  • Facebook Like Meta Tags not showing Images

    - by Hooman Ahmadi
    I have implemented the Facebook Like button on all our pages and it works properly by posting to Facebook with the correct meta tags. However, the images do not show in Facebook. The image meta tags show up properly when I use the Facebook Linter, but they don't show on someone's facebook page where the Like is posted on their wall. Also, is there any way to have the info recache more often? The tags take forever to update. Our site is built with CakePHP. Below are snippets of my code, thanks: <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:og="http://ogp.me/ns#" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"> <head> <script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://use.typekit.com/wlx8xgm.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript">try{Typekit.load();}catch(e){}</script> <?php if(!isset($meta_title)) { $meta_title = $title_for_layout; } if(!isset($meta_location)) { $meta_location = null; } if(!isset($meta_image)) { $meta_image = null; } if(!isset($meta_type)) { $meta_type = null; } ?> <meta property="og:title" content="<?= $meta_title ?>"/> <meta property="og:type" content="<?= $meta_type ?>"/> <meta property="og:url" content="<?= $meta_location ?>"/> <meta property="og:image" content="<?= $meta_image ?>"/> <meta property="fb:admins" content="1004432800"/> ... echo '<br><br><fb:like href="' . $fbook_url .   • Creating Filter for my Associated View

    - by Hooman
    Senario: Open an account in CRM 2011 beta and click on activities on the left navigation pane, you will now see activities of the selected account and now have two filter drop down lists on the top which allow you to view activities of the account or sub accounts of this account. Is this filter drop downs something customizable or is it a feature only available for system entities (like acitivity)? Is this functionality provided because Activity entity have N:1 relationship with Type of Behavior = System? can we provide the same or similar functionality by using Type of behavior = Parental!?!? Thx

  • Django: Can class-based views accept two forms at a time?

    - by Hooman
    If I have two forms: class ContactForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) class SocialForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) and wanted to use a class based view, and send both forms to the template, is that even possible? class TestView(FormView): template_name = 'contact.html' form_class = ContactForm It seems the FormView can only accept one form at a time. In function based view though I can easily send two forms to my template and retrieve the content of both within the request.POST back. variables = {'contact_form':contact_form, 'social_form':social_form } return render(request, 'discussion.html', variables) Is this a limitation of using class based view (generic views)? Many Thanks

  • How do I bind the Overlay Tool for new Ajax elements in Jquery?

    - by Hooman Ahmadi
    Hi, I'm using: echo $javascript->link('tools.overlay-1.0.4', false); which is initialized with: $(".overlay_popup").overlay({ expose: '#000000', close: '.close_overlay', finish: { top: 'center', left: 'center', absolute: false } }); I call the overlay popup box like this: echo $html->link( "add part", array('controller'=>'garage_parts', 'action'=>'addfrompartlist', $gcar['GarageCar']['id'], $gcar['GarageCar']['car_id']), array('class'=>'js-ajax overlay_popup', 'id'=>'add_part_overlay', 'rel'=>'.overlay_container') ); This all works fine and dandy, however I have an ajax function that dynamically adds the "add part" hyperlink button shown above and I have no idea how to bind this new button to the overlay. Normally, I would use something like this: $(".overlay_popup").bind("click", function(){... but this didn't work for the overlay. Any ideas on how I can successfully do this?
