  Hello, I am using: ubuntu 10.4 2.6.32-21-generic Evolution 2.83.3 I have noticed that when I get a new email, it never shows a new mail icon in the panel. I had the same problem with 9.10, and I thought the problem would go away when I upgraded to 10.4.   Hello, I'm on shared hosting and today i discovered there are some backdoor script.. in .htaccess and a php file. So i went to check via FTP, cannot edit nor delete. So i checked with direct admin.. the file permission(GUID, UID) is set by APACHE while rest of file is set by my username, So my question now is.. the trojan did this is originated from my computer or host side?

  Hello all, I'm using Windows Vista, and I was wondering if I can put shortcuts for applications.Like for example, if I press a certain combination of keys I get notepad, or something like that. If those shortcuts were already there, how can I know them? • Trying to install an old program on Windows XP and getting an error message

  Hello I'm trying to install an older application named headline.exe. I'm getting an error message saying the the program has to end and asking if I want to notify Microsoft. The event logs says "Faulting application _untitled.exe version 1.0.0.1591, faulting module flash6.ocx, version 6.0.88.0, fault address blah blah blah.   Hello, I'm settings up nginx to serve Mercurial repositories. It works when not using basic authentication at all, or when I use basic authentication all over. What I want to do is to just use basic auth on POST requests, so anyone have pull access, but only authenticated users can push. I tried the following, if ($request_method = POST) { auth_basic "Restricted"; auth_basic_user_file /path/to/userfile } However it complains about "auth_basic directive is not allowed here". How can I solve this?

• Access the partition where I installed Wubi in Ubuntu

  Hello there, I recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS through Wubi on Windows XP. I installed it in a partition (say J:) and the installation went fine. I can access my other NTFS partitions directly in Ubuntu without any problem. But lately I just figured that I could not see my J: partition (where I installed Wubi) in my Ubuntu. I need to access it badly. Any idea?
