  • getting html tags from xml and echoing in php?

    I am trying to echo a result from xml into my html code form expedia. But I ran into a problem.   • ASP.net Literal or Page altering HTML string, causing formatting issues

    We have a service that generates a report (using word templates and a 3rd party library), and then returns a string in HTML. While this HTML isn't great - its formatted correctly in this string. We want this HTML to show up on a page - format intact. What we currently have done is set an ASP.net Literal's text element to this string. While this works, I have noticed that it has reformatted the HTML string slightly. For the most part, it looks like it generated a bunch of new CSS classes, and a new style element in the HTML. This HTML does not exist in the string thats being returned. I could filter all of this back out, but wonder if there is a better way. I assume that the Page itself is altering something. What is the best way to display this raw HTML back to the user? I can't directly use a Response.Write(string), because this page does have a few other controls on it.

    I need to create rules for web.config that will rewrite all requests for files with extension .html to .asp and redirect all .asp requests to .html Example: file_xyz.asp rewrites to file_xyz.html directory1/file_xyz.asp rewrites to directory1/file_xyz.html and file_xyz.html redirects to file_xyz.asp directory1/file_xyz.html redirects to directory1/file_xyz.asp What is the syntax for the rule Is this too broad a rule? If I should need for what ever reason to have a physical file such as file_abc.html how do I exclude it from the redirect rule? I am thinking I should just use ISAPI_Rewrite http://www.isapirewrite.com/ there seems to be a ton of resources out there for rewriting with htaccess and very little online help for using IIS 7 URL rewrite. Any thoughts and/or advice Thanks in advance

  • jQuery using .html & then window.scrollTo

    Hello, I'm doing the following: First, inject HTML into the page (a lot) which then increases the window scrollbar: $("#XXXX").html("LOTS OF HTML").show(); Then i want to scroll down to the end of the page: window.scrollTo(0,$(document).height()); Problem is the page never scrolls down. I did some console.logging and the scrollTo is running before the HTML from the inject html() is run. I tried this in the JS which injects the HTML, I then tried doing the scroll inside the HTML inject but that made no difference. Any ideas?

    I am displaying some HTML text in an Adobe AIR Application that I do not want the user to be able to cut and paste. How do I make the HTML control disallow highlighting of the HTML without disabling the ScrollBars. mouseChildren=false works but disables the scrollbars which is unacceptable. Right now I have: <mx:HTML location="http://dexter/preview.html" width="100%" height="100%" id="PreviewArea" x="0" y="0" tabEnabled="false" tabChildren="false" focusEnabled="false" focusRect="null"/> But it's not working properly either. I have also tried overlaying a disabled transparent text control over the top of the HTML component, but the user is still able to tab to the HTML and use the keyboard controls to copy the text to the clipboard. Any hints?

  • I am making a maze type of game using javascript and HTML and need some questions answered [on hold]

    First off, i am a noob to JavaScript but am willing to learn. :) I found a simple JavaScript moment engine created by another member on this site. Using that i made it so my character can walk around within a rectangle/square shaped room. I want to make it so the character can walk through a "doorway" within a wall to the next room. Either that or make it so if the character moves over a certain image within the room it will take the player to another webpage in which the character "spawns" into the room and so on and so fourth.   • Best Silverlight Controls

    Who’s provides the best 3rd party Silverlight controls for LOB applications? In the past I’ve used Infragistics for WinForm controls which were very good and they also provide good support. However seem to be a bit behind the likes of Telerik in the Silverlight space? I’ve also noticed the Silverlight toolkit as well – are these as robust as Telerik’s? I'd be grateful if anyone could share any opinions or experiences that they may have.

For example : There is a dropDownList in one of them and when user selects any item from dropDownList, it can pass the selected value to the other user control which includes GridView to show related data of selected item value from the user control which contains the dropdownlist. I want to copy/paste a ton of controls without them being called Checkbox1 etc. I'd rather rename them manually since its only a small change to the name.

  • Stop VCL Child Controls from Inheriting Parent Popup Menu

    I have a Delphi 2007 VCL TPanel with a TPopupMenu assigned to it. There are some TEdit controls on the panel. The edits inherit the popup menu of the parent panel. I want to not allow this popup inheriting, so the edits will show the default Windows TEdit popup menu with Copy, Cut, Paste, etc., but have not found a way to do it yet. There doesn't appear to be a "ParentPopupMenu" type property to set which controls inherit it from the parent component.
