• Codeigniter return config file as array with autoload enabled

  So I'm using CodeIgniter to build a website and I've made it so that all my specific settings are stored in a config file that's automatically loaded. I've also built a page that loads the settings file, makes a nice little table and allows me to edit everything from that page, afterwards it saves the entire page again (I know I could've done the same with a database but I want to try it this way). My problem is that I can't seem to use this bit when autoloading of my config file is enabled, but when I disable autoloading I can't seem to manually load it, it never finds my variables. • Is there a limit to how many sites can be hosted on a single IP address when using HTTP Host Headers on Windows 2008?

  For reasons that are lost in the mists of time, our older Windows (2000, 2003) servers have been configured with a "Administrative" IP address and three further "Hosting" IP addresses. There are also additional IP's for sites with SSL certificates. The "Administrative" IP address is where all our internal provisioning, monitoring and other such apps are bound to. We lock this down and don't permit access to it from the outside world (other than over our VPN). The three "Hosting" IP addresses are used for IIS website hosting (in conjunction with host headers). Historically, new site IP address allocations have been rotated through these three IP addresses. I'm not really sure why. I'm building a new batch of servers and I'm considering just having a single hosting IP address. Our servers can host up to 1200 sites on a single machine. Is there a technical limit to the number of IIS sites that can bind to a single IP address? Our Linux platform seems to do just fine with just a single shared IP + host headers. I initially thought this might be an SEO thing, but given that IPv4 address space conservation is paramount I hardly think Google or other search engines could reasonably penalise site rankings just because hundreds of sites hang off the same IP.

  I can use some help with an AVAudioPlayer issue. My App is basically an interactive audio book. The RootViewController is a UITableView using a drill-down approach sitting on top of a Navigation Controller. The first level are the Chapters and the second level are the Topics. Each Topic goes to an audio file which plays in a SoundPlayerViewController utilizing AVAudioPlayer - standard stuff. If the user leaves the SoundPlayer to browse Chapters and Topics with the Back button(s), the audio continues playing - this is good. If the user selects a new Topic, the current audio file stops and the new audio file begins playing - this is good. What I have not been able to figure out is how to allow the user to go back to the current SoundPlayer so they can rewind, pause or whatever. This is not so good. Any help with an approach or pointing to some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

• I'm trying to return text from a .txt file using ajax

  I'm trying to get my first ajax script to work. The five images are all side by side. Whenever the user hovers the mouse over any of them, it sends a request to a .txt file on the server and the caption is displayed in the div#image_caption. The problem is, even when I mouse over the image, the caption does not display. I'm not quite sure what could be causing this.   I have an abstract class Moveable with the method abstract void move() which is extended by the class Bullet and the abstract class Character, and Character is extended by the class Survivor and the class Zombie. In Survivor and Bullet the move() method doesnt require any parameters while in the class Zombie the move() method depends on the actual position of the survivor. The survivor and multiple zombies are created in the class Gui. I wanted to access the survivor in Zombie - what's the best way of doing this? In Gui i wrote a method getSurvivor() but i don't see how to access this method in Zombie? I am aware that as a workaround i could just pass a [Survivor survivor] as parameter in move() and ignore it in Bullet and Survivor, but that feels so ... bad practice.

  at the time of this question, if you go here: http://www.facebook.com/realplayer you'll see six posts down, I have posted a photo with a message of "#highfive Cincinnati, OH" but if you to either of these: http://graph.facebook.com/realplayer/feed http://graph.facebook.com/realplayer/tagged the JSON that is returned seemingly includes everything on the wall, except for MY post. there is another photo post from someone else down below mine, and it is showing up (and both my photo and his photo are in the "Fan photos" section) obviously, since I can see everything with these links already, it appears that access_token is not a part of the equation... BUT, some more info: if I use an access_token from a session that isn't me, I can't see the post in the JSON if I use an access_token from MY logged in session, then I DO see the post in the JSON so I'm very confused. if everyone in the world can see those posts on the wall without even authenticating, then I expect all of them to come back in the graph api as well. anyone have thoughts on this? I am aware of the "manage_page" permission... which I can use to get a list of accounts and special offline access tokens for those pages... and that's something I can explore... but it seems like alot of work when my post seemingly SHOULD be there in the graph

  Im pretty new to coding, heres my problem. Results->Text = "G55 > Y" + System::Convert::ToString(destY); "Results" is a System.Windows.Forms.Textbox "multiline btw", or so says VS. That line works fine, but i need a "new line or CR" at the end, so that i can repeat that line with different Literals and a different var in ToString. For days now ive tried different syntax's ive read about, and i cant get it to take any of them. Or even a complete different way to input text into Results-Text that would allow for tidy multiline use. Sidenote: since im using -Text and System::Convert::ToString in VC, would this code be considered just c++ or .net or CLI? to tighten my searches.

  I have a string in my code that I receive that contains some html tags. It is not part of the HTML page being displayed so I cannot grab the html tag contents using the DOM (i.e. document.getElementById('tag id').firstChild.data); So, for example within the string of text would appear a tag like this: 12 My question is how would I use a regular expression to access the '12' numeric digit in this example? This quantity could be any number of digits (i.e. it is not always a double digit). I have tried some regular expressions, but always end up getting the full span tag returned along with the contents. I only want the '12' in the example above, not the surrounding tag. The id of the tags will always be 'myQty' in the string of text I receive. Thanks in advance for any help!

• In SQL can I return a tables with a varying number of columns

  I have a somewhat more complicated scenario, but I think it should be possible. I have a large SPROC whose result is a set of characteristics for a set of persons. So the Table would look something like this: Property | Client1 Client 2 Client3 ----------------------------------------------------------- Sex | M F M Age | 67 56 67 Income | Low Mid Low It's built using cursors, iterating over different datasets. The problem I am facing is that there is a varying number of Clients and Properties, so an equally valid result over different input sets might be: Property | Client1 Client 2 ------------------------------------------- Sex | M F Age | 67 56 Weight | 122 122 The different number of properties is easy, those are just extra rows. My problem is that I need to declare a temporary table with a varying number of columns. There could be 2 clients or 100. Every client in guaranteed to have every property ultimately listed. What SQL structure would statisfy this and how can I declare it and insert things into it? I can't just flip the columns and rows either because there is a variable number of each.
