    I'm just getting started with Objective-C and I'm writing a simple application. I made two outlets : wnd - main window display - the text box Then I've tried using this code: [wnd setTitle:[display value]]; Unfortuanately it didn't work ... The debugger said : 2010-05-22 XX:XX:08.577 HelloWorld[2536:a0f] -[NSTextField value]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x102e032a0 Does anyone know how to get it to work?

    Hello All, I am using a UiTableView in our application.We have two tabs in controller one is add to shopping list where i add more than one items in our shopping list in database,other one is shopping list which shows items for shopping. The problem is that when i add items from shopping list tab then items are successfully added in database but when i click on shopping list tab then any items not shown in shopping list. How i reload data in UiTableView when i click on shopping list tab.

  • C# Get Keys from a Dictionary<string, Stream>

    Suppose I have a Dictionary like so: Dictionary<string, Stream> How can I get a list (or IEnumerable or whatever) of JUST the Keys from this dictionary? Is this possible? I could enumerate the dictionary, and extract the keys one by one, but I was hoping to avoid this. In my instance, the Dictionary contains a list of filenames (file1.doc, filex.bmp etc...) and the stream content of the file from another part of the application.

  • mysql_connect randomly hangs up

    I install php 5 (more precisely 5.3.1) as apache module. After this one of my application becomes randomly hang up on mysql_connect - sometimes works, sometimes no, sometimes reload of page helps. How can this be fixed? I use Windows Vista, Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) PHP/5.3.1 with php module, MySql 5.0.67-community-nt.

  • Problem in suspending 2 threads at the same time in MFC!

    I am learning about threading and multithreading..so i just created a small application in which i will update the progressbar and a static text using threading.I vl get two inputs from the user, start and end values for how long the loop should rotate.I have 2threads in my application. Thread1- to update the progressbar(according to the loop) the static text which will show the count(loop count). Thread2 - to update the another static text which will just diplay a name Basically if the user clicks start, the progressbar steps up and at the same time filecount and the name are displayed parallely. There's is another operation where if the user clicks pause it(thread) has to suspend until the user clicks resume. The problem is,the above will not work(will not suspend and resume) for both thread..but works for a singlw thread.     I have tried to find out why JSON is not working in Firefox all over this forum and the internet. It works on tablets, ie, safari. It works on my desktop in firefox. It only does not work after uploading I've tried a few things (commented out), such as mimeType with no solution. I have tried using the $.ajax with no better luck. Firefox had no javascript errors. I'm using jQuery 1.7.   • Best way to associate phone numbers with names

    My application stores lots of its users friends' phone numbers. I'd like to allow users to associate names with these phone numbers, but I don't want to make users manually type in names (obviously). I'm curious what the best overall approach is here, as well as the best way to implement it Overall approach-wise, I imagine using Gmail / Yahoo / Windows Live contacts is best (the Facebook API doesn't let you access phone numbers), though the gems I've found for interacting with these contacts APIs (this and this) only give you access to the names and email addresses of each contact.
