    I have a search on my php page and it is ok. With my search result, I highlighted the string target on my content. $search_tag_text = @preg_replace("/($mysearch)/i", "<u style=\"color:red\">$1</u>", $row->txtContent); Ok, but is it possible, after having found a string target on my content, to show 20 words before and 20 words after, instead listing all my content? Any help will be appreciated.

    how to put folder of vbulletin and modify .htaccess file in cake PHP in purpose use them in same session ? if it possible, plz help me by post the way to put the folder vbulletin in order request access from localhost/forum or localhost/app_name/forum? I am tried to install vbullentin in webroot and modify .htaccess. It can access from localhost/forum ( app cake can access from http://localhost ) but both couldnt share session .

    I'm an intermediate C developer, trying to get better. I want to make a very basic and lightweight HTTP server with its own scripting language. Could I use something like Lua for scripting? If not, what? I don't want to use CGI/FastCGI like Apache does for PHP in most cases, I want my server to natively support my scripting language.

    even with a piece of code like this $.get('getforums.php', function(data) { alert(data); }); works well in chrome, firefox, safari, opera but not this baby. tried everything, cleared cache, recreate this file in different editor, even make this file just echoed a 's', but no, it just don't like this file, works perfect on other file thanks for the help!

    I'm running on an OS X environment and would like to create a flexible web development environment locally... including the option to run on an Nginx server for my PHP-based application. At the end of the day (or, development cycle), I'd like to be able to hit a switch and have it all sync over to Amazon AWS hosting (EC2, S3) - instances, databases, files, configurations, and all. Are there any simple ways to do this?

Magento ver. 1.6.2.0 I have all required extensions..curl mcrypt etc. Windows 7 with wampserver 2.2 mysql 5.5 php 5.3 apache 2.2.21 Whenever I try and install an extension from magento connect it starts saying: checking on dependencies..then apache restarts with...     One of the downsides of web.config/app.config is that it's just Magic Strings everywhere, since it's just an XML file. Interpreted languages like PHP or Ruby have the advantage that the configuration is just code that is executed. In .net, doing stuff in code requires a redeployment, which defeats the purpose. Now, before I build my own web.config replacement based on Boo or PowerShell I wanted to know if there is an existing one?

What I want is that, when an item selected in the "category" list, everything in the "items" list from that category is also selected. For example, if "Categories" contains "Animal", "Mineral", and "Vegetable", and "Items" contains "Dog", "Cat", "Monkey", "Diamond", "Granite", "Carrot", "Tomato": If "Animal" is selected in one list, "Dog", "Cat", and "Monkey" should be selected; any other selections should remain as they are. Now here's the part that I'm having trouble with: How can this be done with 1 call to the database? I'm sure I could do it with a simple select statement and then have PHP make the array look like this but I'm hoping this can be done with some kind of fancy db joining or something like that. Any takers?

  • Adobe Air: Is it possible to save files to a network path (osx)

    I was wondering if it would be possible to write a file, not to the local system, but to a connected server or other network path. Would i have to use an external php interface for this or can i entrust this to the AIR framework? I'm pretty sure that AIR has certain security precautions to prevent this. Thanks a bunch! Regards
