• Migrating from a wordpress.com to wordpress.org blog without harming SEO

  I've had a Wordpress.com weblog for 3 years. And its pages have a good pagerank and are shown in first search results pages. Because of the limitations, I should migrate to my own WordPress. How to migrate safely with the minimum SEO problems? (I know how to export content in wordpress.com and import it to a new wordpress.org blog.) Note 1: links structure and site design are different on the new wordpress blog. (I don't like wordpress.com links structure :| ) Note 2: as you know, it's not possible to edit .htaccess file on wordpress.com. so I can't use 301 redirects.

• mod_deflate doesn't work [closed]

  I want to gzip my static files. so put this in .htaccess: <IfModule mod_deflate.c> AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/text text/html text/plain text/xml text/css application/x-javascript application/javascript </IfModule> and looked for mod_deflate in phpinfo() output Loaded Modules section, and I found it. But when I track server responses with Firebug, no gzipped file can be found: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Sat, 08 Sep 2012 21:41:21 GMT Last-Modified: Sat, 08 Sep 2012 21:26:04 GMT Accept-Ranges: bytes Cache-Control: max-age=604800 Expires: Sat, 15 Sep 2012 21:41:21 GMT Vary: Accept-Encoding Keep-Alive: timeout=3, max=50 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/css Content-Length: 18206 What's the problem? • rename/delete a folder from multipart rar file

  Hello. I've a question: (I sent it in past) I have multipart rar file. Their contents are: file.part01.rar: myfolder (is a folder) data.cab -- file.part02.rar: myfolder (is a folder) data.cab <- file.part03.rar: myfolder (is a folder) data.cab <- file.part04.rar: difffolder (is a folder) anfolder (is a folder) data.cab <- file.part05.rar: myfolder (is a folder) data.cab <-- I want to extract it, so I right-click on "file.part01.rar" and select "Extract to ...". It extract 3 files, but in part 4, WinRAR said: "CRC. This file is currput." I think it problem is in the folders name in part04.rar. Is there anyway to rename folders in part04.rar? and cut "data.cab" from "afolder" to "difffolder". I really need it!! it is very emergency!!!!!!!! Thank you .....

• Connection shortcut doesn't work at startup - Win 7

  Hello. I want connect automatically to a network with a dial-up connection at windows startup. So after I created a new connection, I created a shortcut from this and placed it in "Startup" folder (at start menu). But after restart my system, windows 7 was coming up without start to connect to my network (that shortcut in startup didn't work!). but I placed a shortcut from Mozilla Firefox in startup folder for testing that, and it started at windows booting. My windows is WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE. What can I do??? Please help me!!!

• spam email forwarding by server

  Let's start with this scenario: We have a mailbox (i.e. in yahoo), every message is sent by this account, marked as spam by Gmail spam filter. (because the address or sender IP is blacklisted, not because of content) There is a server which is able to forward incoming messages to another address (email forwarding), for example, to a Gmail mailbox. And it is not blacklisted. The question is: If we send a message, through the dirty mailbox to the server, and server forward it to a Gmail mailbox, will it marked as spam by spam filters?
