    I'm trying to execute a PL/SQL function in EclipseLink which uses Oracle Specific types(eg. Boolean). I've tried using PLSQLStoredProcedureCall which complains that I'm not executing a procedure and I have tried using StoredFunctionCall but that returns PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type Has anyone developed a solution to invoke functions in EclipseLink with Oracle Types? I have heard that it would be possible to extend StoredFunctionCall but I'd rather leverage existing functionality as much as possible.

    Hi, In order to generate the encrypted data we would need to define a Key that should suffice generating the data. But in .net DESCryptoServiceProvider requires Key and Intialisation Vector to generate the encrypted data. In this regard, I would like to know the importance & the benefit gained by defining this initialisation vector field. Is this mandatory while encryption using DES algorithm.     I am working on a project on survivable multicasting.I want to propose a hybrid scheme(protection and restoration) for that purpose.Can anyone help me with an approach to decide protection points in a multicast tree??(The protection points will be those points upto which there will be an alternate path from the multicast source(protection) and from protection point to the multicast destination the path will be dynamically restored.).Pls suggest an approach to find the protection points.I found an approach name caterpillar tree which assigns the nodes on the spine of caterpillar tree as protection points.Is there any other such approach..?

In my case when i clicked url to play the video,player is loaded but is not visible, in the same window, but i had opened in new window in internetexploer it will playing..working fine?
