Import the certificate/s required for establishing the trust with the Store(backend) in the keystore(cacerts) on the machine hosting OAM's Weblogic Admin server Restart the Weblogic Admin server Specify the <Hostname>:<SSL port> in the "Location" field of the Data Store and select the "Enable SSL" checkbox Pre-requisite:- Certificate/s to be imported are available for import Data Store has already been created using OAM admin console and the connection to the store is successful on non-SSL port( though one can always create a Data Store with SSL settings on the first go) Steps for importing the certificate/s:- One can use the keytool utility that comes bundled with JDK to import the certificate. The step for importing the certificate would be same for self-signed and third party certificates (like VeriSign) $JAVA_HOME/bin/keytool -import -v -noprompt -trustcacerts -alias <aliasname> -file <Path to the certificate file> -keystore $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts Here $JAVA_HOME refers to the path of JDK install directory Note: In case multiple certificates are required for establishing the trust, import all those certificates using the same keytool command mentioned above  One can verify the import of the certificate/s by using the below mentioned command $JAVA_HOME/bin/keytool -list -alias <aliasname>-v -keystore $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts When the trust gets established for the SSL communication, specifying the SSL specific settings in the Data Store (via OAM admin console) wouldn't result into the previously seen error (when Certificates are yet to be imported) and the "Test Connection" would be successful.

• Security Controls on data for P6 Analytics

  The Star database and P6 Analytics calculates security based on P6 security using OBS, global, project, cost, and resource security considerations. If there is some concern that users are not seeing expected data in P6 Analytics here are some areas to review: 1. Determining if a user has cost security is based on the Project level security privileges - either View Project Costs/Financials or Edit EPS Financials. If expecting to see costs make sure one of these permissions are allocated.  2. User must have OBS access on a Project. Not WBS level. WBS level security is not supported. Make sure user has OBS on project level.  3. Resource Access is determined by what is granted in P6. Verify the resource access granted to this user in P6. Resource security is hierarchical. Project access will override Resource access based on the way security policies are applied. 4. Module access must be given to a P6 user for that user to come over into Star/P6 Analytics. For earlier version of RDB there was a report_user_flag on the Users table. This flag field is no longer used after P6 Reporting Database 2.1. 5. For P6 Reporting Database versions 2.2 and higher, the Extended Schema Security service must be run to calculate all security. Any changes to privileges or security this service must be rerun before any ETL. 6. In P6 Analytics 2.0 or higher, a Weblogic user must exist that matches the P6 username. For example user Tim must exist in P6 and Weblogic users for Tim to be able to log into P6 Analytics and access data based on  P6 security.  In earlier versions the username needed to exist in RPD. 7. Cache in OBI is another area that can sometimes make it seem a user isn't seeing the data they expect. While cache can be beneficial for performance in OBI. If the data is outdated it can retrieve older, stale data. Clearing or turning off cache when rerunning a query can determine if the returned result set was from cache or from the database.

• Fast programmatic compare of "timetable" data

  Consider train timetable data, where each service (or "run") has a data structure as such: public class TimeTable { public int Id {get;set;} public List<Run> Runs {get;set;} } public class Run { public List<Stop> Stops {get;set;} public int RunId {get;set;} } public class Stop { public int StationId {get;set;} public TimeSpan? StopTime {get;set;} public bool IsStop {get;set;} } We have a list of runs that operate against a particular line (the TimeTable class). Further, whilst we have a set collection of stations that are on a line, not all runs stop at all stations (that is, IsStop would be false, and StopTime would be null). Now, imagine that we have received the initial timetable, processed it, and loaded it into the above data structure. Once the initial load is complete, it is persisted into a database - the data structure is used only to load the timetable from its source and to persist it to the database. We are now receiving an updated timetable. The updated timetable may or may not have any changes to it - we don't know and are not told whether any changes are present. What I would like to do is perform a compare for each run in an efficient manner. I don't want to simply replace each run. Instead, I want to have a background task that runs periodically that downloads the updated timetable dataset, and then compares it to the current timetable. If differences are found, some action (not relevant to the question) will take place. I was initially thinking of some sort of checksum process, where I could, for example, load both runs (that is, the one from the new timetable received and the one that has been persisted to the database) into the data structure and then add up all the hour components of the StopTime, and all the minute components of the StopTime and compare the results (i.e. both the sum of Hours and sum of Minutes would be the same, and differences introduced if a stop time is changed, a stop deleted or a new stop added). Would that be a valid way to check for differences, or is there a better way to approach this problem? I can see a problem that, for example, one stop is changed to be 2 minutes earlier, and another changed to be 2 minutes later would have a net zero change. Or am I over thinking this, and would it just be simpler to brute check all stops to ensure that The updated run stops at the same stations; and Each stop is at the same time

  Almost all mobile apps need access to external data to be valuable. With a huge amount of existing business data residing in Microsoft SQL Server databases, and an ever-increasing drive to make more and more available to mobile users, how do you marry the rather separate worlds of Microsoft's SQL Server and Apple's iOS devices? The classic answer: write a web service layer Look at any of the questions on this topic asked in Internet discussion forums, and you'll inevitably see the answer, "just write a web service and use that!". But what does this process gain? For a well-designed database with a solid security model, and business logic in the database, writing a custom web service on top of this just to access some of the data from a different platform seems inefficient and unnecessary. Desktop applications interact with the SQL Server directly - why should mobile apps be any different? The better answer: the iSql SDK Working along the lines of "if you do something more than once, make it shared," we set about coming up with a better solution for the general case. And so the iSql SDK was born: sitting between SQL Server and your iOS apps, it provides the simple API you're used to if you've been developing desktop apps using the Microsoft SQL Native Client. It turns out a web service remained a sensible idea: HTTP is much more suited to the Big Bad Internet than SQL Server's native TDS protocol, removing the need for complex configuration, firewall configuration, and the like. However, rather than writing a web service for every app that needs data access, we made the web service generic, serving only as a proxy between the SQL Server and a client library integrated into the iPhone or iPad app. This client library handles all the network communication, and provides a clean API. OSQL in 25 lines of code As an example of how to use the API, I put together a very simple app that allowed the user to enter one or more SQL statements, and displayed the results in a rather primitively formatted text field. • DataBinding a dictionary to a combobox in WPF.

  I have a Dictionary which is binded to a combobox. I have used dictionary to provide spaces in enum. public enum Option {Enter_Value, Select_Value}; Dictionary<Option,string> Options; <ComboBox x:Name="optionComboBox" SelectionChanged="optionComboBox_SelectionChanged" SelectedValuePath="Key" DisplayMemberPath="Value" SelectedItem="{Binding Path = SelectedOption}" ItemsSource="{Binding Path = Options}" /> This works fine. My queries: 1. I am not able to set the initial value to a combo box. In above XAML snippet the line SelectedItem="{Binding Path = SelectedOption}" is not working. I have declared SelectOption in my viewmodel. This is of type string and I have intialized this string value in my view model as below: SelectedOption = Options[Options.Enter_Value].ToString(); 2. I want if user selects Options.Enter_Value from the combo box , the combo box becomes editable and user can enter the numeric value in it. If user selects the second option Options.Select_Value then a dialog is poped up which allows user to select the predifined values. And the combo box becomes read only and shows the selected value. Please Help!!

  I have a wsf service and a client application. While trying to communicate the client and the service I've gotten the following message: "The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter http://tempuri.org/:blob. The InnerException message was 'There was an error deserializing the object of type FileBlob. The maximum array length quota (16384) has been exceeded while reading XML data. This quota may be increased by changing the MaxArrayLength property on the XmlDictionaryReaderQuotas object used when creating the XML reader. Line 1, position 25931.'. Please see InnerException for more details." I have the customBinding element and it doesn't allow me to insert "readerQuotas" section. I haven't seen enough Silverlight yet and I cannot find a close enough example that it makes sense to me.

  Hi I can't get my WCF service to work with more than one http binding. In IIS 7 I have to bindings http:/service and http:/service.test both at port 80 In my web.config I have added the baseAddressPrefixFilters but I can't add more than one <serviceHostingEnvironment> <baseAddressPrefixFilters> <add prefix="http://service"/> <add prefix="http://service.test"/> </baseAddressPrefixFilters> </serviceHostingEnvironment> This gives almost the same error "This collection already contains an address with scheme http. There can be at most one address per scheme in this collection. " as if no filers were specified at all (This collection already contains an address with scheme http. There can be at most one address per scheme in this collection. Parameter name: item) If I add only one filter then the service works but only responds on the added filter address. I've also tried with specifing multiple endpoints like (and only one filter): <endpoint address="http://service.test" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IService" /> <endpoint address="http://service" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IService" /> Then still only the address also specified in the filter works and the other returns this error: Server Error in Application "ISPSERVICE" HTTP Error 400.0 - Bad Request Regards Morten

• Show WPF tooltip on disabled item only

  Just wondering if it is possible to show a WPF on a disabled item ONLY (and not when the item is enabled). I would like to give the user a tooltip explaining why an item is currently disabled. I have an IValueConverter to invert the boolean IsEnabled property binding. But it doesn't seem to work in this situation. The tooltip is show both when the item is enabled and disabled. So is is possible to bind a tooltip.IsEnabled property exclusively to an item's own !IsEnabled? • AdornedElement Properties in a Trigger

  I have an Adorner in XAML that I'm using for ErrorValidation. Basically I have a grid that I want to display on two conditions (if the "AdornedElement" IsFocused or IsMouseOver). Below is a code snippet where I'm binding - successfully - to the IsFocused of the AdornedElement, but as you can tell that only solves 1/2 the conditions. Now I can't pass another binding into the converter, nor can I create a property that handles both (needs to be XAML only solution). <AdornedElementPlaceholder x:Name="errorAdorner" /> ... <Grid x:Name="ErrorDetails" Visibility="{Binding ElementName=errorAdorner, Path=AdornedElement.IsFocused, Converter={StaticResource BooleanToVisibilityConverter}}" /> ... What I want to do is use triggers to handle this, the only problem is I can't access the AdornedElement's properties on a trigger. Something like this ... <Trigger SourceName="errorAdorner" Property="AdornedElement.IsFocused" Value="True"> <Setter TargetName="ErrorDetails" Property="Visibility" Value="Visible" /> </Trigger> This would also help as part of what I want to do is trigger animations, rather than just setting the visibility. • Using Array Controllers to restrict the view in one popup depending on the selection in another. Not

  I am working on an app that is not core data based - the data feed is a series of web services. Two arrays are created from the data feed. The first holds season data, each array object being an NSDictionary. Two of the NSDictionary entries hold the data to be displayed in the popup ('seasonName') and an id ('seasonID') that acts as a pointer (in an external table) by matches defined for that season. The second array is also a collection of NSDictionaries. Two of the entries hold the data to be displayed in the popup ('matchDescription') and the id ('matchSeasonId') that points to the seasonId defined in the NSDictionaries in first array. I have two NSPopUps. I want the first to display the season names and the second to display the matches defined for that season, depending on the selection in the first. I'm new at bindings, so excuse me if I've missed something obvious. I've tried using ArrayControllers as follows: SeasonsArrayController: content bound to appDelegate seasonsPopUpArrayData. seasonsPopup: content bound to SeasonsArrayController.arrangedObjects; content value bound to SeasonsArrayController.arrangedObjects.seasonName I see the season names fine. I can obviously follow a similar route to see the matches, but I then see them all, instead of restricting the list to the matches for the season highlighted. All the tutorials I can find seem to revolve around core data and utilise the relationships defined therein. I don't have that luxury here. Any help very gratefully received.

• https not working... binding set, certificate installed

  I've installed the certificate and set the https bindings. However, when I load the site on https it does not load. I've looked at all the settings but everything seems correct. I've restarted the site numerous times. The certificate is stored on the local computer under personal-certificates... I have the private key for the certificate. The port (443) is open. If I try https://localhost on the server, the site loads... but with a domain error (i.e. it's localhost and not thedomain.com). But https://thedomain.com doesn't load. I really don't know why the https url isn't loading... anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

• Files missing after copying from one sdcard to another using Ubuntu 12.04

  I have two Kingston sdcards 8GB and 32GB. The 8GB for HTC Sensation and 32GB for my Tablet (Chinese). I soon ran out of space on my phone and decided to swap the data between the sdcards. I copied the data of 32GB sdcard to my PC(with Ubuntu 12.04) deleted everything on the 32GB sdcard and copied data from the 8GB sdcard to the other sdcard. At last I copied the data from my PC to the 8GB sdcard(before this I deleted everything that was on it before). Now the problem is that the 8GB sdcard has the data exactly the same, but the 32GB sdcard has some missing data. All my photos(not copied or posted on Facebook) and Songs are lost. Please help as to what I can do to get my data back? I have Android Revolution HD (ICS 4.0.3) on my rooted HTC Sensation (India). I suspect it has something to do with my data loss.

We have one application in particular that gives us an error: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. bind Port 10001 Are there any other ports that can only be used at one time that might have an adverse effect on the other user? We try to mentor our users to use the log off function instead of switch user, but that doesn't always happen. As an alternative, is it possible to disable the 'switch user' button on our machines?

• Windows 7 explorer always crashes, opens small "Personalized Settings" window

  My Windows 7 desktop PC, built by me, started acting very weird in the last couple of days. I use it quite often, about half of the time through TeamViewer. Explorer would crash and restart randomly, almost always through TeamViewer. This made me suspect that TeamViewer was the problem but I have reproduced it with and without TeamViewer several times. The only way I can seem to get the problem not to occur is by booting into Safe Mode. I have used CCleaner and Malwarebytes to make sure it wasn't a registry error or malware causing the problem, and I have tried the fix in the seemly related issue here as well every other fix I have found online including removing security updates KB980408 and KB2926765 as well as using "sfc /scannow" and a bunch of other things I can't remember. More recently when I try to start explorer it is popping up a small window that says "Personalized Settings" on the top, but is completely empty and crashes instantly. The only way I can get it to disappear is to kill the explorer.exe process. I wish I could take a screenshot but I can't seem to open paint or even find the exe. I have tried restarting it, I have tried starting it while the personalized settings window was open. I have come up with two lists of processes the first is the list of active processes when I boot into safe mode and explorer seems to work fine. The second is the list of processes that I can narrow it down to in normal boot and still replicate the problem. There is one process that I can't seem to close. NisSrv.exe which is describes as "Microsoft Network Realtime Inspection Service". When I try to close the process NisSrv.exe it says "The operation could not be completed. Access is denied." When I try to close the related service it gives the same message. Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected. My explorer tab in Autoruns seen below along with the error when I try to uncheck something. I should add that I seem to be able to disable shell extensions with ShellExView but I still can't get explorer to start correctly. EXPLORER SHELL UPDATE - See screenshot below I can access the explorer right click menu through a file manager I downloaded called NexusFile, but still no luck starting explorer. Another round of errors that I am getting regarding Windows Search Service The search service has detected corrupted data files in the index {id=4700}. • Backup data rate on Raspberry Pi maxing out at 5 Mb/s. Why?

  I set up my Raspberry Pi as a Time Machine, as documented here. At the moment, the Raspberry Pi is connected to my MacBook Pro using a direct Ethernet cable. Also, an external hard drive (laptop drive) is connected to the Raspberry Pi using the USB port. However, backups are pretty slow. Activity Monitor claims that the Network is transferring a very steady 5 Mb/s, where my Time Capsule is transferring up to 8 Mb/s with a lot of fluctuation. The Raspberry Pi self-reports (top) that its CPU is only half-used, with about equal parts afpd, usb-storage and jbd2/sda1-8. Thus, I think that the processing power of the Raspberry Pi does not seem to be the problem here. To me, this looks like there is some kind of bottleneck that maxes out at 5 Mb/s thus potentially having my backups run at less than their potential speed. To the best of my knowledge, this might be the afp-daemon, the usb-bus or the external hard drive. So, my question is, how could I identify the true culprit and what can I do about it?

  I was in a similar posistion to this question and bound two IP addresses using httpcfg. Since doing this ftp does not seem to be working on IIS6 in Windows Server 2003. Any ideas what could be wrong? Now the thing is, internally on the local network, everything works great. Clients can bind to the OD and the users are able to login. I can install trust and settings profiles (either custom or group profiles) and all services in the profiles mentioned are being configured correctly. I can log in and out, hump around and do it a 100 times on different macs with different users, it works. My goal is to make this service publicly. The domain is with a FQDN which I own, for simplicity let's say server.domain.com. Now the only way for me to bind the clients to the OD is using LDAP mapping RCF2307 (without SSL) and a DN suffix of dc=server,dc=domain,dc=com using the Directory Utility. The options from server, or open directory will throw several errors like Connection failed to node '/LDAPv3/server.domain.com (2100). First of all I don't really understand the problem why clients can't bind to the OD like it does locally, with and without SSL (all ports are open, literally all ports are open, not just 389,636 and 1640, wasn't sure if I was missing any). When the clients are using LDAP mapping RFC2307 to bind (without SSL only), clients are able to authenticate, login and even load the Trust profile. But every Settings profile will fail with a Debug Message: Unable to find GUID in user record OD or fail to install saying missing user identification. Is there any way to get this to work without RFC2307? Because there is quite some stuff missing when using RFC2307 and not pull the mapping from the server or use open directory. Is this setup even possible? Or should I use VPN to authenticate with the OD? The network setup is a Modem/Router (DHCP off) with WAN NATted to an Airport Extreme (Using DHCP+NAT). The AE does notify with a double NAT message but I haven't had any problems with it on any other service. That means before it comes to the login, a connection is already made or underway.
