• Left with extra UITableViewCell after re-ordering

  After going into Edit mode, moving a cell, and leaving edit mode, i am left with one extra cell sitting on top of its duplicate cell while still in edit mode.   Hi! I want to write a C# program that will read a row from a datatable (named loadDT) and update a database file (named Forecasts.mdb). My datatable looks like this (each day's value is a number representing kilowatts usage forecast): Hour Day1 Day2 Day3 Day4 Day5 Day6 Day7 1 519 520 524 498 501 476 451 My database file looks like this: Day Hour KWForecast 1 1 519 2 1 520 3 1 524 ... and so on. Basically, I want to be able to read one row from the datatable, and then extrapolate that out to my database file, one record at a time. Each row from the datatable will result in seven records written to the database file. Any ideas on how to go about this? I can connect to my database, the connection string works, and I can update and delete from the database. I just can't wrap my head around how to do this one record at a time. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

• PHP MySQL INSERT fails due to unique constraint

  On insert I am catching the unique constraint mysql_errno() 1062. This works fine but I want to find the existing row to re-instate or modify it. Is there are method to obtain the row id on insert fail? I tried mysql_insert_id() but realised that would only return the row I'm inserting (or failed to insert) therefore, I get 0. Is there no option but to issue another mysql_query and simply perform a select on the duplicate value? I just want to make sure there is no better, quicker, more economical way to do this.

  Hi there, I am a little confused as to how to approach this SQL query. I have two takes (equal number of records), and I would like to return a column with which is the division between the two. In other words, here is my not-working-correctly query: SELECT( (SELECT v FROM Table1) / (SELECT DotProduct FROM Table2) ); How would I do this? All I want it a column where each row equals the same row in Table1 divided by the same row in Table2. The resulting table should have the same number of rows, but I am getting something with a lot more rows than the original two tables. I am at a complete loss. Any advice?

• AdvancedDataGrid LockedRowCount not working

  I am trying to lock the 1st row in my ADG. This 1st row is the SummaryRow. When I set the lockedRowCount property to 1, it still does not freeze the 1st row. I have tried with different numbers, but it is still not working. In fact, when I try to trace the value for lockedRowCount, it traces it as 0. Can anyone provide suggestion on how to do this with the lockedRowCount property or if you can provide me with another workaround, that'll be great. Thanks :)

  Does anyone have a macro that copy data from one sheet to another based on the current date? I am working with a single workbook of three sheets. Sheet one will hold the manual input of daily production figures for multiple plants, sheet two is to hold ongoing daily data, keyed on sheet one. The macro will be associated with a button, so that once clicked it would search for every row that has a date of today, and copy that row to the next available blank row on sheet two. Sample Data... • Flex 4.6 Mobile - Scrolling to the last added item in a dataGrid with variableRowHeight

  I'm trying to set the scroll vertical position of a spark dataGrid to show the items as I add them to the grid. I know you can set the scroll position like this: dataGrid.scroller.viewport.verticalScrollPosition = itemPosition*rowHeight; The problem is that the dataGrid have variableRowHeight, as each row word wraps their name labels, and I don't know how to get each row height. I though of getting the itemRenderer associated with every item as I add it to the grid, and keep the total row height value in a variable, but don't know how to achieve that. Is there any way to set the scroll position of a dataGrid with variableRowHeight to show the last added item?

  I finally thought I had found a way to acutally use excel productively but the code that I followed does not appear to work. I'm thinking that the code is very limited and can't do what I want but I thought I'd ask to confirm - maybe it is my function that is the problem. I want to calculate the sum of a row of values for the previous month based on how many days we are into this month (i.e. It is the 20th of April so I want to sum the first 20 days of March to compare against.) =SUM(G4:ADDRESS(ROW(),7+$BR$3,4)) I basically want to SUM(G4:AA4) and have used the address function to return the cell reference AA4 by taking G4 and adding 20 to the column count. ADDRESS(ROW(),7+$BR$3,4) This successfully returns AA7 as expected HOWEVER, when I try to use the returning value in the SUM() function it throws an error... Am I not able to use this reference in my calculation?

  I have a database table. There is a field name "Sequence" that indicate sequence when user presents the rows in report or grid visually. When the rows are retrieved and presented in a grid, there are few UI gadget that allow user to reorder the rows arbitrary. The new sequence will be persist in database table when user commit the changes. Here are some UI operations: Move to first Move to last Move up 1 row Move down 1 row multi-select rows and move up or down multi-select rows and drag to new position For operation like "Move to first" or "Move to Last", it usually involve many rows and the sequence those rows would need to be updated accordingly. This may not be efficient enough at runtime. It is a common practice to use INTEGER as sequence's data type. Other solution is using "DOUBLE" or "FLOAT" that could overcome the mass update of row sequence but we will face problem if we reach the limit of precision.

  In MonoDevelop I have the following code which compiles: int[] row = new int[indices.Count]{}; However, at run-time, I get: Matrix.cs(53,53): Error CS0150: A constant value is expected (CS0150) (testMatrix) I know what this error means and forces me to then resize the array: int[] row = new int[indices.Count]{}; Array.Resize(ref row, rowWidth); Is this something I just have to deal with because I am using MonoDevelop on Linux? I was certain that under .Net 3.5 I was able to initialize an array with a variable containing the width of the array. Can anyone confirm that this is isolated? If so, I can report the bug to bugzilla.

  I've seen other questions about this exception, but all of them seem to be resolved with the solution that a row with the primary key specified already exists. This doesn't seem to be the case for me. I have tried replacing all single quotes in my strings with double quotes, but the same problem occurs. The row's primary key HAS to be unique, because it's the only row in the table. Therefore, the only thing I can think of is my CHECK conditions aren't true. • Formatting a query to enumerate through 2 different datatables

  I have 2 datatables sendTable and recvTable They both have identical column names and numbers of columns "NODE" "DSP Name" "BUS" "IDENT" "STATION" "REF1" "REF2" "REF3" "REF4" "REF5" "REF6" "REF7" "REF8" I need to compare these 2 tables and separate out the mismatches I only need to check Columns 3-11 and Ignore col 1 and 2 I tried at first removing the 2 columns and then loop thru row by row and return matches and mismatches but the problem with this approach is that I no longer have the "NODE" and "DSP Name" associated with the row when I finalize my results So I need help with a query Here is my attempt var samerecordQuery = from r1 in sendTable.AsEnumerable() where r1.Field<int>("BUS").Equals(from r2 in recvTable.AsEnumerable() where r2.Field<int>("BUS")) this obviously doesn't work so how do I format the query to say from r1 cols[3-11] equals r2 cols [3-11] and once I have this I can use the except to pull out the mismatches

I don't find the syntax which will allow me to pass the array of arrays to the second function... Could you please help?   Hi, So using the regular MongoDB library in Ruby I have the following query to find average filesize across a set of 5001 documents: avg = 0 total = collection.count() Rails.logger.info "#{total} asset creation stats in the system" collection.find().each {|row| avg += (row["filesize"] * (1/total.to_f)) if row["filesize"]} Its pretty simple, so I'm trying to do the same using map/reduce as a learning exercise. This is what I came up with: map = 'function(){emit("filesizes", {size: this.filesize, num: 1});}' reduce = 'function(k, vals){ var result = {size: 0, num: 0}; for(var x in vals) { var new_total = result.num + vals[x].num; result.num = new_total result.size = result.size + (vals[x].size * (vals[x].num / new_total)); } return result; }' @results = collection.map_reduce(map, reduce) However the two queries come back with two different results! What am I doing wrong?
