  • Python Multiword Index

    - by Manab Chetia
index = {'Michael': [['mj.com',1], ['Nine.com',9],['i.com', 34]], / 'Jackson': [['One.com',4],['mj.com', 2],['Nine.com', 10], ['i.com', 45]], / 'Thriller' : [['Seven.com', 7], ['Ten.com',10], ['One.com', 5], ['mj.com',3]} # In this dictionary (index), for eg: 'KEYWORD': # [['THE LINK in which KEYWORD is present,'POSITION # of KEYWORD in the page specified by link']] eg: Michael is present in MJ.com, NINE.com, and i.com at positions 1, 9, 34 of respective pages. Please help me with a python procedure which takes index and KEYWORDS as input. When i enter 'MICHAEL'. The result should be: >>['mj.com', 'nine.com', 'i.com'] When I enter 'MICHAEL JACKSON'. The result should be : >>['mj.com', 'Nine.com'] as 'Michael' and 'Jackson' are present at 'mj.com' and 'nine.com' consecutively i.e. in positions (1,2) & (9,10) respectively. The result should not show 'i.com' even though it contains both KEYWORDS but they are not placed consecutively. When I enter 'MICHAEL JACKSON THRILLER', the result should be ['mj.com'] as the 3 words 'MICHAEL', 'JACKSON', 'THRILLER' are placed consecutively in 'mj.com' ie positions (1, 2, 3) respectively. If I enter 'THRILLER JACKSON' or 'THRILLER FEDERER', the result should be NONE.

  • Android ANR keyDispatchingTimedOut Error while continuous tapping on screen.

Hi All, I am getting Application Not Responding (ANR) dialog while continuous tapping on the screen. There is no view on the screen where i am tapping. • New Computer Build Questions

    - by MJ
I'm in the process of gathering parts and specs for a new machine. I wear many hats, so the machine needs to do a lot. I need at least 2 monitor support, if not three. I also play many online MMOs (wow, aion, war hammer, etc), along with some freelance programming projects. I already have a case which is very large, so it will fit anything. I have 2 other SATA HDs. They are more for storage and basic programs. I feel that the best improvement could be done with a solid state HD, true or not? I'm more of a software/programming guy, so ANY input at all on improving this system build would be appreciated. I have a few questions with this list. AMD or Intel? I don't know enough about either to choose what would best fit me. Thanks! **EDIT: Thanks for the input everyone! Here are some answers: I do a lot of programming and gaming, so I do need things for both. The newer video card covers the gaming aspect, as well as allowing me to have many monitors. (hopefully upgrade to dual 30' or more) I don't need any additional HDs at this time. I have a SATA 160g and 120g from my previous computer, and a NAS system with over 2TB of storage on the homenetwork. I just wanted a fast HD for OS/programs/games. With the memory. I have used G.SKILL before in 2 system builds. It's done excellent for me in them. Very stable. **EDIT2: Made some additional changes. Lowered the power supply down to 750, which saves me more $$. Also changed the SSD to 2 WD 650G HDs. • Missing NIC and USB devices

    - by MJ
Coming into work today, I've found we have a fwe different computers (different companies/networks/OS versions - all windows based) that are all having the same issue. 1) Network NIC is not able to be viewed from network connections. If you refresh, its saying the service is not started. Services state the service is started and running. 2) USB devices are not recognized when plugged in, scan for hardware changes, etc. We have managed AV, that is kept up to date, and a managed patch policy that has all these machines at the most recent patch. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced these same symptoms, and what they have done to resolve them.

  • Windows Server 2008 System State Backup

    - by MJ
What I'm looking for, is info on what is contained in the server 2008 system state backup. It is incredibly large (10+ G), and annoying to backup remotely. is there a way to take a full system state, and then do like a weekly incremental? I know the wbadmin tool, but its options are limited. I'm also looking for the option to remove the 2nd or 3rd oldest backup.

  • MSSQL Backup Question

    - by MJ
I'm currently taking over for someone who was in charge of backing up over 250 servers on different platforms, until we hire a replacement. The main question I have is: If we use a backup software, such as Symantec backup exec, does this perform the correct backup for MSSQL Server? I was listening to Stack Overflow Podcast, and I heard them talk about you cannot just backup the SQL data files, but you also need the transaction log? So, if we just backup the whole machine, would we be able to recover it correctly, since we would be backing up the data file and the log? Thanks!

  • Backup VSS Issues

    - by MJ
I've got this server, and we've been having VSS issues for quite awhile. We've tried every form of re-registering the VSS drivers we can think of. NTbackup won't run a system state backup vssadmin list writers doesn't list anything. We're getting VSS error 12302 in the event log. Has anyone ran into a situation like this before? We're thinking the next step, if possible, is a complete reinstall of the VSS. Any other ideas?

  • Shoretel Reporting Question

    - by MJ
This might be a bit off topic, but I'll ask anyways. With Shoretel reports, the report that generates how long someone is on the phone(actively talking on the phone), if they are listed as "off hook", like right before you dial a number, does that still show up as being on a call?

  • Where are TFS Alerts stored in the TFS Databases? Receiving duplicate alerts after upgrade 2008 to

    - by MJ Hufford
I recently performed a migration-upgrade from TFS 2008 to TFS 2010. Almost everything is working properly now. However, our team is getting duplicate emails now. I'm guessing this is because I used the TFS 2008 power tools to setup alerts. After the upgrade, I installed the TFS 2010 power tools and noticed that there were not alerts configured. I setup new alerts and now we get duplicates. Is it possible the old alerts configuration is floating around in the db somewhere?

  • selectors-api for data attributes

    - by MJ
In HTML5, CSS selectors seem to operate well with data-* attributes. For example: <style> div[data-foo='bar'] { background:#eee; } </style> <div data-foo='bar'>colored</div> <div>not colored</div> will properly style the first . But, attempts to select such elements using the selectors-api fail. Examples: var foos = document.querySelectorAll("div[data-foo]='bar'"); or var foos = document.querySelectorAll("div data-foo='bar'"); in Chrome and Safari, this produces a cryptic error: SYNTAX_ERR: DOM Exception 12 Any thoughts on how to use the selectors-api to properly select elements on the basis of data-* attributes?

  • How long do FireFox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera cache SSL/TLS session keys?

    - by MJ
To try to use a reason SSL/TLS session key timeout on the server-side, I'd like to know how long popular browsers cache session keys on the client. Microsoft describes this information for Windows/IE here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc776467(WS.10).aspx But, I haven't been able to find similar information for other popular browsers. Does anyone know? Thanks!

  • Corrupt Windows 7, Chkdsk finds errors continuously after multiple tries

    - by mj_
My Windows 7 instance is all corrupt on my Dell XPS laptop (my kid hibernated it as it was starting). I got the Windows 7 installation disc and I try to repair the installation. The repair goes through and it says done but it doesn't know if it repaired successfully. It just says reboot. I can also open a command line and I run chkdsk /F manually in there. What's strange is that I've run it 20 times and chkdsk claims that it fixes stuff every time. Eventually it stops and I reboot. Much to my chagrin, my machine is still broken. Chkdsk gives an error at the end that it can't write a log file. I've also run a full diagnostic using the Dell diagnostic tools. The tools say that everything is okay. Any suggestions regarding what I should do next? Any help appreciated. mj

  • maximum execution time for javascript

    - by Andrew Chang
I know both ie and firefox have limits for javascript execution here: hxxp://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=175500 Based on number of statements executed, I heard it was 5 million somewhere in ie hxxp://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:_iKHhdfpN-MJ:kb.mozillazine.org/Dom.max_script_run_time+dom.max_script_run_time&hl=en&gl=ca&strip=1 (google cache since site takes forever to load for me) based on number of seconds in firefox, it's 10 seconds by default for my version The thing I don't get is what cases will go over these limits: I'm sure a giant loop will go over the limit for execution time But will an event hander go over the limit, if itself it's execution time is under the limit but if it occurs multiple times? Example: Lets say I have a timer on my page, that executes some javascript every 20 seconds. The execution time for the timer handler is 1 second. Does firefox and ie treat each call of the timer function seperatly, so it never goes over the limit, or is it that firefox/ie adds up the time of each call so after the handler finishes, so after 200 seconds on my site (with the timer called 10 times) an error occurs even though the timer handler itself is only 1 second long?

  • .NET file Decryption - Bad Data

    - by Jon
I am in the process of rewriting an old application. The old app stored data in a scoreboard file that was encrypted with the following code: private const String SSecretKey = @"?B?n?Mj?"; public DataTable GetScoreboardFromFile() { FileInfo f = new FileInfo(scoreBoardLocation); if (!f.Exists) { return setupNewScoreBoard(); } DESCryptoServiceProvider DES = new DESCryptoServiceProvider(); //A 64 bit key and IV is required for this provider. //Set secret key For DES algorithm. DES.Key = ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetBytes(SSecretKey); //Set initialization vector. DES.IV = ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetBytes(SSecretKey); //Create a file stream to read the encrypted file back. FileStream fsread = new FileStream(scoreBoardLocation, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read); //Create a DES decryptor from the DES instance. ICryptoTransform desdecrypt = DES.CreateDecryptor(); //Create crypto stream set to read and do a //DES decryption transform on incoming bytes. CryptoStream cryptostreamDecr = new CryptoStream(fsread, desdecrypt, CryptoStreamMode.Read); DataTable dTable = new DataTable("scoreboard"); dTable.ReadXml(new StreamReader(cryptostreamDecr)); cryptostreamDecr.Close(); fsread.Close(); return dTable; } This works fine. I have copied the code into my new app so that I can create a legacy loader and convert the data into the new format. The problem is I get a "Bad Data" error: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException was unhandled Message="Bad Data.\r\n" Source="mscorlib" The error fires at this line: dTable.ReadXml(new StreamReader(cryptostreamDecr)); The encrypted file was created today on the same machine with the old code. I guess that maybe the encryption / decryption process uses the application name / file or something and therefore means I can not open it. Does anyone have an idea as to: A) Be able explain why this isn't working? B) Offer a solution that would allow me to be able to open files that were created with the legacy application and be able to convert them please? Here is the whole class that deals with loading and saving the scoreboard: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Text; using System.Security.Cryptography; using System.Runtime.InteropServices; using System.IO; using System.Data; using System.Xml; using System.Threading; namespace JawBreaker { [Serializable] class ScoreBoardLoader { private Jawbreaker jawbreaker; private String sSecretKey = @"?B?n?Mj?"; private String scoreBoardFileLocation = ""; private bool keepScoreBoardUpdated = true; private int intTimer = 180000; public ScoreBoardLoader(Jawbreaker jawbreaker, String scoreBoardFileLocation) { this.jawbreaker = jawbreaker; this.scoreBoardFileLocation = scoreBoardFileLocation; } // Call this function to remove the key from memory after use for security [System.Runtime.InteropServices.DllImport("KERNEL32.DLL", EntryPoint = "RtlZeroMemory")] public static extern bool ZeroMemory(IntPtr Destination, int Length); // Function to Generate a 64 bits Key. private string GenerateKey() { // Create an instance of Symetric Algorithm. I'm trying to fetch some contents about articles in a website via Curl, which I'm doing as follows : $url = 'http://lisboacity.olx.pt/oportunidade-pastor-alemao-7-meses-com-lop-iid-432402267'; $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, 10); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FAILONERROR, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_AUTOREFERER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 10); $data = curl_exec($ch); curl_close($ch); echo $data; However, as you can see, the result is this : result For indexation purposes, I'm leaving a small paste of the output here : ‹ÜW_oÛ6N€~F{hD’å?±“ØÜÄm‚&qZ;-Ö¢0h‰–™R¢JR¶Óapcèð}*ö²§)%Vœ&YÚ·†eêî~¿;òx<6×ö{{ƒ_N»èp|„NÏžî!ËvÝו=×Ýìg‚ªSòÐ@àXREyŒ™ëvO,dM”Jv\w6›9³ŠÃEè^º±ªË8—Ä TµW›ú•~À#" #mj“)¶¬=++{p‘ùÙ¨e)2Wmù,$QÃ~Ïn4jÛ¶g!÷.¨#‡)‹p‰26«>Í–M·.ƒTŽ8ö©ºp8›;‰r-¤°ÕJÂÆ£¢Š‘v/áB¥1 p@ÖN±T\ #Ñ'Žê("’H ŽÐQïÔ…#ƒ:10•(à £¨Ï%¼D]øá??ñ¦›d‘Å8"-+ Ò4Ñ3_ç:åÓÏÁ†ð’\[‘8]ÿÑëÎà zÕ;AOûý½ƒÞÓþA÷ðxíÑê£Uã»ôvS_pB“M ’aÙq€AŠX"øNa¦bx’;hŸÊäoCÃ0þjB3C@ Rå"™0Ãz€cž&ü{æäjúô '&äö'¤åUªõZ½î5êÀd2Ñø=„µ,Ç<†bÛìž3èGöØj±Ð{9Ø; ýÞÉ«,Æ]©.‘îO!Åb~–Á2 !°'uåÊj_Êÿ„œ=†žç;Æ$"Ó-3– I've also tried to load the url contents with PHP's DomDocument class with the same result. What could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

  • C# file Decryption - Bad Data

    - by Jon
Hi all, I am in the process of rewriting an old application. Thank you

  • My first c# app and first null object exception

    - by Fresheyeball
Total noob here. This is my first c# attempt, its a console application that simulates a drinking game called 'Left Right Center'. In the console I receive the following: CONSOLE Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at LeftRightCenter.MainClass.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00038] in /Users/apple/Projects/LearningC/LearningC/Main.cs:80 [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at LeftRightCenter.MainClass.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00038] in /Users/apple/Projects/LearningC/LearningC/Main.cs:80 C# using System; namespace LeftRightCenter { class Player { //fields private int _quarters = 4; public int Quarters { get{ return _quarters; } set{ _quarters += value; } } public Player (string name) { } } class Dice { Random random = new Random(); public int Roll () { random = new Random (); int diceSide; diceSide = random.Next (0, 6); diceSide = (diceSide > 2) ? 3 : diceSide; return diceSide; } } class MainClass { static int activePlayer = 0; static int theCup = 0; static Player[] thePlayers = { new Player ("Jessica"), new Player ("Isaac"), new Player ("Ed"), new Player ("Bella"), new Player ("Elisa"), new Player ("Fake RedHead"), new Player ("Linda"), new Player ("MJ"), new Player ("Irene"), new Player("Devin") }; static Dice[] theDice = new Dice[2]; private static void MoveQuarter (int direction) { int numberOfPlayers = thePlayers.Length - 1; switch (direction) { case 0: thePlayers [activePlayer].Quarters = -1; theCup++; break; case 1: thePlayers [activePlayer].Quarters = -1; int leftPlayer = (activePlayer == 0) ? numberOfPlayers : activePlayer - 1; thePlayers [leftPlayer].Quarters = +1; break; case 2: thePlayers [activePlayer].Quarters = -1; int rightPlayer = (activePlayer == numberOfPlayers) ? 0 : activePlayer + 1; thePlayers [rightPlayer].Quarters = +1; break; } } public static void Main (string[] args) { int cupEndPoint = thePlayers.Length * 4 - 1; while (theCup < cupEndPoint) { foreach (Dice rattle in theDice) { if (thePlayers [activePlayer].Quarters > 0) { MoveQuarter (rattle.Roll ()); // this line seems to be the problem } } Console.WriteLine ("{0} Quarters In the Cup", theCup); } } } } I have no idea what the problem is or why, and my googling have proven more use confusing than helpful.
