    We are having a BAPI that uploads the specified document to SAP. The BAPI accept three parameters: ID, FILE_LOC and FOLDER_NAME. And I'm setting the values as follows in the JCo code: JCO.ParameterList paramList = function.getImportParameterList(); paramList.setValue("101XS1", "EXTERNAL_ID"); paramList.setValue("tmp", "FOLDER_NAME"); paramList.setValue("D:/upload/foo.txt", "FILE_LOCATION"); But when I'm trying to execute the BAPI, am getting the following exception: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: Exception condition "NOT_SUPPORTED_BY_GUI" raised. at com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC$Client.nativeExecute(Native Method) at com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC$Client.execute(MiddlewareRFC.java:1242) at com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Client.execute(JCO.java:3816) at com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Client.execute(JCO.java:3261) The same BAPI is working fine if I execute through thick client(SAP Logon).     The problem is that my application only prints the first document fine. The second document is empty, only the page number is printed, the rest of the page is empty.   • High Power Consumption and Wakeups on my Asus X54H with 12.04

    So I've been using powertop to try and reduce the power consumption on my laptop as I only seem to get about 3 hours of battery. From reading other threads on here it seems my power consumption and wakeups are strangely high, here's a summary: The battery reports a discharge rate of 10.2 W Summary: 651.8 wakeups/second, 0.0 GPU ops/second and 0.0 VFS ops/sec The things which stand out as odd: 1.31 W 4.0 ms/s 166.7 Interrupt PS/2 Touchpad / Keyboard / Mouse So more than 10% of my battery is being consumed by my touchpad/keyboard? That doesn't seem right. 548 mW 34.3 ms/s 45.9 Process compiz 5% from Compiz. Is this correct? 376 mW 1.8 ms/s 47.5 Interrupt [51] i915 298 mW 1.4 ms/s 37.7 Timer tick_sched_timer Another few percent from these things- not quite sure what they are. For reference I've installed Laptop Mode Tools, Jupiter (on power save), the CPU governor is definitely on powersave and brightness is on minimum. What else can I do/Any ideas? I've seen other posts on here reporting laptop battery lives of ~8 hours and power consumption of 4W rather than my 10W... Thanks!

  • Remove duplicates from a sorted ArrayList while keeping some elements from the duplicates

    Okay at first I thought this would be pretty straightforward. But I can't think of an efficient way to solve this. I figured a brute force way to solve this but that's not very elegant. I have an ArrayList. Contacts is a VO class that has multiple members - name, regions, id. There are duplicates in ArrayList because different regions appear multiple times. The list is sorted by ID. Here is an example: Entry 0 - Name: John Smith; Region: N; ID: 1 Entry 1 - Name: John Smith; Region: MW; ID: 1 Entry 2 - Name: John Smith; Region: S; ID: 1 Entry 3 - Name: Jane Doe; Region: NULL; ID: 2 Entry 4 - Name: Jack Black; Region: N; ID: 3 Entry 6 - Name: Jack Black; Region: MW; ID: 3 Entry 7 - Name: Joe Don; Region: NE; ID: 4 I want to transform the list to below by combining duplicate regions together for the same ID. Therefore, the final list should have only 4 distinct elements with the regions combined. So the output should look like this:- Entry 0 - Name: John Smith; Region: N,MW,S; ID: 1 Entry 1 - Name: Jane Doe; Region: NULL; ID: 2 Entry 2 - Name: Jack Black; Region: N,MW; ID: 3 Entry 3 - Name: Joe Don; Region: NE; ID: 4 What are your thoughts on the optimal way to solve this? I did some tests executing the code of my "show" method from a QMetaObject::invokeMethod stuff using Qt::QueuedConnection but nothing works properly. I know I could use Jambi... but I know that it could be done natively too and that is what I want to do :) Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance! Ernesto

    I am writing a C# wrapper for a 3rd party library that reads both single values and arrays from a hardware device, but always returns an object[] array even for one value. This requires repeated calls to object[0] when I'd like the end user to be able to use generics to receive either an array or single value. I want to use generics so the callee can use the wrapper in the following ways: MyWrapper<float> mw = new MyWrapper<float>( ... ); float value = mw.Value; //should return float; MyWrapper<float[]> mw = new MyWrapper<float[]>( ... ); float[] values = mw.Value; //should return float[]; In MyWrapper I have the Value property currently as the following: public T Value { get { if(_wrappedObject.Values.Length > 1) return (T)_wrappedObject.Value; //T could be float[]. this doesn't compile. else return (T)_wrappedObject.Values[0]; //T could be float. this compiles. } } I get a compile error in the first case: Cannot convert type 'object[]' to 'T' If I change MyWrapper.Value to T[] I receive: Cannot convert type 'object[]' to 'T[]' Any ideas of how to achieve my goal?   • Save .mov file with applescript

    I've installed the Perian addon for Quicktime so it can open .flv files, and then I can save them as .m4v or .mov. I'm trying to make an Applescript to convert from .flv to .m4v automatically by using this tutorial and butchering their example applescript file, which normally converts ChemDraw files (.cdx, .cml, .mol) to .tiff, so that it instead uses Quicktime to save the .flv files as .m4v. When I try to use it, though, I get an error "QuickTime Player got an error: document 1 doesn't understand the save message". My save message is currently: save first document in target_path as ".m4v" which looks like the QuickTime dictionary's instructions: save specifier : The document(s) or window(s) to save. [as saveable file format] : The file format to use. I've also tried "m4v", without the period, and still get the error. Is my Save direction wrong, or is it probably an error from trying to use Quicktime instead of the original ChemDraw? I tried to change references to .cdx, .cml, .mol, .tiff, and ChemDraw to .flv, .m4v, and QuickTime respectively, but maybe it's more complicated than that? I would, in fact, appreciate any example showing how to save an application file (ex: a TextEdit .rtf or .txt), as I can't seem to get any kind of file to save using applescript.

  • GParted wont resize extended partitions

    I have dual booted windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and have decided that I need more space on my Ubuntu partition. I used gparted on a Live CD to shrink my Windows 7 partition (/dev/sda3) but when i try to resize the extended partition (/dev/sda4), which houses my linux partition (/dev/sda6), the right click options are greyed out and there is a key next to the extended partition. I have resized the partitions within the extended partition before to provide room, but now I can go no further with that, and need to grow the extended partition. The free space lies to the left of the extended partition and there is a small amount of free space directly to the right as well. Also, within the extended partition is /dev/sda5 (ntfs) , which I have no idea what is on it, but most of the space (3.42GB) is used, /dev/sda6 (ext4, mount point: /), my partition containing Linux, and /dev/sda7 (linux-swap). I hope you guys can help me with this because I really don't want to screw something up while trying to resize the extended partition.

  • Ubuntu 13.10 gets stuck on boot

    I have updated (via the Software Updater) Ubuntu 13.04 to Ubuntu 13.10. After it had finished the installation, the system required a reboot. When I reboot and load Ubuntu it will get stuck on the logo. I managed to boot into the recovery (both console and graphics mode) but I can't figure out how to repair it. I have tried a sudo update-grub, but nothing different happened. I have also tried sudo apt-get install gnome, but the same result... I am using a dual-boot Win7 + Ubuntu.
