• Can the memory used by MKMapView be released some how?

  I am using an MKMapView in my iPhone application. When I load this view, the activity monitor instrument shows that the real memory of my App is increasing significantly. It keeps going up as you move the map around or zoom in and out. Once the View controller that loads this view is removed, the memory that was allocated due to the usage of the mapView does not get freed up. Is there something that can be done to get all this memory back?

  I wan't to add shortcuts on my springboard form my application. The way i'm following is loading a UIWebView and then trying to add a bookmark. But I can't figure out how to add the "+" button to bookmark the content of my WebView... Is there a way to do so ? Or is there another way to add shortcuts on the springboard programmatically ?   In my surface application I have a SurfaceWindow with a SurfaceUserControl on. On the SurfaceUserControl I have a SurfaceButton but the ContactUp (and down) event is not fired. The ContactHoldGesture event is fired though. Any ideas?

  I am using UIWebView as a web browser on my application and when I open an url with my browser and return back to the main view, then go to browser view, my webview doesn't save the content. • Is it possible to simulate TMenuBreak functionality with Dev Express TdxBarSubItems?

  In my application I'm dynamically adding new TdxBarSubItems based off of a SQL query. In some cases the result set is rather large so the menu fills the entire screen and sometimes has a down arrow to scroll the list. In a previous version of the code before switching to Dev Express, I was able to add TMenuBreak objects to make the list divide into columns. Is there a way to do this with Dev Express components?

  Hello, Because the IP of the SMTP server that is being used by my Gridserver account at Mediatemple is blacklisted I'm looking for an off site SMTP service to send mails from my PHP application to (verification mails, notifications, etc). I'm using CampaignMonitor.com for mass mailings, but for all other mails I would like to use another service. I've checked out smtp.com and smtp-server.com which look okay, but maybe there are better out there? A reporting feature for undeliverables are a huge plus!
