  • Facebook Graph API With iPhone SDK

    Hi, Has anyone been able to implement Facebooks Graph API in a native iPhone Application? The documentation is pretty sparse when it comes to iPhone integration, but the calls to get users information looks a lot more light weight than the previous method of using FBConnect. So i would like to use it. I have seen a few posts about but none explain you you would implement the login button as we did previously with FBConnect? If any one has achieved this or can offer me any pointers that would be brilliant Thanks Tom

  • openvpn: after changing to server mode, client does not create TUN device

    i had a previously working configuration with the config files used in a previous question However, i've changed this now to the following configuration using server mode, everything on the logs seem fine, however the client doesn't create any tun interface, so i don't have anything to connect to, presumably, i need to add or push some route commands, but i don't have any idea at this point what i need to do.   • Cannot run a VM with more than three network interfaces with KVM

    I'm running KVM on top of Ubuntu 10.10 Server I can create VM's (Virtual Machine) and network interfaces fine but I cannot seem to add more than three network interfaces. As soon as I have a VM with four network interfaces it gets stuck on startup at the starting SeaBIOS page with this message: Starting SeaBIOS (version pre-0.6.1-20100702_143500-palmer) So far I've verified this with two VM's, a Ubuntu 10.10 desktop and a Vyatta router. The specific network hardware I assign to the VM's doesn't seem to matter. I'm trying to have one bridged interface and three private networks using Vyatta to route between them. Does anyone know why I can't run a VM with more than three network interfaces? Edit: Additionally the KVM thread responsible for the specific VM hangs using ~100% CPU (i.e. one core).   • Secure openVPN using IPTABLES

    Hey, I setup an openVPN server and it works ok. The next step is to secure it, I opted to use IPTABLES to only allow certain connections through but so far it is not working. I want to enable access to the network behind my openVPN server, and allow other services (web access), when iptables is disabaled or set to allow all this works fine, when using my following rules it does not. also note, I already configured openVPN itself to do what i want and it works fine, its only failing when iptables is started. Any help to tell me why this isnt working will appreciated here.     We have a linux VM running under XenServer that reboots itself with no apparent reason. Checking the /var/log files in Xen we noticed that it's sending a force shutdown to the VM, like this: messages:Dec 6 15:01:07 XenSrvDell2 BLKTAP-DAEMON[7309]: /local/domain/0/backend/tap/19/51728: got start/shutdown watch on /local/domain/0/backend/tap/19/51728/tapdisk-request What we can't find is the reason why the force-shutdown was initiated. Is there any "higher level log" that might tell us who or why triggered the shutdown?

What is the best way to write my result set into an array as set above where name and abbreviation share the same key?

So, assuming this data: Joe has Trophy, Medal Sue has Trophy, Ribbon Tom has Trophy, Ribbon, Medal The query above would return Joe, Sue, and Tom because all three possess at least one of Trophy or Ribbon.     Hello together, my Question is quite simple. I have an add-button. When I tap on it -- presentmodelviewController presents a UIViewController, which contains a simple Table with cells. When I tap on a Cell, i want to display a new View using pushViewController, which automatically creates a "back Button". At the top of it in this new View i have a Textfield, where I can enter some Text. When I tap the back-button, the view slides back to the add-View (which was presented using modalView...). Now i want the text edited in the view before to be placed in the Label of the first row (cell) on which I tapped. So I want to do this for 5 cells. Each of them presenting another xib. However, the first tap issued doesn't take any action but adds one (just as planned) on the second tap.   • PHP: form action on same page, still show same until refresh

    Yes, Im having a little edit profile page, index.php?mode=profile. Lets take the username in the editprofile form as example. The username is already in the username-field. So i changed from "Peter" to "Tom" and press save. The action is ?mode=profile&edit=true. So now when i have pressed save it has updated the column in the db from Peter to Tom. But this field keeps having the value "Peter" until if i do press refresh (or f5), then "Tom" will appear. Like it hasnt updated in the database anything, although it did but it still shows Peter until next refresh.. like it caches, but it shouldnt cache nothing? Any help on this? Is it because its on the same "page" / file? what can i do

  • call method in a subclass of UIView

    Hey, I've got a UIViewController and an own class, a subclass of UIView. In my ViewController I make a instance of the uiview. If I tap the uiview a function gets called within it and an overlay appears. TO get rid of that overlay later the user has to tap somewhere on the screen(besides the instance of my class) How do I tell my class to dismiss the overlay? I already thought of delegate. So my thoughts were to make a MyUIViewControllerdelegate. If my viewcontroller receives a tap the delegate should be called. THe only problem is how do I tell my subclass that it should receive that delegate? I Have no instance of my viewcontroller in my subclass so I can not set the delegate. Any Ideas? Hope my problem is clear :) Thanks a lot

I can execute: SELECT COUNT (Field1) WHERE (Field1 <> '') AS Field1Count SELECT COUNT (Field2) WHERE (Field2 <> '') AS Field2Count SELECT COUNT (Field3) WHERE (Field3 <> '') AS Field3Count SELECT COUNT (Field4) WHERE (Field4 <> '') AS Field4Count Is it possible to roll up these separate SQL statements into one that will return the 4 results in one hit? Is there any performance advantage to doing so (given that the number of columns and rows may be quite large in practice)?

    Hello, I'm somewhat new to SQL queries, and I'm struggling with this particular problem. Let's say I have query that returns the following 3 records (kept to one column for simplicity): Tom Jack Tom And I want to have those results grouped by the name and also include the fraction (ratio) of the occurrence of that name out of the total records returned. So, the desired result would be (as two columns): Tom | 2/3 Jack | 1/3 How would I go about it? Determining the numerator is pretty easy (I can just use COUNT() and GROUP BY name), but I'm having trouble translating that into a ratio out of the total rows returned. Any help is much appreciated!

It is unusual when i use [ShareAppDelegate showLoading] on other Function, - it work very nice, i mean all the statement be executed in order. All i want, when i tap on My Button, Loading will be called immediatelly. Tks in advance

  • iPhone: App crashes when I click on a cell in table view.

    Hi there, Compiling my application works—everything is fine. The only errors I get are by deprecated functions (setText). The only problem is now, is that when I tap on a cell in my table, the app crashes, even though it's meant to push to the next view in the stack. Any solutions are appreciated, if you need any code, just ask. Also, how can I only make sure that one cell goes to only one view? For example: When I tap on CSS, it takes me to a new table with different levels of CSS. WHen I tap on an item in that new view, it comes up with an article on what I just selected. Regards, Jack

    I've got two textfields in a row for username and password. When you're finished putting in your username, the most natural thing to do is to just tap on the next textfield, like you would with a web form. But that doesn't work -- you can't edit the next field until you press "Done" on the keyboard for the first field and then tap on the second one. My question is: is it possible to set up two textfields so that you end editing on the first one and begin editing the second when you tap the second field?

  • Xcode method navigation

    In Xcode 4, I can press Ctrl-6 to get a list of all the methods in the current file. The problem is, if I have private methods declared at the top of my implementation file, say: @interface Foo () -(void)tap:(id)sender; @end @implementation Foo ... -(void)tap:(id)sender { ... } then starting to type "tap" while the method list is visible will just take me to the declaration, since it comes first in the file, when what I really want is the implementation. Is there any way to exclude these declarations from the method list or do I need to resort to separate Foo.h and Foo+Private.h headers? Thanks!
