    Im trying to force my phone to go to sleep as soon as i turn my screen off, but whenever i install with adb, packagemanager informs me that it wont grant the permission i need, so my service throws an exception. I was able to install another app called power save mode toggle which has the same permission, and it seems to work, so i should be able to get this to work, right?

They need to be on the same domain because since Im doing a JSON call, JSONP is not an option atm. I was thinking that my web would have the address http://example.cloudapp.net/, and my Web Service should have the address http://example.cloudapp.net/webservice/

  • How do i change the start in path of a shortcut for nsis?

    I have an nsis installer script for the application im working on and it can place a shortcut on the desktop and in the start menu folder but each shortcut has the wrong start in path and as such the app saves data files to where the short cut is. Is there an easy way to change the start in path as the documentation was less than helpful on the matter?     Hi everyone, Im having some trouble with an oracle database. Every time i try to connect, i get this message. ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress I searched the web, and found that the solution is to execute an alter database open command, but what I dont understand is where should i execute if, since I cant connect to the database.     Does anyone have any experience and/or tips wrt using Xcode to build winlib binaries on the Mac? As part of a Windows - Mac OS X crossplatform port i'm looking at an initial winelib port of the app before reworking the windowing to use Cocoa. None of the winelib tutorials ive seen so far mention anything other than command line builds using make files and winegcc, so Im wondering if its worth bothering at all trying to get an Xcode project built linking against winelib.

    Hi, I want to process raw data from a picture taken in java me with byte[] snap = videoControl.getSnapshot(encoding); My question is, whether I should try working already with snap or should I first create the image from this array Image im = Image.createImage(snap, 0, snap.length); and then work with that? Or is there some better documentation of both methods, i.e. getSnapshot and createImage than the Java API reference?
