• VS2010 Load Testing - Restricting ports

  As per the trouble shooting guide for VS2010 Load Testing (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vststest/thread/df043823-ffcf-46a4-9e47-1c4b8854ca13), I'm trying to restrict the range of ports used for client-controller communication. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\VisualStudio\10.0\EnterpriseTools\QualityTools\ListenPortRange\PortRangeStart HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\VisualStudio\10.0\EnterpriseTools\QualityTools\ListenPortRange\PortRangeEnd I've set these keys on the client as described but according to netstat the client is still listening on random ports. The controller is attempting to communicate on the same random ports as the client. Anyone experienced the same?

  I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

This question seems has a solution with selenium, but I can't figure out how to call the selenium object using Capybara. Is there a simple way to test for alerts using Capybara?   I was just about to test my app on a device when I ran into this problem, I'm getting this Linker Error. I've already checked all my compile sources and Build Phases, but there's no sign of my importing things twice. ld: duplicate symbol _calculateNextSearchPage in /Users/wouter/Sites/test/FastPdfKit.embeddedframework/FastPdfKit.framework/FastPdfKit(FastPdfKit) and /Users/wouter/Sites/test/FastPdfKit.embeddedframework/FastPdfKit.framework/FastPdfKit(FastPdfKit) for architecture armv7 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) This only happens when testing on a device, not in the simulator.

  I have seen yahoo ui using div for every node of the tree. Is this a good thing to do. Seems like every node including leaf node is heavily nested.
