• Amazon API library for Python?

  What Python libraries do folks use for querying Amazon product data? (Amazon Associates Web Service - used to be called E-Commerce API, or something along those lines). Based on my research, PyAWS (http://pyaws.sourceforge.net/) seems okay, but still pretty raw (and hasn't been updated in a while). Wondering if there's an obvious canonical library that I'm just missing.

Question is about our DAL layer we wanted a clean and easily maintained Data access layer, We wanted go with Entity Framework 4.1.   I am just wondering if you are supposed to write a sort of really secure application with data being transmitted over insecure networks, what kind of encryption algorithm will you use it in order to make it safe ? I know several c++ libraries for encryption providing nice functions with different algorithms, but i'm not quite sure which cipher to use - AES, DES, RSA, Blowfish or maybe something more different ?   i need a regular expressions string to get all anchor tags in a page with a specific css class name, in c#/vb.net this is what i got so far "<a.*?href=""(.*?)"".*?>(.*?)</a>" but my attempts to add "class=name" isnt working, also is it possible to find links where the class name appears either before or after the href with one expression ? i am familiar with 3rd party html libraries, but thats an overkill for what i have in mind, so is the webbrowser control.

  I always wondered what's the purpose of the rotate instructions some CPUs have (ROL, RCL on x86, for example). What kind of software makes use of these instructions? I first thought they may be used for encryption/computing hash codes, but these libraries are written usually in C, which doesn't have operators that map to these instructions.
