    - by battousai622
    I want to create a function so that i can call add JLabel's, etc inside the JScrollPanel. I am not sure what the command is in NetBeans. I tried doing JScrollPanel - events - container - componentAdded to create the code below. But nothing shows up when i add code to that function. private void initComponents() { scrollPanel = new javax.swing.JScrollPane(); scrollPanel.addContainerListener(new java.awt.event.ContainerAdapter() { public void componentAdded(java.awt.event.ContainerEvent evt) { scrollPanelComponentAdded(evt); } } private void scrollPanelComponentAdded(java.awt.event.ContainerEvent evt) { System.out.println("main"); } Any help would be great, thanks.

    - by Keene Maverick
    I swear, I have this exact thing working on another page. I'm such a javascript noob it's embarrassing... function delete_gallery() { var gallery = document.getElementById('gallery_id').value; var form = document.getElementById('gallery_form'); form.setAttribute('action', 'index.php?action=delete&section=galleries&id='+gallery); document.forms['gallery_form'].submit(); } Inspecting the element shows that it's updating the action correctly : <form method="post" action="index.php?action=delete&amp;section=galleries&amp;id=12" name="gallery_form" id="gallery_form"><input type="hidden" value="12" id="gallery_id" name="gallery_id"><p>Name: <input type="text" name="name" value="Woo"></p><p>Description:<br><textarea name="description">Dee</textarea><input type="hidden" value="2" name="artist"></p><p><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submit"> </p></form> Here's the button I use to call the function, it's in a table below the form: <button onclick="delete_gallery()" type="button">Delete Gallery</button>

  • How to use YT thumb in plugin

    - by Frank Morrison
    I'm using two plugins on my wordpress site: Auto post youtube Pulls a youtube video then drafts it for me. I use this on my index page beside the post code and the thumbnail appears great: <?php tern_wp_youtube_image(); ?> Top Ten Which I use to display the most viewed posts on a page. Not looking great at the moment, but will fix styling later. This is the code to display popular posts: <?php if(function_exists('tptn_show_pop_posts')) tptn_show_pop_posts(); ?> Is it possible for me to use the youtube image in the popular post function? Or is it because they are seperate they cannot work together without a lot of code? Thanks in advance! Some links incase anybody wants to check them out http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/top-10/ http://www.ternstyle.us/products/plugins/wordpress/wordpress-automatic-youtube-video-posts/wordpress-automatic-youtube-video-posts-functions

  • Proper use of use of "cor" function in R

    - by order
    I am interested to know what a proper x (vector matrix or data frame) input looks like. I am currently using the function in two different sorts of matrices. However, I am not sure how R would interpret my data the way I intend. I will explain the types of matrix by example. Type 1 Gene1 Gene2 Gene3 sample1 sample2 Type 2 Sample1 Sample2 Sample3 gene 1 gene 2 gene 3 Are either of these formats valid x parameters? I input both of types of matrices and get some results, but without knowing whether or not this a proper use the function, these are just random numbers. Thank you for your time. I apologize that this isn't more interesting.

  • MPI - passing function as a parameter

    - by Hmyzak
    Hi, is there any how how to pass function as a parameter when starting program in C? I am implementing app for integral aproximation, and all I need is to type a function I want to work with, when starting app. I tried (e.g.) 2/(2+2*x), but I only get back "2". When I write to application directly, there is no problem. Is there any simple way of getting this? Maybe redistribute it to more parametres? Like app.c number number*x number *x*x number *x*x*x... ? Thanks

Here is my jquery function : function display_form() { try { $('#start_date').val('2012/08/21'); }catch (e){ alert('error'); } window.alert( $('[name=start_date]').val() ); } This shows "undefined". Here is my form : <input id="start_date" name="start_date" type="text" size="6" /> Should I put somewhere the id of the form that I want to use? I just followed what is said in the documentation of jquery but it doesn't seem to work. Could anyone help me ?

  • Check for element equality in an animation function.

    - by Zardoz
    I have the the below code and would expect that in the first pass of the fadeTo function "yes" would be printed as those first two console logs tell me it is the same element. But it doesn't recognize them as equal. What do I miss here? var tds = self.element.find("td:nth-child(" + (columnIndex + 1) + ")"); tds.fadeTo(options.columnFadeOutTime, 0, function() { window.console.log(tds.first()); window.console.log($(this)); if ($(this) == tds.first()) { window.console.log("yes"); } else { window.console.log("no"); } }

  • Is call to function object inlined?

    - by dehmann
    In the following code, Foo::add calls a function via a function object: struct Plus { inline int operator()(int x, int y) const { return x + y; } }; template<class Fct> struct Foo { Fct fct; Foo(Fct f) : fct(f) {} inline int add(int x, int y) { return fct(x,y); // same efficiency adding directly? } }; Is this the same efficiency as calling x+y directly in Foo::add? In other words, does the compiler typically directly replace fct(x,y) with the actual call, inlining the code, when compiling with optimizations enabled?

  • Using jquery to disable function untill all selects are changed

    - by richbyte
    I am using a javascript function (F) (jquery )which uses 3 select values selected by the user to calculates a value - R(result) R is a number ranging from (1 through 9), (11) and (22); I need 2 extra steps one before the calculation and one after. a. Before calculation takes place: Make sure all three select values are changed before function(F) takes place. If not prompt the user with a notice ( create dom element/ I am using jquery) b. After the value R is calculated show an element corresponding to the result e.g. if R is 1 show an element ( a predetermined "link" element corresponding to each result value) thanks a lot.

    I have the following HTML and Javascript code. I am trying to make a search suggestion system. The list-items in the unordered-list 'search_suggest' are retrieved dynamically using ajax as the user types in the input box 'site_search' and inserted. <form name="search_site_form" method="get" action="search.php"> <input id="site_search" name="q" class="search_input input" autocomplete="off" value="Search the site" type="text"/> <ul id="search_suggest"> </ul> <input value=" " type="submit" class="search_submit"/> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- $("ul#search_suggest>li").click(function(){ alert('123'); }); //--> </script> </form> Clicking on the list items in search_suggest however is not triggering the click function.     - by C0de_Hard
    I am working on a code which requires a function. This function gets a string as input and returns a string. What I have planned so far is to get a str[], remove all $'s and spaces, and store this in another string which is returned later: char *getstring(char str[]) { int i=0; char rtn[255]; while (i<strlen(str)) { if (str[i] != " " || str[i] != "$" ) rtn[i] = str[i]; else rtn[i] = ''; } return str; } I dont feel like this will work. Any ideas?? :-S

  • Notepad++ or other application to replace string with numeric function

    - by user38963
    Hello. I am using Notepad++ and attempting to replace all numeric strings within a specific tag (xxxxof my XML document with a new string which has been modified by a specific variable. Here's an example (please remove the space between < and start): < start501234< /start round(501234 * 0.9) = 451111 < start451111< /start Is there a way to automatically find all numeric values within the start tag and do replace it by that same value multiplied by 0.9? I don't have to use Notepad++ if there's another tool that can do this. Thanks!

  • How to call C++ function from C?

    - by claws
    I know this. Calling C function from C++: If my application was in C++ and I had to call functions from a library written in C. Then I would have used //main.cpp extern "C" void C_library_function(int x, int y);//prototype C_library_function(2,4);// directly using it. This wouldn't mangle the name C_library_function and linker would find the same name in its input *.lib files and problem is solved. Calling C++ function from C??? But here I'm extending a large application which is written in C and I need to use a library which is written in C++. Name mangling of C++ is causing trouble here. Linker is complaining about the unresolved symbols. Well I cannot use C++ compiler over my C project because thats breaking lot of other stuff. What is the way out? By the way I'm using MSVC
