close(OutFile); }

  • Custom EntityNotFoundDelegate

    - by Felix
Hi all, I get a org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException when I want to delete an object which doesn't exist anymore via hibernate. I just want this exception to be ignored. I could catch the exception and ignore, this would be a solution maybe. But, since there is a hibernate support for ignoring this exception through org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration#entityNotFoundDelegate, I would like to use its advantage and control it using configuration. The question is then, how can I introduce my own/custom implementation of EntityNotFoundDelegate to the org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration? Does anybody have a sample code for me? Just an additional tip, I use Spring Framework as well in my project. Here is the exception that I get: Caused by: org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateObjectRetrievalFailureException: No row with the given identifier exists: [de.mycompany.domain.ResultObject#810b1334-32d3-02b0-e044-769e0ab48e48]; nested exception is org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException: No row with the given identifier exists: [de.mycompany.domain.ResultObject#810b1334-32d3-02b0-e044-769e0ab48e48] at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.SessionFactoryUtils.convertHibernateAccessException(SessionFactoryUtils.java:660) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateAccessor.convertHibernateAccessException(HibernateAccessor.java:412) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.doExecute(HibernateTemplate.java:424) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.executeWithNativeSession(HibernateTemplate.java:374) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.delete(HibernateTemplate.java:865) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.delete(HibernateTemplate.java:859) at de.mycompany.utils.dao.impl.PersistentDaoImpl.delete(PersistentDaoImpl.java:50) at de.mycompany.utils.service.ServiceImpl.delete(ServiceImpl.java:68) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at org.springframework.aop.support.AopUtils.invokeJoinpointUsingReflection(AopUtils.java:307) at org.springframework.aop.framework.ReflectiveMethodInvocation.invokeJoinpoint(ReflectiveMethodInvocation.java:182) at org.springframework.aop.framework.ReflectiveMethodInvocation.proceed(ReflectiveMethodInvocation.java:149) at de.mycompany.utils.service.ServiceInterceptor.invoke(ServiceInterceptor.java:43) at org.springframework.aop.framework.ReflectiveMethodInvocation.proceed(ReflectiveMethodInvocation.java:171) at org.springframework.aop.framework.JdkDynamicAopProxy.invoke(JdkDynamicAopProxy.java:204) at $Proxy3.delete(Unknown Source) ... 14 more Caused by: org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException: No row with the given identifier exists: [de.mycompany.domain.ResultObject#810b1334-32d3-02b0-e044-769e0ab48e48] at org.hibernate.impl.SessionFactoryImpl$2.handleEntityNotFound(SessionFactoryImpl.java:409) at org.hibernate.proxy.AbstractLazyInitializer.checkTargetState(AbstractLazyInitializer.java:108) at org.hibernate.proxy.AbstractLazyInitializer.initialize(AbstractLazyInitializer.java:97) at org.hibernate.proxy.AbstractLazyInitializer.getImplementation(AbstractLazyInitializer.java:140) at org.hibernate.engine.StatefulPersistenceContext.unproxyAndReassociate(StatefulPersistenceContext.java:594) at org.hibernate.event.def.DefaultDeleteEventListener.onDelete(DefaultDeleteEventListener.java:90) at org.hibernate.event.def.DefaultDeleteEventListener.onDelete(DefaultDeleteEventListener.java:74) at org.hibernate.impl.SessionImpl.fireDelete(SessionImpl.java:793) at org.hibernate.impl.SessionImpl.delete(SessionImpl.java:778) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate$26.doInHibernate(HibernateTemplate.java:871) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.doExecute(HibernateTemplate.java:419) ... 30 more And my versions: Hibernate: 3.3.1 Spring: 2.5.6 Thanks in advance! • How to add default value on save form?

    - by Ignacio
I have an object Task and a form that saves it. I want to automatically asign created_by field to the currently logged in user. So, my view is this: def new_task(request, task_id=None): message = None if task_id is not None: task = Task.objects.get(pk=task_id) message = 'TaskOK' submit = 'Update' else: task = Task(created_by = GPUser(user=request.user)) submit = 'Create' if request.method == 'POST': # If the form has been submitted... form = TaskForm(request.POST, instance=task) if form.is_valid(): task = form.save(commit=False); task.created_by = GPUser(user=request.user) task.save() if message == None: message = 'taskOK' return tasks(request, message) else: form = TaskForm(instance=task) return custom_render('user/new_task.html', {'form': form, 'submit': submit, 'task_id':task.id}, request) The problem is, you guessed, the created_by field doesn't get saved. Any ideas? Thanks

  • JavaFX Threading issue - GUI freezing while method call ran.

    - by David Meadows
Hi everyone, I hoped someone might be able to help as I'm a little stumped. I have a javafx class which runs a user interface, which includes a button to read some text out loud. When you press it, it invokes a Java object which uses the FreeTTS java speech synth to read out loud a String, which all works fine. The problem is, when the speech is being read out, the program stops completely until its completed. I'm not an expert on threaded applications, but I understand that usually if I extend the Thread class, and provided my implementation of the speech synth code inside an overridden run method, when I call start on the class it "should" create a new Thread, and run this code there, allowing the main thread which has the JavaFX GUI on to continue as normal. Any idea why this isn't the case? Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Predicates and Lists

    - by George
Hello guys, I have a generic list. Some elements of this list belong to a parent element. I retrieved all these elements from a database and i want to recursively build a tree with them. So, here's what i'm thinking: Here is my predicate: public static bool FindChildren(Int32 parentId,CategoryMapping catMapping) { if (catMapping.parentId == parentId) { return true; } else { return false; } } root = list[0]; root.childrenElements = root.FindAll(FindChildren(root.id,???) I can't figure out how this would work. How can i do this kind of predicate?

  • SSMS 2008 Add-In - Execute Query

    - by ca8msm
I'm loading a sql script up to an SSMS 2008 add-in like so: ' create a new blank document ServiceCache.ScriptFactory.CreateNewBlankScript(Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.VSIntegration.Editors.ScriptType.Sql) ' insert SQL statement to the blank document Dim doc As EnvDTE.TextDocument = CType(ServiceCache.ExtensibilityModel.Application.ActiveDocument.Object(Nothing), EnvDTE.TextDocument) doc.EndPoint.CreateEditPoint().Insert(_Output.ToString()) Is there a way to automatically execute the statement as well? Thanks, Mark

  • django : Serving static files through nginx

    - by PlanetUnknown
I'm using apache+mod_wsgi for django. And all css/js/images are served through nginx. For some odd, reason when others/friends/colleagues try accessing the site, jquery/css is not getting loaded for them, hence the page looks jumbled up. My html files use code like this - <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://x.x.x.x:8000/css/custom.css"/> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://1x.x.x.x:8000/js/custom.js"></script> My nginx configuration in sites-available is like this - server { listen 8000; server_name localhost; access_log /var/log/nginx/aa8000.access.log; error_log /var/log/nginx/aa8000.error.log; location / { index index.html index.htm; } location /static/ { autoindex on; root /opt/aa/webroot/; } } There is a directory /opt/aa/webroot/static/ which have corresponding css & js directories. The odd thing is that the pages show fine when I access them. I have cleared my cache/etc, but the page loads fine for me, from various browsers. Also, I don't see any 404 any error in the nginx log files. Actually the logs for nginx are not getting refreshed at all. I restarted the nginx server using root, is that incorrect ? There is a user www-data defined in the nginx configuration file. Any pointers would be great.

  • Bad ways to secure wireless network c

    - by Moshe
I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on this, as I recently saw a Verizon DSL network set up where the WEP key was the last 8 characters of the router's MAC address. (It's bad enough that hey were using WEP in the first place...)

  • can't list files in a directory

    - by Anthony
    I'm using CF 7 and this code is not returning any files: <cfset fileLocation = "\\server\uploader\pass-fail"> <cfdirectory action = "list" directory = fileLocation name = "pass_fail_files" > <cfdump var="#pass_fail_files#" expand="yes" label="files in pass-fail" > <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.name#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.directory#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.size#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.type#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.dateLastModified#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.attributes#</cfoutput> <cfoutput>#pass_fail_files.mode# </cfoutput> I have checked to make sure that the directory indeed has several text files. But when I run the code, all I get is: What am I doing wrong?

  • How do you reference another element in a xaml list

    - by Ball
I'm using xaml as a datastore because It's quick and we haven't yet defined a file format. But I can only seem to create xaml that is a pure tree, even if it is acyclic. I know how to create a list of items in xaml, but How do I share objects in two lists? Below is an example of what I'm trying to say. <CreaturFile> <CreatureFile.Monsters> <Monster Name="Kobold" x:Name="Mepo"/> <Monster Name="Goblin"/> </CreatureFile.Monsters> <CreatureFile.Encounters> <Encounter> <Reference ElementName="Mepo"/> </Encounter> </CreatureFile.Encounters> </CreatureFile>

  • Create normal zip file programmatically

Hi All I have seen many tutorials on how to compress a single file in c#. But I need to be able to create a normal *.zip file out of more than just one file. Is there anything in .NET that can do this? What would you suggest (baring in mind I'm under strict rules and cannot use other libraries) Thank you

  • Bash: using commands as parameters (specifically cd, dirname and find)

    - by sixtyfootersdude
This command and output: % find . -name file.xml 2> /dev/null ./a/d/file.xml % So this command and output: % dirname `find . -name file.xml 2> /dev/null` ./a/d % So you would expect that this command: % cd `dirname `find . -name file.xml 2> /dev/null`` Would change the current directory to ./a/d. Strangely this does not work. When I type cd ./a/d. The directory change works. However I cannot find out why the above does not work...

  • In git, how can I get the diff between two dates?

    - by Weidenrinde
Basically, I am looking for something equivalent to cvs diff -D"1 day ago" -D"2010-02-29 11:11". While collecting more and more information, I found a solution. I paste it here, for others that might have similar problems. Things I have tried: In git, how can I get the diff between all the commits that occured between two dates? was ansered here with: git whatchanged --since="1 day ago" -p But this gives a diff for each commit, even if there are multiple commits in one file. I know that "date" is a bit of a loose concept in git, I thought there must be some way to do this. git diff 'master@{1 day ago}..master gives some warning warning: Log for 'master' only goes back to Tue, 16 Mar 2010 14:17:32 +0100. and does not show old diffs. git format-patch --since=yesterday --stdout does not give anything. revs=$(git log --pretty="format:%H" --since="1 day ago");git diff $(echo "$revs"|tail -n1) $(echo "$revs"|head -n1) works somehow, but seems complicated and does not restrict to the current branch. git diff $(git rev-list -n1 --before="1 day ago" master) seems to work and a default way to do similar things, although more complicated than I thought. Funnily, git-cvsserver does not support "cvs diff -D" (without that it is documented somewhere).
