    I am trying to solve an issue when using a Castle ActiveRecord TransactionScope which is rolled back. After the rollback, I am unable to query the Dog table.     Im trying to get source files from VSS using Maven. But when I execute command mvn -DvssDirectory="C:\Program Files\VisualSourceSafe\win32" scm:update the log goes to [INFO] [scm:update {execution: default-cli}] [INFO] Executing: cmd.exe /X /C ""C:\Program Files\VisualSourceSafe\win32\ss" Get $/TEST -R -I- -GWS" [INFO] Working directory: C:\temp\test and then nothing happens. No error, no success. Can someone advice how to proceed with downloading sources from VSS?

We haven't been able to reproduce this behavior and the sites seem to work fine for days or weeks at a time (and many App Pool recycles) before failing. Has anybody else seen similar behavior? Update: We've tried reproducing the failure by setting up a few hundred sites and writing a script to hit them repeatedly while recycling the App Pool once every couple of minutes and were unable to accomplish much other than loading down the server's CPU for a few days straight. We then tried messing (locking one of the DLLs, changing the file permissions) with the copies of the DLLs that ASP.NET makes and managed to reproduce similar behavior but not the same exception. Does anybody have any ideas on how to adjust the security policy to get it to throw a System.Security.Policy.PolicyException: Execution permission cannot be acquired. when loading a specific DLL?

The datatable is created using Hibernate and is a join table between two classes mapping a many to many relationship.   • Android Mediaplayer: setDataSource issue for downloaded media file

    I have an application that will record and play audio files. Some of the audio files are downloaded using simple standard http downloads using httpclient. It worked like a charm for a long time. Now all of a sudden I cannot play the files I download. It fails with this stack. I store the files on the SDCard and I experience the problem both on a handset and a USB connected device. I have checked that the downloaded file is cool on the server, and I can play it without any issues.     The Scenario Currently I have a C# Silverlight Application That uses the domainservice class and the ADO.Net Entity Framework to communicate with my database. I want to load a child window upon clicking a button with some data that I retrieve from a server-side query to the database. The Process The first part of this process involves two load operations to load separate data from 2 tables. The next part of the process involves combining those lists of data to display in a listbox. The Problem The problem with this is that the first two asynchronous load operations haven't returned the data by the time the section of code to combine these lists of data is reached, thus result in a null value exception.....     I have a webview that displays properly, however the links are entirely inactive. If I try to select a link the selection magnifying glass appears. I've tried overriding - (BOOL)webView:(UIWebView *)webView shouldStartLoadWithRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request navigationType:(UIWebViewNavigationType)navigationType but the method will not execute. The class extends UIViewController <UIWebViewDelegate>, and my view is located in a tabbar, but I'm fairly certain everything's connected properly. Any suggestions?

It is trying to create the schema table using this sql: CREATE TABLE SubSonicSchemaInfo ( version int NOT NULL CONSTRAINT DF_SubSonicSchemaInfo_version DEFAULT (0) ) Which doesn't work on oracle. The correct sql would be: CREATE TABLE SubSonicSchemaInfo ( version int DEFAULT (0), constraint DF_SubSonicSchemaInfo_version primary key (version) ) The funny thing is that since this is the very first sql executed by subsonic migrations, NOBODY EVER TESTED it on oracle.

  • trying to find the comment hook I need for wordpress?

    hi all , I'm writing a wordpress plugin that will execute a certain function when a user submits a comment. The only issue is I'm using the hook "comment_post" which works but if that comment gets stopped by akismet I'm still logging that comment but now my numbers are off from what's on the actual site. Is there a comment_approved type hook I should be using instead? thanks!

  • How to speed up Cygwin?

    I have been running drush scripts (for drupal) with cygwin on my relatively fast windows machine, but I still have to wait about a minute for any drush command (specifically drush cache clear to execute). I'm quite sure it has something to do with the speed of cygwin since my fellow developers (who are running linux) can run these scripts in about 5 seconds. Is there a way to make cygwin use more memory and/or cpu per terminal?

    is it not possible to have both CLICK and DOUBLE_CLICK on the same display object? i'm trying to have both for the stage where double clicking the stage adds a new object and clicking once on the stage deselects a selected object. it appears that DOUBLE_CLICK will execute both itself as well as 2 CLICK functions. in other languages i've programmed with there was a built-in timers that set the two apart. is this not available in AS3?

    I didn't find much data about the internals of PL/Scope. I'd like to use it to analyze identifiers in PL/SQL scripts. Does it work only on Oracle 11g instances? Can I reference its dlls to use it on a machine with only ORACLE 9/10 installed? In a related manner, do I have to execute the script in order to its identifiers to be analyzed?

  • Cache the result of a MySQLdb database query in memory

    Our application fetches the correct database server from a pool of database servers. So each query is really 2 queries, and they look like this: Fetch the correct DB server Execute the query We do this so we can take DB servers online and offline as necessary, as well as for load-balancing. But the first query seems like it could be cached to memory, so it only actually queries the database every 5 or 10 minutes or so. What's the best way to do this? Thanks.
