• How to tell LAMP server to look at 2nd HDD for files when php is still pointing to a location on 1st HDD?

  I have a phpBB install that currently has its attachments stored on my main HDD, but I am running out of room there fast. So I want to get a 2nd HDD installed on the server and put all of the phpBB files on that instead. So my question is how can I tell phpBB to look at my 2nd HDD for the files when it is still pointing to a location on 1st HDD? I've read a bit about softlinks and mod_alias but am still confused about how they work exactly. Does anyone know a good way to do this?

  How can I disallow everything in a directory except any subdirectories that have a certain name using htaccess or even vhost.conf for the site? I have a protected main directory which contains subdirectories. Each of the subdirectories have another child dir named 'thumbs', that I want to allow people access to. In the thumbs folder I have files which all start with 'thumb_' prefix for the filename. So which approach to use, .htaccess FilesMatch or vhost DirectoryMatch? and what would be the code to use? Thanks

• webm html5 videos lose connection with apache server

  webm html5 videos that are played through a domain on my server sometimes lose connection. A video that is playing will start to buffer and then stop part of way through with that message "Video playback aborted due to a network error." displayed on the html5 video player. I am delivering the webm videos via a php script on an LAMP server. There doesn't seem to be any errors in the server logs. Is there any php.ini settings or httpd.conf that I need to set? I recently set 'Keep Alive" to "on" in httpd.conf could that be causing this?

  How do I add nginx upload progress (https://github.com/masterzen/nginx-upload-progress-module) to already Plesk 11 installed Nginx? So the latest plesk includes nginx if wanted, if I install this in Plesk, how do i go about doing the step required in the nginx upload progress module where I need to add --add-module=path/to/nginx_uploadprogress_module to ./config when the module has already been installed?
