  • How to Store data without using Database and how to retrieve them ?

    I am parsing the html file to extract tabular information through column names. And I want like let user give the input for column name. And according to that column names tabular information will be extracted. Now that column names which user will input,based on that column names I want to find the tabular information from the html file. But where I should store this column names input by user ? And how to retrieve them ? I dont want to use database.

I been sending mail a lot with asp.net before and never had problems like this before. Like on my hotmail on the computer i get the html but on my iphone i get the plain one. Why is that? and like that wasn't enough The mail wont deliver to some mails like any .pl email. Now here is where I am thinking that it might be a reverse DNS setup thing on my windows server 2008 issue + some company mails, it becomes spam, i had same issue with hotmail but that was solved when I added the plain. Anybody have had the problem before? I am very thankful for any answer I get.. thanks

  • Interval tree algorithm that supports merging of intervals with no overlap

    I'm looking for an interval tree algorithm similar to the red-black interval tree in CLR but that supports merging of intervals by default so that there are never any overlapping intervals. In other words if you had a tree containing two intervals [2,3] and [5,6] and you added the interval [4,4], the result would be a tree containing just one interval [2,6]. Thanks Update: the use case I'm considering is calculating transitive closure. Interval sets are used to store the successor sets because they have been found to be quite compact. But if you represent interval sets just as a linked list I have found that in some situations they can become quite large and hence so does the time required to find the insertion point. Hence my interest in interval trees. Also there may be quite a lot of merging one tree with another (i.e. a set OR operation) - if both trees are large then it may be better to create a new tree using inorder walks of both trees rather than repeated insertions of each interval.

  • Bitmap files added in .rc not listed in resource.h

    I added a large number of bitmap files to my MFC project in resource view (Visual Studio). However, the resource.h file does not list any of these files. I would want them to be listed with exactly the same name as they are added in .rc bitmap list (say the name is xxx) I want it listed as #define IDB_xxx If I try to click on the bitmap in the .rc list and import it, it gets listed as IDB_BITMAP1. Owing to the large number of files it is not feasible for me to manually rename them for use in my code.

  • WCF .svc Accessible Over HTTP But Accessing WSDL Causes "Connection Was Reset"

    I have a WCF service which is hosted on IIS6 on a Win2003 SP2 machine. The WCF service is hosting correctly and is visible over HTTP giving the usual "To test this service, you will need to create a client and use it to call the service" message. However accessing the .svc?WSDL link causes the connection to be reset. It works fine through the local dev server in VS2008 but fails after deployment. I have looked into some of the other options - creating a separate WSDL manually and exposing it through the metadata properties (really don't want to do that due to the maintenance issues). If anyone can offer any thoughts on this or any other workarounds it would be greatly appreciated.

  • [C#] How to consume web service adheres to the Event-based Asynchronous Pattern?

    I am following the example from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8wy069k1.aspx to consume a web service implemented (by 3rd party) using the Event-based Asynchronous Pattern. However, my program needs to do multiple calls to the DoStuffAsync() hence will get back as many DoStuffCompleted. I chose the overload which takes an extra parameter - Object userState to distinguish them. My first question is: Is it valid to cast a GUID to Object as below, where GUID is used to generate unique taskID? Object userState = Guid.NewGuid(); Secondly, do I need to spawn off a new thread for each DoStuffAsync() call, since I am calling it multiple times? Also, would be nice to have some online examples or tutorials on this subject. (I've been googling for it the whole day and didn't get much back) Many thanks

    I want to use a module as a singleton referenced in other modules. It looks something like this (that's not actually a code I'm working on, but I simplified it to throw away all unrelated stuff): main.py import singleton import printer def main(): singleton.Init(1,2) printer.Print() if __name__ == '__main__': pass singleton.py variable1 = '' variable2 = '' def Init(var1, var2) variable1 = var1 variable2 = var2 printer.py import singleton def Print() print singleton.variable1 print singleton.variable2 I expect to get output 1/2, but instead get empty space. I understand that after I imported singleton to the print.py module the variables got initialized again. So I think that I must check if they were intialized before in singleton.py: if not (variable1): variable1 = '' if not (variable2) variable2 = '' But I don't know how to do that. Or there is a better way to use singleton modules in python that I'm not aware of :)

The core part is fairly simple, we have a base set of fields for the object - first name, last name, birth date, city, etc. In addition however we need to accept a list of items associated with that object that can range from 0-n. '&' : '?') + 'taxInclude=' + display; } </script> When passed to validation It returns that the ampersand there isn't valid, but it's absolutely vital to the function of the page, is there a way I can make the validator ignore this? I don't need to validate the page, I'm no JS expert at all I'm not sure if I can replace it with &amp;. Thanks.
