Right now I have a function that finds all links to PDF files (i.e. the href ends with '.pdf') and appends the string '[pdf]' to the innerText.   GoogleAppEngineLauncher can display the local log file of my app while it is running on my Mac during development. However, I can't change the font size there so I would like to use the tail command to watch the log file myself. It's a shame but I can't find the log files. They are not under /var/log/, ~/Library/Logs or /Library/Logs. Do you know where they are?

  I'm a newbie android programmer and I recently followed a tutorial which shows how to create a local SQLite database by using SQLiteDatabase.rawQuery to return a Cursor. I would like to modify my app to use CursorLoader which is apparently a better way to access the database. My problem is the CursorLoader constructor expects a URI to be given. Do I just input "file:///[path to db]"? Seems a bit messy.

  I'm using yahoo local search in an iPhone app and trying to query everything in a certain location. According to the api docs you can pass "*" to query and it will return everything. I've tried passing it several different ways, including the way below but it does not work unless I actually pass it a real query.   I know at some point I'd come across a Google service built into their API that would provide local information as markers on the viewport (schools, hospitals, etc.)-- I believe this was a simple control that could be added just like the normal map controls, to allow users to turn it on or off with a checkbox or button.
