  • delete the 'target' directory after build

    hi, i know this is probably frowned upon by maven lovers, but the whole 'target' directory is a waste of space in the context of our program and it's deployment. we have other build processes responsible for creating the actual deployment and i currently manually delete the target dir after every maven build, so that its contents don't interfere with my file searches etc... is there a way to delete this dir automatically at the end of a maven build/install? thanks, p.

I dont know how to fix it, tried many ways but didn't find a solution for the problem. I think the code doesn't work, because i put it invisible on the OnGetCellParams event.   • Having 'mvn deploy' in Hudson's build goals and the standard approach of releasing

    I set up Hudson for my project with the build goals mvn clean deploy site:site, run a build every midnight and whenever there are new changes. One thing I have been wondering is whether I should include deploy in the build goals because it could happen that if I had just released version 1.0.0 of my project (I've changed the pom to be version 1.0.0 and committed it) but not yet increased the version number to 1.0.1-SNAPSHOT for several days, I could end up with multiple different 1.0.0 builds being deployed at different times. But I've seen people are using deploy in their Hudson's build goals - I wonder how they deal with this issue. What's the correct way of doing a release with Maven actually? Thanks for any pointers!

All users are authenticated using Facebook Connect, but since the event won't be created in their name I don't know if that's so much of help.     I have a problem with onload event. My page have 4 iframes and the function from onload event is called 5 times ( one for body and 4 for iframes ). I want only 1 time ( from main body ). Try with srcElement and target property from windows.event but no result... Is there a way to stop onload when iframes load?

  • mootools event listener disappears after element.innerHTML is changed

    I putting together a page that will display a set of stored values. I am using mootools and AJAX calls to update the values without needing to refresh the page each time the user selects a new item from the drop down menus. the HTML each line looks something like: <div class="selections"> <input class="checkbox selector" type="checkbox" CHECKED /> <span class="b_name"> <select class="b_n selector"> <!-- options --> </select> </span> <span class="b_level"> <select class="b_l selector"> <!-- options --> </select> </span> <span class="values"> <!-- the values --> </span> In the head I have set up an event listener like: $$('.selector').addEvent('change', function(event){changeValues(this);}); My problem is that when the "b_name" select changes I have to update the list of options in the "b_level" select. I accomplish that by getting a list of the possible options from my database through a php script on another page and replacing "b_level"'s innerHTML. Once I do that, the event listener attached to "b_l selector" no longer works. I tried to resolve this issue by explicitly attaching an event listener to "b_l selector" each time "b_name" changes like so: row.getElement('.b_l').addEvent('change', function(event){changeValues(row.getElement('.b_l'));}); where 'row' is the html element 'div.selections'. It still isn't working and I have no idea what's going on. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to how I can get this resolved? or perhaps a better way to do what I'm doing. Thanks

  • OutputPath ignored on projects being build by TFS 2010

    I have installed TFS2010 Beta 2 with default settings and configured a CI build with a solution containing the indivial projects. My *.cspoj files could have: <OutputPath>bin\debug\</OutputPath> Or alternatively: <OutDir>bin\debug\</OutDir> When the build server is done building and running tests etc. all the assemblies are placed in the root of the build drop off folder. How do I configure the build to keep the outputpath or outdir in my projects and store the assemblies and content in the matching folder structure( builddropfolder\bin\debug\ )? I have found a number of post on this most of them relates to TFS 2008 but I have not found solutions for TFS 2010. Perhaps it is possible to solve this in the new workflow file for the buildserver?

  • TeamCity's build agent unable to find PowerShell

    I have TC's build agent installed on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Core. The server has PowerShell 2.0 installed (double checked, and actually from PS downloaded the TC installation). Looking at some build configuration I see these being incompatible with this agent, because powershell_x86/powershell_x64 is required. I tried deleting build agents dirs to force upgrade, but no luck. Interestingly if I provide powershell_x86, powershell_x86_Path (and for 64bit) variables into config file manually, everything runs fine. Is there anything I can do to have the build agent find PowerShell automatically? What/where is it looking for it? Maybe the 'Core' is problem.

  • In CQRS (event-sourced), do you need a global sequence counter in the event store?

    In trying to get my head around CQRS (and DDD in general) I have come across situations when two events occur on different aggregates but the order of them has domain meaning. If so then they could happen so close together that a timestamp (as used by the sample implementations I have seen) cannot differentiate them, meaning the event store doesn't contain a 'complete' representation of the domain as there is ambiguity over the order in which events occurred. As an example, the domain could fire a CustomerCreatedEvent which applies to the Customer aggregate, and then a CustomerAssignedToAgent event on the Agent aggregate. The CustomerAssignedToAgent event doesn't make sense if it occurs before the CustomerCreatedEvent, but typically both of these might be fired as a result of one operation which makes it likely that the timestamps would effectively be the same. So am I just modelling things badly? Should there ever be a situation where the sequence of events across different aggregates is important? Or should you keep a global sequence number on your event store, so that you can identify the exact sequence in which events occurred?

  • Webkit ondrop event while dragging

    I'm trying to drag one img and so it fires ondragenter for IE and dragover event for standard browsers, on IE and FF after the user drags it could fire ondrop event however on Webkit based (chrome and safari), i need to cancel or preventDefault() on the dragover event, doing that so will disable the dragging.   • Can't select anything for build definition process tab

    I am trying to create a build definition, specified the build definition name inside the General tab, specified the trigger, the workspace, the build controller that I want to use, the drop folder as a network shared location, the retention policy but when I go to the Process tab I can't select anything. Does anyone knows why I can't select anything inside the Process tab, it looks like it is not enabled, can't press Show details because is not enabled. Thanks!

    We are planning to start a fairly complex web-portal which is expected to attract good local traffic and I've been told by my boss to consider/analyse node.js for the serve side. I think scalability and multi-core support can be handled with an Nginx or Cherokee up in the front. 1) Is this node.js ready for some serious/big business? 2) Does this 'event/asynchronous' paradigm on server side has the potential to support the heavy traffic and data operation ? considering the fact that 'everything' is being processed in a single thread and all the live connections would be lost if it got crashed (though its easy to restart). 3) What are the advantages of event based programming compared to thread based style ? or vice-versa. (I know of higher cost associated with thread switching but hardware can be squeezed with event model.)   • error handling with .post()

    I have to modify a project written by someone else. Because the code is a mess i can't really change this $.post() (or replace it by $.ajax()). What i need to do, is to know if the post returns something else then json and return it. $.post('balbal.html', json, function(data) { ... my coude ... }, 'json') I can see the post response i the console.log. Is there a simple way to retrieve it?
