• Rewrite URLs for DNN

  I have a site and already trying to do a little url rewritting but want to know if there is a solution to make it better my current state urls look like this http://snit.us/Home/tabid/314/CN/1/RE/23/United_States_Missouri.aspx I want to change them to something more ordered so in my new scheme i want to do this http://snit.us/Home/United_States/Missouri/default.aspx obviously the point is that if i remove missouri from the new url it would find all United_States - etc etc etc even better would be to have http://snit.us/Home/United_States/Missouri so its even less cluttered

  I am installing gems in my Gemfile in shared path as Capistrano does by default, and when I run: bundle exec rake assets:precompile RAILS_ENV=production I get: You have already activated rake 0.9.2.2, but your Gemfile requires rake 10.0.4. Using bundle exec may solve this. • Qt4Dotnet on Mac OS X

  Hello everyone. I'm using Qt4Dotnet project in order to port application originally written in C# on Linux and Mac. Port to Linux hasn't taken much efforts and works fine. But Mac (10.4 Tiger) is a bit more stubborn. The problem is: when I try to start my application it throws an exception. Exception states that com.trolltech.qt.QtJambi_LibraryInitializer is unable to find all necessary ibraries. QtJambi library initializer uses java.library.path VM environment variable. This variable includes current working directory. I put all necessary libraries in a working directory. When I try to run the application from MonoDevelop IDE, initializer is able to load one library, but the other libraries are 'missing': An exception was thrown by the type initializer for com.trolltech.qt.QtJambi_LibraryInitializer --- java.lang.RuntimeException: Loading library failed, progress so far: No 'qtjambi-deployment.xml' found in classpath, loading libraries via 'java.library.path' Loading library: 'libQtCore.4.dylib'... - using 'java.library.path' - ok, path was: /Users/chin/test/bin/Debug/libQtCore.4.dylib Loading library: 'libqtjambi.jnilib'... - using 'java.library.path' Both libQtCore.4.dylib and libqtjambi.jnilib are in the same directory. When I try to run it from the command prompt, the initializer is unable to load even libQtCore.4.dylib. I'm using Qt4Dotnet v4.5.0 (currently the latest) with QtJambi v4.5.2 libraries. This might be the source of the problem, but I'm neither able to compile Qt4Dotnet v4.5.2 by myself nor to find QtJambi v4.5.0 libraries. Project's page states that some sort of patch should be applied to QtJambi's source code in order to be compatible with Mono framework, but this patch hasn't been released yet. Without this patch application crashes in a strange manner (other than library seek fault). I must note that original QtJambi loads all necessary libraries perfectly, so it might be issues of IKVM compiler used to translate QtJambi into .Net library. Any suggestions how can I overcome this problem?

I am curious what library is recommended for this, aswell as how shall I be doing the apache2 config file ? • Remove extra junk from C proprocessor?

  I'm trying to use the C proprocessor on non-C code, and it works fine except for creating lines like this at the top: # 1 "test.java" # 1 "<built-in>" # 1 "<command-line>" # 1 "test.java" The problem is that these lines aren't valid in Java. Is there any way to get the preprocessor to not write this stuff? I'd prefer not to have to run this through something else to just remove the first 4 lines every time.

  I am having trouble creating a different image to appear when you place your curser over the original image. EDIT: Okay great suggestions, however when I hover over the "home button" now the stuff in the float tweeks out. • Sourcing a shell script, while running with sudo

  I would like to write a shell script that sets up a mercurial repository, and allow all users in the group "developers" to execute this script. The script is owned by the user "hg", and works fine when ran. The problem comes when I try to run it with another user, using sudo, the execution halts with a "permission denied" error, when it tries to source another file. The script file in question: create_repo.sh #!/bin/bash source colors.sh REPOROOT="/srv/repository/mercurial/" ... rest of the script ....   I'm trying to set the Default URL of my MVC application to a view within an area of my application. The area is called "Common", the controller "Home" and the view "Index". I've tried setting the defaultUrl in the forms section of web.config to "~/Common/Home/Index" with no success. I've also tried mapping a new route in global.asax, thus: routes.MapRoute( "Area", "{area}/{controller}/{action}/{id}", new { area = "Common", controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = "" } ); Again, to no avail.

  I am trying to run a batch file. the file is located here: C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\getfile.bat I use this in oracle forms 6i: first i assign this path to a variable: tmp_msg := 'C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\getfile.bat' then I use the host command: host( 'cmd /c' || tmp_msg, no_screen); This is exactly as I have it. It doesn't give me an error, but I don't get the result that I'm expecting. I'm actually executing java code in the batch file like so: java -classpath path;addedpackage.jar myClass I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you.

Html.ActionLink("About", "About", "Home") it renders a link to http://test.domain.com/Test/Home/About -- which gives a 404 the link should be .. http://test.domain.com/Home/About is there a way to override ActionLink to omit the /Test on render?   I'm a Micorsoft .NET developer. My employer gave me MSDN Subscription. I need to download Windows 7 (My subscription says I can download it), I want to download it to my home PC, and use it. At work we do not use Windows 7. I do lot of .NET development work using my home PC but not directly work related (Even though the experience I gain assist work related activities). • htaccess redirect any urls ending in .php to index

  I've set up my .htaccess so far as follows: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?page=$1 [QSA] My index.php loads the file from /pages, eg. index.php?page=home will load the page content from pages/home.php However - if someone went to pages/home.php the page loads without the headers etc. which is undesirable. What can I add to redirect any URLs ending in .php to just take the user to the homepage? Thanks

  We are planning to upgrade from Oracle 9.2.0.7 to 9.2.0.8. Main reason of the proposed upgrade is to address the issue in relation to exception "terminated with error: ORA-00904: "T2"."SYS_DS_ALIAS_4": invalid identifier" when we try to execute DBMS_STATS.GATHER_SCHEMA_STATS. We are concerned that the proposed upgrade may have negative impact on our Java application or in the worst case may not even support by our Java application. What are the possible approaches or strategies that we can take to ensure the upgrade from Oracle 9.2.0.7 to 9.2.0.8 will not have adverse impact on our Java application or will not cause our Java application to function incorrectly. Essentially we just want to confirm that our application will still support Oracle 9.2.0.8. Thank you.

• How can I change the Python that my Django project is using?

  I have 2 versions installed in my server. I used virtualenv to install Python 2.7. I am using WSGI to deploy my project. WSGIPythonPath /home/ENV/lib/python2.7/site-packages WSGIScriptAlias / /var/www/html/my_project/wsgi.py My http.conf is like that. python -V gives Python 2.7.3 But in my projects Debug window, it says Django is using 2.6.8. Where am I wrong?
