Android Facebook SDK : post message without showing facebook page

I am trying to integrate Facebook to my Android app for social post. I have downloaded latest Facebook sdk from here and apply all setup require to post to facebook. Now i can post to facebook. But problem is that, when i run sample program from facebook sdk, a browser like page is open and user have to enter message himself there. but i dont want this page to showed up. i want a fixed message to post directly without opening facebook dialog box. But if there is noway to avoid this, please tell me how can i fixed certain part of message so that user can't modified it. Avoid writing SQL queries altogether in SSIS

Working on a Data Warehouse project, the guy that gave us the tutorial advised that we stick to using SQL queries over defining a lot of data flow transformations, citing points like it'll consume a lot of memory on the ETL box so we'd rather leave the processing to the DB box. Is this really advisable? Where's the balance between relying on GUI tools over executing a bunch of SQL scripts on your Integration package? Is there a faster way to launch Activity on Android when using maven?

Within Eclipse, everything works perfectly when I run 'mvn install android:deploy'...however, this takes about 18 seconds to complete. Is there a faster way to launch my android application. Unable to use getInt() but able to use getString() for a sqlite database

I am using a cursor to access a sqlite database I have in my app. I am having trouble using the .getInt() on my database. My database is pre-created, and I have a few cursors that perform queries to interface with the information. Several of the columns in one of the tables are set as INTEGER type. I realize that sqlite has no built in check to make sure columns are indeed INT. However, when retrieving the data, I can use the .getString() function without any issues, but calling .getInt() causes the app to crash. Below is the relevant code. If I am missing anything, please let me know, and I'll add it in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. MMC and Server Manager Authentication Errors - Access Denied

I'm trying to connect remotely from my Windows 8 client to manage my Hyper-V Server 2012. I have done everything I can find to configure remote management of the server including: Added a net user on server Enabled anonymous dcom access on server and client Added firewall rules for "Windows Firewall Remote Management" and "Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)" on server Added firewall exception on server for client IP Added cmdkey on client Added server to TrustedHost list on client Added LocalAccountTokenFilter policy registry entry on server Added client IP to server's host file Added server IP to client's host file I cannot believe I am still getting these errors. What's even more strange is that I can connect in Hyper-V Manager and create VM's but not in MMC and Server Manager. I also get Access Denied trying to Open the Authorization Store on my server from my client using Authorization Manager. I'm providing all the errors because I have a feeling they root from the same problem. Does anybody see anything I missed?Read the article

How to find and diagnose poorly-performing Firefox addins?

I use a lot of addins in my Firefox. One of them is causing periodic freezes when watching video. Super annoying. Aside from doing a binary search of disabling addins to narrow down the problem (which would take a very long time due to frequency of the freezes), are there any other options? If the problem came from the native app, then I'd just load up a profiler and see where the time is going. But it's all in Javascript. Are there any tools that exist to help figure this out? Maybe some instrumentation I can throw on a few key source files in a local build to help diagnose the problem?Read the article

Script / command to drop all connections / locks in Sybase SQL Anywhere 9?

I've recently become responsible for administering an application which is essentially a front end to a Sybase SQL Anywhere 9 database, including the database itself. I'd like to use unload table to efficiently export the data for backup and, in the case of a few tables, ETL to get it into a reporting database / small scale data warehouse. The problem is that the client application crashes and leaves dead connections and shared locks on a pretty regular basis, which seems to prevent unload table from getting the (brief) exclusive locks it needs. Currently I use Sybase Central to verify that these connections are in fact zombies and drop them myself at the end of the day / week. Is there a command or script to drop all connections? Being able to drop everything at once after verifying that they're unneeded would be quite helpful but I haven't found a way to do it.Read the article

I need to create a Print Server Port via commandline in Windows 8 Per Google search I should be using prnport.vbs script to do so: cscript c:\Windows\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\prnport.vbs -a -s \\192.168.113.253 -r Xerox_192.168.113.253 However I get this error: ** Unable to connect to WMI service Error 0x800706BA The RPC Server is unavailable. ** I looked at local services and both RPC and WMI services are started . Also I made sure add remote admin rule to Windows Firewall via command line without success!: netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="windows management instrumentation (wmi)" new enable=yes netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="remote administration" new enable=yes NOTE: If I use the GUI to create the print server port then add the printer via command line: rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "Xerox WorkCenter 7535" /F C:\Windows\Inf\WC7545-7556_PCL6_x64_Driver\x2DNORX.inf /r "Xerox_192.168.113.253" /m "Xerox WorkCentre 7535 PCL6" THE PRINTER IS SUCCESSFULLY ADDED. EXEC() syntax error using ODBC

I have written a little ETL application that I wish to run a few lines of TSQL from. If i enter a simple query like "SELECT * FROM MyTable" everything is fine. All single line commands run as expected. A multiline query like this is also fine: DECLARE @TableName NVARCHAR(MAX) set @TableName = 'MyTable' EXECute ( 'DROP TABLE '+ @TableName ) Howevery when I try and run: DECLARE @TableName NVARCHAR(MAX) OPEN Tables FETCH NEXT FROM Tables INTO @TableName WHILE @@FETCH_STATUS = 0 BEGIN EXEC( 'DROP TABLE ' + @TableName ) FETCH NEXT FROM Tables INTO @TableName END I get a syntax error after TABLE in the EXEC() call. I have spent 6 hours trying to figure this out thinking perhaps I need to escape the single quote or something. I just cannot see the problem. how to find out what is causing huge dentry_cache usage?

Note that inode_cache & ext3_inode_cache slabs are very small compared to dentry_cache. What happens is that slowly and steadily the within a week dentry_cache grows from 1M to ~5-6G Then I need to run echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches && echo 0 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches This started to happening one day on all servers hosting some web code - the developers are saying that they have not changed anything related to filesystem access pattern around the time then the problem started. The system is centos5 with 2.6.18 kernel so I don't have any instrumentation features available th newer kernels. Any I idea how I can debug the problem? maybe with systemtap? This is a ec2 instance - so not even sure that systemtap will work there. Thanks AlexRead the article
